  2. Henri Carnelle gently moved his hand fan as he read the freshly handed missive. Loudly laughed he spoke "Oh, this is so embarrassing" the man's head turned to face his daughter "Do bring more of this if such comes to light..."
  3. "Ohhoho!" laughed loudly the man behind the Gentleman's Courier. A sense of nervousness began to approach his mind. Was this smart to begin with? But, then again "Recognition..." he bellowed with a sly smirk upon his face. The man then raised his head, turning it to face one of his own writers "To haste my friend, the scoundrel has awoke and I wish to destroy her before she gets to step out of bed."

  7. The Baroness of Rosalervo “My sister is… To say the least, a woman with a captivating demeanour. I have little to no doubt in her ability politically, as that sharp tongue and tendency to bring everyone around her down in spirits may do wonders in Garmont. She would fit in well in a court, but perhaps one where she’s judge, jury and executioner, not the kind where you discuss culture. I can, however, proudly say that she is a proper, true member of House Carnelle and I wish her luck in her reign of terror.” Antonio Vicenzo Carnelle Previous Baron of Rosalervo A S P R O C L A I M E D B Y The Lady, Third Baroness of Rosalervo, Anna-Marie Margherite, of the House of Carnelle I, ANNA-MARIE MARGHERITE of HOUSE CARNELLE, hereby proclaim that I shall assume the position of Baroness of Rosalervo, therefore also becoming the Matriarch of House Carnelle. This is a result of the request from my elder brother, the previous Baron of Rosalervo, Antonio Carnelle who no longer saw himself fit to lead our family in the domain of His Grace Joseph of Petra. LET IT BE KNOWN that my time as Baroness will bring much needed changes and reforms to our House and title. For over two decades the direction this house had taken under my brother brought us absolutely nothing of worth. It is now my main objective to bolster our efforts in the courts and affairs of this very realm. In that regard I know well that I shall not fail. I am aware of the stigma that surrounds this abdication, and while it was not the responsibility I sought, it shall be done. TO MY KIN I DECLARE, our future is secure and our status is well maintained. It is time for House Carnelle to appropriately carry out its duties, obligations and return to the times of an active, rapidly-developing house that engages with the affairs of our Commonwealth. Do dedicate your trust to me and I assure you that you will not regret it. THEREFORE, we hereby invite the good people of Petra and the wider Empire, both of noble birth and humble beginnings to join us in a celebration of succession. The evening will include the following: ✦ Drinks and Hors D'oeuvres Served in the hall by our fantastic staff. There shall be quishes, and they shall be mini. There shall be eggs, and they shall be deviled. There shall be a selection of cheeses and nuts, and plenty more from whence they came. ✦ Primary Entertainment We will be finding a slew of entertainment for the evening, including musicians, artisans, and a chorus from Anna’s canine choir. ✦ Secondry Entertainment Aligning with the Baroness’ love for dogs, House Carnelle will be running a dog race in which participants are welcome to bet on their champion. In addition to their financial prize, winners will be gifted a puppy from Lady Anna-Marie’s pedigree, of which they can decide to train it themselves, or leave it within the Carnelle residence until it is trained, at full maturity. THE LADY BARONESS, Anna-Marie Carnelle Baroness of Rosalervo, Matriarch of House Carnelle
  8. Union of Carnelle & Varoche It is with great pleasure that we announce the matrimonial union between Henri Dante Carnelle An Equyer of the Golden Oak and Acolyte of the Faith & Lucrezia Varoche A Lady of most noble candor and blood In a matter most formal, we hereby proclaim the joyous news of union. With a humble sermon, the souls of His Lordship Henri of the Baronial House Carnelle and Her Ladyship Lucrezia of the most storied House Varoche were joined as one. It is said they exchanged rings within a small parish church on the outskirts of our most glorious Imperial City of Rittersberg. Thus was marked the first day of their devoted service to one another as husband and wife. As the roots of this merry union sprung, so did the fruits. For the youthful House Carnelle welcomes its newest generation. A blessing made twice as we proclaim the birth of two boys at the nearing end of the year 642 of the Tiberian calendar. Great was the joy in the twilight of that year and greater still the promise of years to come. Therefore, we confirm their names of these sons of Carnelle: Raymond Marcel & Dante Felipe First to come was Raymond, strong as a stag with a rich head of brown hair and beautiful green eyes. His identity was not to be disputed for he holds the signature looks of his father and mother. A powerful cry he echoed and so the physicians, wise and sound, claimed he will make a strong warrior one day. His name holds reason as Raymond is a true Lothrinigian name granted to him in honour of Duke Lothar IV of Lorraine and Marcel is the name of his father’s maternal ancestor Count Marcel of Auvergne to honour the length of