Along side Morgrim walks the elder Bazian, using his axe now as a cain being fatigued from the battle. When they stop, Bazian reaches for a flask of ale and takes a swig, quenching the thirst he long had. Leans towards Morgrim and says... "Ah 'ave said it befer 'nd ah will say it again, t'ese greenskins 'ave no 'onor, t'ey can nevah beh trusted! T'ey 'ad un rule fer t'ese foightins' 'nd t'ey cannae keep t'eir word. The night air was stale as Bazian drew breath from coming undergound. Shrieks still came from the forest down below, always at night. Looking over to his apprentice, Grim, he begins to think if this is a wise choice, endangering him like this. "Come now Grim, weh leave t'er th' forest." The pair sets off from down the mountain, for a second time that day, as they where hunting not too long ago. They approach a tower that has long stood their from before their time. The two discuss what the purpose of such a tower could be. They climb down the spiral steps of the old, forgotten tower, back out into the tainted forest. Bazian and Grim fight their way past the netherspawn to a hill. They scale this hill and find a circle of stones resembling Stonehenge. Around the perfectly cut stones, there where four pillars, each exalting a tree upon its shoulders. In the middle, there was a tall tree, with scarring up and down it's trunk. The two cautiously approach the center of the ring of stones unsure of what this place is. "T'is place, t'is tree.. sumt'ins' not right." "I t'ink your right Bazian, look at this tree. Something like that ain't natural." The pair looks around the area when they find a ladder leading up a tree. Bazian sends Grim up the tree to see what's up there, as he cannot do so in his old age. Grim shout down that it appears as if someone was living up there, but it must of been sometime since they where around. This news does not settle well with Bazian. A loud squeal is then heard out of no where. This alarms the pair and they head straight back towards the circle of stones. The night has lifted from the forest, but there is still a think mist covering the landscape. The both reach the center once again. They where shocked to find the scarred tree set ablaze with fire. They stood there and watched the flames die out but they could not find a single scorch mark on the tree. A rush of exhaustion came over Bazian, and he was forced to rest by the tree's trunk. Grim too felt an urge to sleep, but he was able to resist the temptation and stood awake. Although Bazian being older and a less able physical state, he slowly nodded off into a deep sleep. All of a sudden, noises could be heard all around them. Sounds of squealing came from the bushes. Grim tries to get Bazian awake, but to no avail. The noises grow louder, the stench of rotten flesh engulfs the area. Grim then slaps Bazian awake. Bazian, still in a dazed state gets up from the ground. The beast squeals again. "'ey, whose out there!?" Bazian yells. "Git out 'ere 'nd show yerself! Bazian heads back to the tree and begins to chop at it's trunk. The beast gives out a loud squeal! He begins to hack harder at it, as he does this one of the four pillar explodes in a ball of fire! "Grim come 'elp meh wit' t'is tree!" Grim comes running over and begins to hack at it one the other side. The second pillar explodes in another ball of fire. The two chop at the tree with all their might. "...You trespass on sacred ground..." The Beast groans at the pair. A third explosion comes from a pillar, burning the tree that was growing above it. "That's it! Jus' a little bit moar!" As the forth pillar explodes, the Beast come out from the forest, wrenching in pain. The Beast comes running out of the forest, right at Grim. Without hesitation Grim gives out a mighty war cry and charges right back at him. Bazian was parially covered in rubble from the last explosion, making him inable to help with the fight. In the end, Grim came out victorious. The pair chop down the scarred tree, believing that's what caused the forest to become tainted. Grim sets the land ablaze with fire using his flint and tinder. Bazian throws on the logs, apples and saplings. Anything that came from the tree must be burned. "By th' might ov Urguan, ah command yah taint t'er beh flushed out ov th' land t'ough th' penatraitin' fire frum th' burnin' ov t'is evil tree." The Clansdwarves head back to Kal'Anart, feeling stronger and closer together.

*A shriek echeos through out the mountain on which Kal'Anart stands. Bazian awakes in a cold sweat, the forth time this week in the night. Drowsy, he works his way up the tower. Leaning on the railing he peers out unto the forest, like many nights ago, to see what makes such a screech.* "Damn..." *Bazian whispers into the cold, stale night air. The forest doesn't look flora and fauna, but it has become something more sinister. Through the foggy mist below, creatures of the unliving could be heard with their various groans and snarls. Bazian grabs his axe and descends the mountain to investigates these terrors from the forest. Jumping the last feet to the foot of the mountain, Bazian surveys the area only to be covered by a thick layer of fog. He tightens his grip on his axe and proceeds into the forest. The sounds of beasts can be heard closely as if they where breathing down your neck. Sweat runs down from his bald head and settles in his white beard. Out from the fog, a sound came as if something began to charge. The squeals this beast made where loud and ferocious. Bazian planted his feet frimly on the ground and held his axe up, preparing for impact. Bazian lets out a battle cry and took his first swing. To his amazement, he hit nothing but a tree that was not two feet in from of him. He pulls the axe from the sturdy oak and looks around to see where this beast had fled to. Not a sound was heard, no footsteps and no squeals. This did not settle well for Bazian. He begins the trek around the mountain back up into the Hold. Bazian knew something this vile needed to be put to an end. Once he got back up in his Hold, he begins to write a letter. After Bazian puts the seal of the Grandaxes on the backing, he sends a lad off to around the Hold to display this message. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meh fellow kin! T'ere beh ah forest most sinister wit' many ah beasts wit'in' it's woods. Weh mus' destroy t'is forsaken forest, weh mus' purge t'is evil t'er t'ere very roots! T'is forest mus' beh purged wit' fire. So ah ask yah t'er come 'elp meh purge t'is forest, so t'ese demons can beh removed frum t'is land! Come lads, grab yer axes 'nd flint. Weh sent t'is forest ablaze in un elven day! If yah wish t'er 'elp put yer name below! ~Bazian Grandaxe -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*During one of his travels to the cloud temple Bazian stops and notices the elf pinning the letter on the board. Bazian quickly reads it and then runs after the elf* Wait lad! *Catches up with the elf and begins talking to him.* If yah are truely lookin' fer a place t'er settle down, meh hold in the north beh lookin' fer sum lumberjacks t'er supply wood fer trade. T'ere beh ah guild run by meh brot'er in arms, Longbeard, fer lumberjacks. Yah will beh paid fer yah work 'nd 'ousin' beh available.

