    Bethina returns to the Cloud Temple, to see if the man got anymore than twice what he paid her. As she reads the rising bids, she begins to cry. All the portraits she could have bought, all the presents and gifts for her family and friends, with the money the man will receive; for her bow. She decides not to become angered, and decides to confront the man, to see if he will lend her any coins, to buy a portrait for her beloved Neri.