his bloodline. Second was Dante, his looks were identical to Raymond’s, but Dante was smaller. His face was that of a philosopher and his cry was soft, but also very sudden. Perhaps the boy will make a fine statesman. That we shall wait to find out. His name is equally storied for Dante is the name of Henri’s father, a studious man with an appetite for knowledge whilst the name Felipe is the name of the founder of House Carnelle, the diligent first Baron “Progenitor”. A N I N V I T A T I O N F O R B A P T I S M It is in our intention to invite those who may find interest in this ever so special matter to witness the baptism of both Raymond Marcel Carnelle and Dante Felipe Carnelle. With that said we invite the following Houses and their pedigrees alongside our family and friends: Imperial Majesty, HADRIAN I, Emperor of Man, and his Imperial Retinue His Princely Highness, MARTIUS I, Prince of Blackvale, and his Princely Retinue His Princely Highness, CASSIUS I, Prince of Myrine, and his Princely Retinue His Royal Highness, EDWARD II, Archduke of Alba, and his Royal Retinue His Grace, LOTHAR IV, Duke of Lorraine, and his Noble Pedigree The Honourable, JEAN-BAPTISTE I, Viscount of Joyeuse, and his Noble Pedigree His Lordship, ANTONIO I, Baron of Rosalervo, and his Noble Pedigree Don Niccolo di Rosavena e Montelliano, and his Noble Pedigree Lord Mayor of Rittersberg, Sebastien Jean-Chastel A L L C I T I Z E N S O F T H E E M P I R E O F M A N His Lordship, Equyer of the Golden Oak, Henri Dante Carnelle Her Ladyship, Lucrezia Varoche-Carnelle
  9. The Tide of History Before your eyes stands a proclamation in form of apology directed at His Imperial Majesty HADRIAN I And at all whom it may concern. A S P R O C L A I M E D B Y The Humble Subject, The No-longer Countess Palatine of Trau, Viscountess of Valaqua and Baroness of San Giulia, Eleonora Ysabel of the House di Trau To the Emperor, Lords, Ladies, and the common folk of the Imperium, It is incredible how far one decision can bring a person, and then cause them trouble at a later date. Such a fate I experienced with the cursed marriage to my no-good, though sadly lawful, husband. After the untimely death of Count Adonis of Stirland, Godfrey and I were called upon to serve as the next Count and Countess. This duty I wished to fulfill to my fullest potential, but it was denied to me relatively soon. I was young, misguided, and lost when my father-in-law, Peter Rovare, insisted that we abandon our posts as the rightful rulers of the land. I was naturally hesitant, but my husband was not. At that time, I was already with child. Fearing abandonment and disgrace, I chose to follow, not wishing to bring my child into a world without their father. Left with no choice, I accepted. This choice ended up spiraling into me waking up one day a Princess, then Countess Palatine, Viscountess, and Baroness. I was showered with attention and a better standard of life, but this I did not seek. I always wanted to serve my post; that is why I was granted, by Peter, the titles of the County Palatinate of Trau, Viscounty of Valaqua, and Barony of San Giulia, as thanks for my construction and organisation of what was to be the Jewel of the Shore, Southspire. But all was in vain when the Peterian army began to crumble like stale bread, and the food itself turned stale, and perhaps even Peter himself turned stale. Fueled by delusions of power and meaning, the man ruined my life and family in the long run. As for my husband, when we moved to the Horde, I began to wait for him, but he never came. I never saw him in person again, never. I was abandoned and alone, with only my infant children, in a foreign land, estranged and lost. He did not die; he very much was and still is alive, but he had chosen to cast me aside, clearly growing tired of my existence. I ended up living my worst nightmare, a nightmare from which I shall never truly recover. But I remain hopeful that God’s path is one of wonder, and perhaps there will be something which will redeem and cleanse my soul of pain and guilt. For this, and for all I have aided and done, I apologise wholeheartedly. All titles and privilege I have ever possessed, if commanded by Emperor Hadrian Primus, may be destroyed, but if he chooses otherwise, I beg of him to keep them by his side, so that one day perhaps one of my nephews or relatives of the loyal House Carnelle, which I foolishly abandoned and disobeyed, may take them as their own, as a reward for serving His Majesty if he so pleases. Let them not stray from the true path of humanity. As for myself, I shall seek inner peace. Perhaps, if the Church decrees it, I shall divorce, and if permitted, I shall join a sisterhood, for my duties as Matriarch are no longer required. Once more, I beg forgiveness, for I bring shame upon Horen’s race, my lineage, and my blood. The Humble Subject of the Imperium, Eleonora Ysabel
  10. [Henri’s Personal Arms] Reading the missive young Henri Carnelle raised a brow. Several questions floated across his vibrant mind, but all the answers were the same. Gennad lies! But, Henri was impressed. Why didn’t his ancestors lie? Perhaps there was power in lies, he thought. And so it was concluded. Henri Carnelle rose in support for Duke Gennad “of Akovia”.
