  1. A Response To The Edict Of Cleansing A Missive, to The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and House Godunov After receiving the missive regarding our familial lineage. As of now, Camellia Anovna Liridona Godunov and Aleksey Anovich Henrik Godunov won’t mince our words: we refuse to swear allegiance to our aunt, bear the burden of the family name any longer, nor stand by the lies told of our family. Our decision to reject the family name and adopt a new one is an affirmation of our autonomy and the unique journey that lies ahead for us. From this moment forward, we renounce our connection to the family name and will proudly adopt a new one. As for our siblings, we acknowledge that each must navigate their own path, and we respect their autonomy to make decisions aligned with their own convictions and aspirations. Those that do not follow a similar path are those we bear no ill will to, and we wish them the best. Our allegiance lies with ourselves and our own ambitions. With respectful regards, Camellia Anovna Liridona De Knowles Aleksey Anovich Henrik De Knowles
  2. Camellia found the missive posted on a board, she took it in her hands and read it thoroughly. A sigh left her, what she had pushed off for some time now can no longer be ignored. She made her way to her brother, ink and paper in her hand.
  3. Camellia Godunov trailed through the house after learning the news. Each step had her feet dragging across the floor, weighted with frustration and sorrow. At 10, she had composed herself well, perhaps a trait she'd adopted from her mother. As she hit the staircase of the house, she stood there idly for a moment, fists clenched, jaw tightened, as she truly did try to hold herself together. Each glimmering hope that her mother would return was dissipated with each step she climbed. Once she reached her room, her hand twitched as her body stood still, fearing that if she opened that door, her mother would really be gone. Oh, but she was gone. Camellia knew that all too well; she did, so why did she hesitate? At such a young age, she was burdened with the duty to pick her entire family back onto their feet. She did not believe her father, Anatoliy, could do such a thing. He was gone far too often; she had only known him for his harsh characteristics. Without a moment longer, she turned that door knob, and a fit of anger stormed over the young girl's mind. One that would compete with her fathers. Her rage has turned biblical, incoherent. Tell me where to put the anger. She thought to herself. How do I get closure for something that just suddenly stops? Camellia opened the door slowly, and she took a step inside.

  5. After retrieving his letter, Konstantin had just returned home, opening it with a humble hum. He had just finished the hat he had spent eternity learning to weave for his beloved. He was excited to be able to share, as Konstantin had finished talking to Onon about it. He read the note repeatedly, trying to convince himself that his eyes were deceiving him. One word lingered out to him, his thumb trailing over it. Hope. It was a word that carried so much weight in their time together; it was so constricting he could not breathe. She had written it twice in her letter; to him, it was a resemblance that the word bared two sides. It was a bridge connecting them to a world where they had to trick to be together. Tears blurred his vision as memories of their life flooded his mind – the laughter they shared, the dreams they dared to chase, and the quiet moments of contentment spent in each other's company. How could she be gone? It felt inconceivable as if the universe had played a cruel trick on him. With a heavy heart, Konstantin made his way to the bedroom they once shared, every step feeling like an eternity. He sat on the edge of the bed, surrounded by the echoes of their shared past, grappling with the reality of her absence. The room felt emptier now, devoid of her warmth and presence. The hat sat next to him as a forever reminder of the regret he will never be able to shake off, burdening him with the punishment of existing.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) He'd glance around for a moment before looking towards the old hag, he'd sway his hand in front of his face glaring at her. Closing his eyes super tightly than slowly opening them, pausing for a second, he'd suddenly burst out into a fit of laughter pointing at the old woman. "Szam.. szam- Vy caught me off guard." Clearing making fun of her. He'd wipe a tear, chuckling periodically trying to calm his laughter, looking towards the chair and purposefully avoiding it. Each step he takes he'd glance at the woman then back to the walls and down at his feet. "There's nothing to say, Ae'm just here dlum mae brother. Grew up iv Karosgrad with mae older siblings, our father was a drunk." Coughing, he'd lift his foot planting it down hard, turning in the direction of the door. "Ae wont waste any more time here, szam, spadiba, good bye." He'd trail towards the exit letting himself out, once again releasing his repressed laughter.
