Contingency [Combat] - When near death, a Telekinetic Atronach can expel the remaining mana in their core completely, exploding into hundreds of pieces of jagged shards of their plating which fly in every direction. Such an attack can be deadly if one is unprotected against its wrath. Mechanic Redlines. why cant telekinetic atronachs explode when they die unlike ALL the other types? who knows. This amendment will hopefully fix the first to words of that question of "why cant" by saying "they can" so I also had a bit of fun and made the plates exploding being what causes the damage, and different kinds of plates having different effects (someone asked why I added glass, and I said because people are crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if they made one)

I'm only really gonna poke this part. Most spells are either equivalent to mundane stuff, or take way long enough to be stopped by someone before it is casted. Also I'm just gonna throw in this little system Realsamler gave me when I started learning magic that he (I think) figured out based on existing magics 64 mana pool T5 cost: 32 T4 cost: 16 T3 cost: 8 T2 cost: 4 T1 cost: 2 T5 shifting costs 9 mana (5 in obelisk) I lied I'm also gonna poke what Primnya said here. Voidal mages CAN use sword up to arming which were the standard weapons of the roman army (I think) for a very long time. And they can also use slings which are incredibly powerful if you actually read the lore and I'm pretty sure short bows too. Basically, there is a pretty decent list of things mages can do other than magic.

Let them hope that some groups can get lairs if they REALLY need it without being the bbeg for a bit before squawk shoots them.

Very little on a world wide scale of happened other than dragons attacking. The nations though are being very boring when it comes to big stuff going on

The day was slow and peaceful as the wandering ice giant roamed upon the back of its horse, through the frozen wastes of the north into the heat of the geyser lands and the halfling village Lisselroke. When the creature rode into the town it spotted a large Olog descending a nearby cliff onto a fleeing man, cloaked in dark robes and running for his life. Once the frozen creature was spotted the man picked up his pace and so the chase began. Fleeing south into the forests of the Viridian Enclave as the orcs Magmaxe swung and shards of ice flew from the mounted giant, the man continued to flee via the river towards The Empire where he believed safety must await him. Finally a hailstone landed, causing enough pain for the Olog to catch him and drag him to the rivers edge where he was bound by chains of ice. “Why did you run” “A giant man lifts a axe at me when I’m traveling without weapons or armor. . . The hell you expect me to do??” “Take it like a man” the creature mocked “what is your name valah” “Uhhh its is uhhhhh. . .” he thinks for a moment “Baldric, yes Baldric” Understanding the clear lie the creature asks “did you forget your name?” “Indeed I do, I did get a lot of smack on the head” the man continued to lie. “Come with me” After being relieved of the burden of the several sacks of steak and little mina the man carried he had found a chance to flee again as they prepared to drag him back to Lisselroke. Another much shorter chase later he had fallen too weak to continue from the pain of several landed blows and exhaustion, eventually drowning before he was able to be pulled out of the river. Returning the corpse to the halfling village the ice giant points to the man, frozen shard of ice and cold mists forming around his hand for a moment before being launched at a terrifying speed through the man's skull, simply ensuring he is head before leaving to inform the citizens that the bandit has been slain. The follow note is left around Lisselroke to warn the halfling inhabitants of potential danger

I used to prefer more general human guard type of RP but ever since I got my first magic anything that doesn't have at least 1 CA, FA, or MA, or the goal of one of the three are boring for me. Idea, skin, name. (Or name then skin, depends on my mood) Run in circles, swap to another character, or a while back I would make a bandit character and go stir up trouble. Pretty good, thanks for asking. Don't make so many bandit characters, just reuse the same one. I've found out that I have quite the talent for CAs and TAs, and often have no idea why people complain about them so much. And sometimes I feel like during RP or crp I'm pretty slow or short with my emotes, or in RP I will sometimes go like an hour of just not emoting and mostly watching stuff happen. I'm not usually sure what to say with questions like this, sorry. This is quite the can of worms that I will only be cracking open. Mostly stuff about how nations and wars are run but I cant pick 1. Probably but also probably not. He would chuck he would as much as he could and Chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