  11. And so Henri Carnelle for once in his life finally begged God. That his ambition would match the one of his Liege, Sir Lothar d’Amaury. That he could perhaps at least be a footnote in the man’s life and doing.
  12. Eleonora’s Survey [An illustration of the Northern Marches of the Realm] Hereafter are set forth the passages drawn from the lived account of Her Royal Highness, Princess Eleonora of Beleth and Eicheria, presenting her passage through the Northern Marches, a harsh and dangerous borderland of the realm. THE DAY OF DEPARTURE In the quiet of the night, deep within the Gwendolen Palace, the Court Surveyor HRH Princess di Trau was packing her necessary belongings for the perilous venture ahead. An agitated expression laid on her face, no words were uttered, but much was thought of. All kinds of what-if scenarios ran across her mind – some she enjoyed, some she did not. An unnamed servant carefully entered her chambers: “M’lady the carriage to Perduran is ready.” he calmly delivered as Eleonora turned around to face him. With a jestful smile she quietly responded “It is a miracle that we deem that road safe, good man.” adding more “Last thing we want is some Imperial hound interrupting my tasks ahead.” What was life without risk? She thought as the two crossed the Palace bridge, stepping foot into her pride and joy Southspire. Sure the streets were barren and much was still under construction, but the Princess was more than proud of her work “Some could say I’m only the Lady Mayor of Scaffold… in truth they are rather correct. Even I fail to see the city tucked behind all this work and masonry.” The servant mindlessly nodded as he opened the door of the royal carriage, but the Princess simply went by it and threw her bags over a horse, which she simply untied. “Best I travel alone, without tugging this shiny piece of red oak behind me. Do tell his Royal Majesty of my chosen style of departure.” Before the man could even say something, she kicked the horse with her heels and the beast scurried forward leaving only a trail of dust and dirt behind it. The journey to Perduran was ahead, but it turned uneventful, the real venture happened after crossing the bridge west of the seat of House Grisblood. Eleonora took note of the surroundings, a small village of three homesteads was spotted on a small hill. On that very hill she chose to set a temporary camp as the Sun was setting over the red rocks and dry grass. THE FIRST MORNING As the Sun rose, so did the Princess. Sporting simple trousers and less formal clothing then usual she made her way towards the eastern mountain overlooking Perduran and the borderlands of Kurai-Kuni. Climbing each rock and stone she spoke to herself “Court Surveyor!” she huffed “Very funny Peter, quite a jest really… ****…” taking a sip of water from her flask she spoke again “Sure I’ll build you a whole city, plan each street and wall. Why not! Those are totally not the jobs of a Court Architect, yes, yes. I will gladly climb rocks near enemy territory. Maybe you should go kick rocks alongside me…” as her honest rambling continued her eyes spotted a strange structure. Unsure of what it was she ceased talking. Stepping closer it was made clear that either rouges, bandits or even darkspawn had dug themselves deep into the mountain. That location she simply marked with a skull on her papers. That very skull would be reused again – tomorrow. THE SECOND MORNING The next day Eleonora awoke at the same time as she did the day before. Tired from the climb she chose to first note the footpaths of the region. Most led deeper into the mesa, but the two others which she deemed the most important were the ones leading out of it. The first of those was a cobbled path of a medium size leading towards Kurai-Kuni. She sat on a small rock in the bushes near the path making a rough sketch of what was in front her. Perhaps constructing some sort of fortification near this path could benefit Beleth in the war. This was just a theory, one which she would certainly discuss with the Diarch-Indivisum. Another interesting path was the one to the north-west. A large clif covered the path whole. It reminded her of Aevos, specifically the city of Numenost the Fair which was built on very similar terrain. That path and location she dubbed the “Great Gate”, not the most original name, but one which could stick around. Resting a bit near some strange anvil shrine she concluded that there would be 5 more hours of sunlight. Said 5 hours and an hour more went by when she finally returned from the northern mountain noting down a potential bandit camp of sorts (also dug into the mountain) perhaps the two mentioned lairs were somehow connected. She couldn’t know for sure, but still wrote that possibility down. Arriving back at camp she lit a fire to keep herself warm and aware of her