  1. Lura Paleheart sits at her table holding her head in dismay, silently staring at her cup of tea, untouched and long since cooled. She winces as a sharp pain echoes in her head, causing her to collapse on the table, spilling the cup of tea all over. "Dravi... firr Gustaf, vy were a dobry man, spasiba for everything." As she hums herself to sleep.
  2. Lura Paleheart sits above a roof in Haense, overlooking the skyline of the city, with a bottle of scotch in her hand she wonders as she thinks back to when she received the news of her uncle's passing, 'When will it end?' 'Rest in peace aedypapaj Iulius, spasiba for everything you've done for friends and family.' Before continuing to drown herself in alcohol and grief throughout the lonesome night. Alexander Paleheart is not here anymore.
  3. [!] A piece of paper is nailed to both the notice boards of Haense. The writing on it is neat and shows force behind the hand. “Salutations, Family or friends, the many acquaintances I’ve come across, I, Alexander Paleheart, am dead. But do not cry for my death, I am but a snowflake in the blizzard of life, it will move on without me. These are my last wishes. To Pyotr, though your situation may be grim now, do not give in to hopelessness, climb back up and do not give up. To Johanna, may your marriage thrive like a beautiful flower which will never wilt. Though I must apologise for not being able to complete that sculpture and the missed opportunity to see your children. To my daughter Lura, I have spent most of my life training you and preparing you to achieve your dream of becoming an adventurer like me. I shall give you all my worldly possessions, house, mina, and all. Now go forth and live the life you desire. To the Vernharts, cousin Iulius, I hope you stay in good health, and live a happy life along with your wife Madeline; To Clara, do not give up on your dreams, you are a wonderful person. Though I know you will cry, I hope that Lura can be there to fill in for me; To Jakob, though I've only seen you around, I hope that you will grow up into a fine man. I wish the best for rest of the Vernharts and family. To Harald the ex-Vernhart, if you are out there, I hope you redeem yourself somehow, and for once learn something instead of avoiding it. To my old brothers and sisters in arms of the Brotherhood of Saint Karl, I salute you one last time. Please, continue to protect Haense and uphold justice throughout the nation. For every other friend I’ve failed to mention due to time constraints, I hope you fulfil what you desire, are happy, and bring light to others who are in darkness. Sincerely, Alexander Paleheart” [!] A wax stamp of the Paleheart insignia can be seen here.
  4. "Farewell, your majesty." Alex would say as he gazed upon the king's lifeless body, before moving off to his own devices, leaving a tear splatter on the floor.
  5. Still stilling at the tavern, Alex Paleheart would not move an inch until he heard a young elf girl whom he did not recognize approached him to speak with him, "Papaj! Look what ea drew!" she held out a doodle of him saving her from wolves in a forest, "C-c-cou-s-sin, e-ea- I- f-fail-ed you..." he rambled crazily, before getting up while fidgeting, failing to notice his daughter as he went for his nightly patrol... if he even knows what he is doing at this point.
  6. Wandering the empty streets of the city, Alex Paleheart could be seen walking around in an odd manner in his usual night patrol path, though this time his daughter Lura Paleheart would be chasing her father, asking "Papaj! Vhat's wrong with vy! Come back!" with tears rolling down her cheeks. If one were to go close enough to Alex Paleheart they would hear the crazed ramblings of a broken man in snow white armor, repeating "I failed, I failed, I failed, I failed, I failed," over and over again as he ignored his daughter's cries.
  7. Far away an armored man would be reading the book he received from a parrot, he lowered the cup of tea he was drinking onto the table, another friend meets their end he thought to himself, his eyes losing a bit of spark yet again. He closed the book, putting it on the table before turning to the elf girl who burnt her lip from trying to drink the tea, "There, there Lura, you should've blown it before drinking," he said patting his daughter's head. "Farewell, Iolas..." he sighed as he looked to the skies above.
  8. Alex Paleheart would stand over Josef, clutching a right atronach arm in his hands while his mask hung open from his helm, "I had wished to have one last cup of tea with you dear friend, fate is a cruel mistress isn't she." he chuckled, "I promise you I shall take care of Johanna, it is the least I can do," he promised with a single tear dropping to the floor, putting on his mask before walking away. As he was exiting the area he inspected the name on the limb which read 'Jakob Ludovar', letting out a sigh, "So they got his name wrong too..."

Alexander (Alex) grew up in an unknown land and settlement somewhere in Almaris, he was trained in both close quarters combat and a bit of ranged combat when he was 5. When he was older, he found that he cannot use weapons such as hammers for more than a few strikes before feeling weak, thus refrains from using heavier weapons. One day when he was 15 he found a ruined structure while exploring in a forest and touched a gemstone that was resting on a pedestal which teleported him to an unknown location in Almaris. When he regained consciousness he found that he couldn't remember much about himself, only his name, blurry memories, and the vigorous training that he went through as a child. He wandered the lands for three years, he didn't need food or water until the glow of the gemstone began to wane and lost it's power and he then resorted to stealing from the settlements that he came across or hunting for animals in the wild. He eventually learnt that his homeland was no longer on the map, it was simply forgotten by time. So he embarked on journey to Haense to meet an acquaintance that he met not too long ago, to hopefully help him settle down in a city to now explore the lands of Almaris rather than wandering aimlessly through harsh wind and snow.
