Ash walks up to the petition and, without thinking, signs it. "The homes of many?" He hears Garth's speech, "Pah, rubbish! You've allowed crime and misery to plague your streets for too long! What is your personality like?: Mercurial, all over the place, questionable What are some strengths of yours?: I'm very well rounded in many fields that might be expanded upon, but can easily smith weaponry or armaments for the guild. I'm also one to negotiate or debate, given that I'm well-informed on the topic. What makes you different from others?: That's a very vague question, what do you mean 'others'? There are others that apply here, and I don't know what they might be like, what they do, how they approach this form. People in the world, on the other hand, have had their moralities twisted and darkened. Instead of just walking along with the crowd, scornfully cursing under my breath, I called these people out. I called out the whores who would cheat on their husbands, the men who would murder the innocents, the thieves who would steal the possessions. No, I didn't just let it happen, nor did I tell the authority, I yelled and ranted on about, telling everybody to look on in shame at what their lands have become. Why should we accept you into the Order?: Iunno. I'm an all around person. It's your guild, I'm not gonna coerce you into forcing me in. That defeats your entire creed and moral code. Oh, that too. This. Right. Here. I couldn't have said this any better. Though I understand that the economy cannot introduce iron too quickly, this is just absurd.

Ash laughs at nearly every posting on the board, especially the last of them "My, my, this is the best I've seen in quite a while. 'I'll free you and make you my heir', out of the pot and into the frying pan as they say..." He re-examines the first post, then looks at the bids again." "Discrimination here is unmatched, I must say. A woman is put up for auction, and everyone wants to play hero. A man is put up for auction, and everyone turns their gaze. I say, shame on us. Shame on us all for caring more about if we die alone rather than caring for the life of someone in need of rescue. Shouldn't their happiness come before our own?" He spits on the note before writing a reply, pretty much detailing what he just said on it.

Personally, I don't care for the berating of Admins and Moderators on any server. But the public is right; it's not just to call people out just for stating their own opinions when opinions were asked for in the first place. When you take a position of authority, whether that be a moderator on the internet or a leader of a nation, you have to take responsibility for what happens. People have the right to judge your performance, to criticize it. The comic "Doonesbury" isn't banned by the United States government for poking fun at political figures. That comic is simply poking fun and, more importantly, stating opinions on certain authority figures. Of course, threats are an entirely different thing, but berating someone because you're upset with them is a right as a citizen, or in this case, as a member of these forums and of this community. EDIT: Though, I don't think this is the forum for this now. I realize now that things have gotten off topic. On another note, congrats to Jroy and Rhia on their GM promotions!

*Ash strolls through the Cloud Temple when he comes across Gwonam and co. He ponders for a short time on whether or not to join them, but decides to anyways. However, before he can begin speaking, a piercingly excruciating headache comes upon him, crippling him to his knees. Veins pulsate from his beating forehead, his skin grows chalk-pale, and his left eye turns from a light, emerald green into a darkened violet-red. Before the transformation can complete, Ash begins to argue with "himself" in the depths of his mind. "Oh, fantastic, it's you again. Why are you here anyways, all you do is make mischief and cause headaches." He stabs at the voice repeatedly, seemingly annoyed with it. "Look, we don't have time for this game. I did some stuff, you di-" "Yeah! You did plenty of things! You've tried to randomly beat up and scare away my friends! You've gotten me hurt more than I ca-" The 'voice' begins to grow as annoyed as Ash "As I said, I don't have the time for that. Something's sapping from my power, big time. It looks like it's-... AARRRGH!" At this point, the physical Ash stammers in his kneeling position, struggling to keep a firm standing. "What? What's draining your power? You actually had power to begin with?" "Well, I know for a fact that at least two Enders that we've interacted with have left this plane. And since we use planes for a source of power, whenever it's used for something such as transporting something or someone for a period of time, it brings our strength down a bit. Yet now, I'm picking up something else... something strange, something that's draining my power even-" The sentence is cut off, and the voice is replaced by an eerie silence. "Ark? Ark!?"

Personally, I had fun with the villages and all. If the land wasn't so permed, it would have been a bit better. Also, when people complain about being No-RPed, that's almost definitely the wandering souls who had no idea this was an RP map even with me screaming at the ones who were PVPing and trying to explain the server. So Liri's idea of getting rid of the Wandering Souls is probably the best idea. For the people that didn't like it, you don't exactly have to go back and play it again, even when it's more organized. And you guys were also the ones complaining for the temp map to go up. With the idea of "stop working so hard on a temp map and work on the old one", I'm not sure on this, but it looks like the tech team is split almost half and half, and when the temp server goes up, those techies that worked on the temp server can just go right back to working on the main. Honestly, if you're given something, don't just flat out say it's absolute garbage. Just leave if you don't like it and wait for the regular map to come back up. EDIT: This server was for our benefit. It was so we had something to while the server was being worked on. Why should we complain if things didn't go so well or if the server got shut down? Oh, and I did find Alantopia, nppeck. It was better than a bunch of cobblestone mines.

I think THIS is why they spent so long on the map.

I took a skin or two off of Minershoes, y'know, like the generic ones? So if we play on the temp server, I'll be roleplaying in one of those two skins.