surroundings. This time she couldn’t fall asleep. What looked like eyes were staring at her from the dark. Sounds of serpents and wild boars were heard. THE THIRD AND FINAL MORNING Before the sun could rise, Eleonora had gathered all of her letters and belongings. She mounted her steed once more and on top of it she spent at least 2 hours, hoping that nothing would strike at her. As soon as the Sun creeped over the Princess struck the horse swiftly. Information was gathered, the Northern March was explored in proper detail. The following is a letter penned by HRH Eleonora di Trau in regards to her venture North. The Northern Marches of Beleth A S P R O C L A I M E D B Y Her Royal Highness, Princess of Beleth & Eicheria Countess Palatine of Trau, Viscountess of Valaqua and Baroness of San Giulia, Eleonora Ysabel Julia, of the House di Trau To his Royal Majesty Peter I, Diarch-Indivisum of Beleth, I write to provide information in regards to my task of surveying the Northern Marches of the Belethian Federation. After spending some time in this wilderness I have procured a map which points out what is ours and what is not. Additionally, I must warn you that despite the region being rural it is ridden with possible bad actors ( e.g. Bandits, Rouges, Imperials in hiding and Darkspawn). Even though this may not be my field of work I would strongly advise sending scouts and even some knights to inspect the danger which could be hiding there. Once everything is properly investigated we can swiftly begin settling the region or even fortifying it. Finally, the wildlife is also mysterious. I am afraid I lack the insight to provide necessary information in regards to the flora and animal kingdoms which may roam the Marches. Perhaps things will be made clearer once a proper foothold is established. Your input and opinion about the manner in which I completed my task is always appreciated. A response would be most dignified, if it would please your Majesty as well. Sincerely - your daughter-in-law, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Eleonora Ysabel Julia di Trau Princess of Beleth and Eicheria, Countess of Trau, Viscountess of Valaqua, Baroness of Giulia, Matriarch of House di Trau

  15. How fierce the weather was on that particular night, And how the whistling wind was causing a fright. The aging baron who had long since retired Was quite ill-prepared for what had transpired. On his shoulder, he felt the cold touch of death, In the comfort of his home would he draw his last breath. he wind howled loudly through the window in the baron’s chamber. The sky outside was dark as tar, with only a few lucky stars glowing through from behind the patchwork of clouds. Even the moon, graciously shining each night, had chosen to hide away this evening. The only light which illuminated the room was that of the dying fireplace, crackling hesitantly. The baron tossed and turned in his bed, his eyes unwilling to shut and drift off to sleep. They darted from the skyline of the Petrine capital outside, to the weak, crackling frame, then to his dog, laying on the bed beside him. Nosewise Federico IV (friends call him Nosewise), the animal which had become his closest confidant in these trying times. For a few short moments, the dog returned his gaze, staring at the old man as if confused. Then, the hound got up, hopped off the bed and made its way to the half-open door. “Et tu, Nosewise?” The man’s weak voice spoke out, head turning to look at his pet. The dog pried the door open with its snout and exited into the hallway, the sound of paws tapping against the floor growing more distant. “Truly, my search for true loyalty continues even in my last months…” he let out a sigh at the animal’s blatant betrayal. Just then, the wind howled again. The baron turned his head towards the window, annoyed expression painting on his face. Grunting, he pressed his hands down onto the mattress and pushed himself up to a sitting position. Breath getting heavier, he turned, legs swinging out over the edge of the bed. With a laboured, sharp inhale, he delicately hopped off, floor creaking under his weight. Finding himself stumbling, Felipe grabbed onto the nightstand, saving himself from falling over. He felt lightheaded as his legs shook and immediately reached for his reliable cane. Walking stick now in hand, the man let go of the nightstand and began to tiredly trudge over towards the window. Once there, he rested a hand on the windowsill, leaning forward to observe the streets outside. He saw not another living soul standing out there, other than one man. The figure was sitting against the wall under one of the lanterns, scribbling something in a thick notebook. The baron’s eyes were drawn to the large moustache this young man sported. It seemed familiar in a way, but… His contemplation was interrupted by a loud, obnoxious cough- he shut his eyes as he moved to cover his mouth with his hand. When they opened again, there was not a trace of the man. Felipe grumbled something under his breath and gripped the knob tightly, shutting the window with a quick motion. He turned his back on it, glancing around the room carefully. The tapping of his cane against the floor echoed across the mansion once again as the baron approached the fireplace all the way on the other side of his chamber. He bent down and grabbed a piece of firewood, lifting it with great effort, his wedding ring illuminated by the flame. He chucked it into the fire, or more accurately, it fell out of his hand and managed to land inside. The fireplace begins to crackle again, fed with new fodder. Satisfied, Felipe next made his way to the tall bookshelf. He narrowed his eyes at the neatly arranged rows of books, trying his best to scan through the assortment of titles. One title, around the bottom rows, seemed to catch his attention. Promptly, he reached out to grab the tome. It neatly slid out of its designated spot and ended up in the old man’s hands. The baron’s eyes widened as he observed the cover - the book was adorned with the visage of a familiar woman. Long, curly, chocolate-brown hair, bright, hazel eyes and a soft, grinning expression. “Julia..?” he mumbled a name under his breath. In that moment, his eyes grew blurry, his head spun and he felt himself losing balance. Felipe grabbed onto the cane tighter - the tome fell out of his hands. After a minute of rest and a few deep breaths, he managed to bend down and pick up the book, but the cover was no woman - rather, it displayed old, Burgundian architecture. He stared at it for a moment, then quietly put it back in its place. The baron went back to skimming through the list of titles on the bookshelf and eventually chose - some old historical fiction novel that he hadn’t read in a while, graciously resting on the very top row. He reached up to take it out from its spot, but he couldn’t quite close the gap. He stretched out higher with greater effort, and just as he was about to grab the book, Felipe stumbled again, beginning to fall backwards. In an effort to save himself, the man grabbed tightly onto the bookshelf, holding on for dear life. The bookcase began to tip over alongside him. In a matter of seconds, each book began to slip out and fall onto the ground. A few tomes came flying at him, knocking him down on the hardwood floors with a loud thud. The bookshelf followed suit, thudding even louder as it crashed down on the old man. Struggling to breathe, too weak to pull himself out, the baron could only call out for help. “Ezio!” “Dante!” “Amelia..!” “Nicholas…” “J-Julius…” A S P R O C L A I M E D B Y The Lord, Baron of Rosalervo, Felipe Dominique Joannis, of the House of Carnelle I, FELIPE DOMINIQUE JOANNIS of HOUSE CARNELLE, hereby with this document do declare the fate of my line and the succession of the title I currently possess alongside all of my accumulated wealth and belongings. The will of God has forced my hand to declare my eldest great-grandson, Antonio Vicenzo Carnelle, the rightful holder of the Barony after my passing, when it finally comes. Fate had it that my only son, the sublime Julius was taken away too soon and that my eldest grandson battles with sickness regularly. Thus my hand is forced and such decisions must be made for the betterment and integrity of the noble baronial house Carnelle. FURTHERMORE, In the case that I, Lord Baron Felipe, pass before my heir, the young Lord Antonio Carnelle, reaches the age of 16 the Barony is to enter into a regency. Those involved must work in the interest of the family and not themselves. Those who break this rule I shall curse from my grave and may God’s justice show itself to you in whatever forms it deems itself necessary. And so the members of the regency are as follows: Ezio Julian Carnelle, who will assume the titular position of “Lord Regent of Carnelle”, Baroness-Consort Eleonora Rovare of Eicheria, Felipe Aimone Carnelle, Baroness-Mother Margherite Carnelle and Countess Amelia Reinhold of Anairgrid. The regency shall end when the new Lord Baron Antonio reaches the age of 16 according to Petrine Law. I GO IN PEACE, AS I’VE GIVEN ALL I COULD. Antonio of Rosalervo. @Neder THE LORD BARON, Felipe Dominique Joannis Carnelle Baron of Rosalervo, Patriarch of House Carnelle
  16. Eleonora held the letter in her hand as she read it slowly, murmuring key words - mostly the ones involving her "Another soul taken too soon. Think of the children..." she would pour herself a glass of wine "So faith had it, I'm a Countess-Consort... grandfather must be proud, quite proud." Taking a sip of the wine she would stand up and leave to find her husband Godfrey to discuss their future as new Count and Countess of Stirland.
  17. Yes, we are always looking for players especially on map start
  18. Casa carnelle Recruitment - Child Players Introduction to the house: Unlike some noble houses which descend from lines ancient and old, the Carnelles have only recently been ennobled. This is mostly thanks to the house's founder, Felipe Dominique Carnelle. His motivation for this climb in society was rather simple, to provide a safer and better life for his commoner family. The ambitious and diligent man he was, Felipe managed to convince the Petran court and at the time Archduke Therin I, admittedly after much work and struggle, to award him a simple title. That of Baron of Rosalervo. To the now old and fragile Baron, this may have been enough. But, to his children that most certainly is not the case. For the Carnelle ambition grows higher and higher generation by generation. Real life and fictional influences: Carnelle takes influence from houses such as de Medici and Borgia and fictional characters such as Tony Soprano and Peter Baelish due to their characteristics. Our inspiration is found in Italian, Spanish and French cultures because of their complex medieval histories. We enjoy making morally questionable characters who may or may not be redeemable with all kinds of goals and aims, but most importantly our characters, similar to the aforementioned cultures, hold a strong sense of family and unity. Driving players closer together in all kinds of events, glorious or tragic. The Model Carnelle: Carnelle Men: Rarely muscular, the Carnelle man is usually of average build or skinny in their youth. Their hair colour ranges from black, brown, blonde and at rare times ginger. Their facial structure is well defined. Their eye colour is mostly green, blue and at rare times brown. As they grow older an average Carnelle almost always grows a moustache. Failure to do so is seen as borderline tragic. Internally they are ambitious, possibly eccentric and charismatic. Carnelle Women: Wearing elaborate dresses and jewels, they are not afraid to show off. Similarly to the men they have the exact same eye colour, hair colour and body shape. They are equally ambitious, but may even be more cutthroat than their male counterparts to achieve their family and personal goals. Additionally, they tend to break the mold and do things differently if need be. What you can expect if you play a Carnelle: Intrigue, scheming, planning and expanding your power are just some of the most memorable extracts of actions and traits of house Carnelle. On an individual level you can expect family events, education and character building RP alongside being potentially betrothed to someone you may or may not like in RP. Such is the price of dynasty building. On a higher level, the whole family is involved in plans and progress. Additionally, we don’t shy away from “untraditional” characters. If you wish to play a blind, deaf or possibly even mute character we are all for it. The more unique it is, the more real it feels. Not every single noble on LOTC has to be Prince Charming from Shrek, sometimes we need some Lord Farquaads. Art and selling in general is a big part of the Carnelle lifestyle. The house was in fact elevated to nobility due to both of those things. On the technical and character making part I am willing to assist fully and possibly provide a skin. Current characters needed: Senior Landed Branch A union that is yet to be formed between the Heir of Rosalervo, Vicenzo Carnelle and Margherite Rosavena e Montelliano. Both male and female children are required. Ideally 3 or 4 of them would be more than enough. If you take this option you can expect a more illatian style of roleplay. This line will live in the Archduchy of the Petra and will have the opportunity to become politically and socially involved with the other nobles of the realm. Carnelle-Auclair Branch Formed in the recent union of Dante Carnelle, brother of Vicenzo and Amalia Auclair, eldest daughter of Lady Viola Auclair. Only one more player is required to ideally play a sister to the already established Henri Carnelle (Currently 2 years of age), son of this branch. The aesthetic and style of the RP will mostly be inspired by the Auverginian (French), but there will still be some illatian culture present as well. Rovare-Carnelle Branch A marriage is yet to come between Godfrey Rovare and Elonora Carnelle. This cadet branch will possibly be given a baronet or a barony. If you are interested in the concept of ruling this may be the best choice for you. We are looking for 2 or 3 players in this branch. The naming inspiration and culture is a mixture of Italian, German, English and also French. If any of these options intrigue you, or you wish to speak with us. Reach out to @Croangutanon discord

  20. Lord Carnelle held the letter near his eyes, the green in them had started to fade recently. Felipe's face frowned then smiled, then frowned and smiled again as he read the note. At the end his face of worry and sorrow became one of pride and joy. With tears in his eyes he murmured to himself "I knew it..." He was especially focused on the last line in the letter. Soon the letter found itself in a frame, mounted on a wall near his desk. The man was honoured, proud yet humbled at the same time. And this event he wished to preserve and remember.
  21. A Letter From , Lord Felipe Dominique of House Carnelle, son of the Trueblade Joannis, First Baron of Rosalervo and loyal servant of the Archduchy of the Petra and therefore the Apostolic Kingdom of Numendil, do hereby send my call to all brave knights, trueblades, sellswords, and levies seeking to gather under a righteous and honourable banner. By this writ, I seek a company of proven blade and firm oath, men and women who carry the weight of discipline, loyalty, and strength in the cruel art of war. Let no criminal nor craven answer, for only those of sharp sword and sharper honour shall be considered worthy to defend us. Let it be known that House Carnelle prepares its arms for challenges unknown and trials yet seen. To that end, I desire the services of a mercenary company, whether small or great in number, to be contracted under just term. We shall offer fair coin, provision, and shelter within the walls of Castle Carnelle. Those who would heed this summons may send a representative or rider to Rosalervo, there to discuss terms. Bring with you your banners, your record, and your oath. May GOD guide the brave, His Lordship, Felipe Dominique Joannis Carnelle First Baron of Rosalervo "By Beauty, We Prosper"
  22. Felipe carefully read the patent, his eyes remembering the shape of every letter. A sense of pride and victory washed over him. The man poured himself a glass of wine and proclaimed "A day to remember, a victory for my children and their children AND THEIR CHILDREN!" he took a gentle sip, staring at the statue of his late wife. Felipe raised the glass and silently declared "Thank you, Julia... Thank you."
  23. Nikolas, House Stafyr Recruitment for the Inner Family of "The Peacock" 1. Who is The Peacock? 2. The Wife 3. The Legitimate and the Bastard 1. Who is the Peacock? Nikolas Stafyr is the second eldest son to Lord Symon Morris Stafyr of the Viscounty of Falkenstein. Despite his position of prestige and wealth Nikolas had a strange childhood. He was taunted and provoked by his adoptive brother Sir Silas Hart and the boy spent much of his time with an older man by the name of Felipe, the Falkenstein Court Painter. The adoptive brother received high praise for his martial and brave actions whilst the young Nikolas chose to devote his time to splendour and the pleasures of life. Now approaching his 32nd name day "The Peacock", a nickname which he gained for his arrogance and rich way of dress stands without a wife and wishes to seal the knot. His eyes carefully ignore the potential bastards frolicking around Aevos, until now. 2. The Lucky Bride - Wife In the eyes of Nikolas Stafyr a wife should be of a noble line and posses good looks. Unfortunately for him centuries of marriage alliances tend to ruin this combination. Therefore, he will be forced to take a noble lady under his wing, no matter her looks. A list of his basic needs and requirements conjured by his advisors states the following: Must be of Noble Blood, no matter the rank. Must be of child-bearing age. Must abide by the rules of the Cannoist scrolls. Must be loyal to her husband. Mustn't be a criminal or a fugitive nor a heretic as stated before 3. The Legitimate and the Bastard Trough his troubles throughout the continent of Aevos, Stafyr blood flows without knowledge of the masses. Caring little or caring almost not at all "The Peacock" doesn't remember the mothers of such illegitimate offspring. Though realising he lacks heirs he has employed "a moustache twirling gentleman" who he trusts the most to locate his bastards immediately. Only GOD knows who may he bring back home to Falkenstein. If you are interested contact @Matzavason the forums or ideally contact him on the discord ( f1fis) ( He also goes by Φίφης ). This could be a great RP opportunity if you like a more dark and morally grey Noble House roleplay. P.S. To all of you forum roleplayers, this flier is nowhere in the world. It is just a digital information board for the interested. One can't call a Stork in rp to order him babies and children duh. Peace! P.S. 2. To be clear. The part about finding the wife is visible to all. So have fun. Sorry if this is a mess, this my second ever proper forum post.