Out-Of-Character Main Minecraft Account Name: TEEbrown Alternate Minecraft Account Name: grey_oracle In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is: The act of taking on another role to the extant where you are fully indulged in that life. You become the person, in game, that you roleplay as, and then you build upon that person's life as if you are living it yourself. That being said, you must adhere to how you think your character would react as if it happened to you in real life. That perspective has always gotten the best roleplaying experience. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: The concept of "Meta-Gaming" is the act of taking information that your character does not or cannot know and using that information to benefit yours or other characters. This act is a serious offence and can result in a strike or even a ban depending on the severity of the act. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is the act of making your character stronger than he actually is. These acts many not last long, but it completely disrupts the roleplaying environment when you see a halfling bind an orc in a matter of seconds. These instances mainly occur in battle situation where pvp is not being used. Such the term Power-Emoting arises, because these battles mainly use the emote command. In-Character: Character Name: Grubby the Goblin What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!): I will be playing an orc subrace, goblin. What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I will be playing the goblin subrace. These creatures differ from Orcs in very distinct ways and also seem to be an underplayed subrace, so I figured I'll try to give them a little boost. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Grubby's life started out in a small goblin settlement nearby the great sands. Life was pretty simple back then, living among all the other goblins through the village; fighting with them, learning from them, just growing up with them. Grubby never really knew his parents. When he was born, he was thrown in with all the other newborns and he was raised by the village rather then parents. Until the day came when large orcs from the Krughai came to take away all the younger goblins. This is when Grubby first knew pain. They marched day and night, barely resting for a few minutes, just to march some more. Their numbers began to dwindle as some of the weaker goblins died off in the desert. Some of which where Grubby's friends. Grubby began to think it was all the village's fault. How could they give us away to the Krughai when we are still small. Grubby could trust no one anymore. Such betrayal as this burned in his heart. Once at the Krughai training camp, they began work on training the goblins. They hardened them into killing machines with destructive tendencies. After months of working at this camp, Grubby stands a full 3 feet tall bout at an age of 15. He sets off in the world of Asulon to better the Orc warlords and their range of influence. What are your Character's ambitions?: Grubby seeks to please his orcish warlords in anyway possible. If the warlords are happy, then its more likely that Grubby would be rewarded in some form or another. Grubby is greedy like most goblins, so he seeks treasure that he stashes in his secret stash. Grubby doesn't trust anyone but himself, ever since he was young. Grubby wants to be big and strong like his orc cousins, but this can never happen because of his tiny stature. So he tries to please his larger brethren in any way possible. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: Grubby isn't what you would call "smart". He is a generic goblin in the terms of most games that you would find goblins in. He has some unique characteristics in the fact that he is interested in learn which is odd for a goblin as they are usually pawns for their orc counterparts. But this will most likely come later as his roleplay continues depending on what happens throughout the game-play. Open-Response-Questions Answer at least three out of five listed! Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: Grubby would hide in the nearby bushes, waiting, for the halfling to give up his minas and allow the two warriors to go on. After the main predators have gotten away with their rewards, like a scavanger, Grubby will jump out of the bushes. With an evil looking grin, Grubby puts a small blade to the halfling's throat, and orders him to get up. Grubby will then take the halfling back to the Orc overlords, which he will graciously give up as an offering, hoping for some sort of reward. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?: Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Grubby will cautiously approach the abandoned building making sure no one was around. His cautiousness and carefulness gets taken over by his greed for gold as well as his curious habits. Once inside the house, Grubby darts for the chest, as he is very impatient. Opening it up he jumps for joy, making lots of noise, for he has found an abundance of treasure in his eyes. After he calms down a little, he gathers the gold sword and the iron bars and heads for the door. All of a sudden, he hears a noise in the woods. Could just be a stick falling from a tree, but Grubby doesn't take any chances. Almost as an impulse he yells, "Dere mine, ya can't have it!" He runs back towards the chest, jumps inside of it, and closes the lid. He will wait in there for hours until he know the coast is clear. Opening the lid slowly, Grubby smiles and jumps out. He celebrates once more, but this time, with all the tension still in the air, he gets a little carried away. Grubby's destructive nature begins to show. He begins smashing the windows of the house. He flips over the chest and jumps on top of it, holding the gold sword above his head shouting, "I am da greatest ov da Warlords!" Grubby starts hacking at the walls with the sword. The sword hits a nail and produces a spark. Unbeknownst to Grubby, that spark ignites the toppled chest and begins to burn. Grubby takes a few sniffs of the air and notices the fail, toiling its way up the sides of the chest. Excited and scared Grubby leaps off the chest and runs out the door, almost burning himself alive. Grubby looks up at the burning house, in shock, and watches it burn to a smoldering ash. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Grubby smiles a bit and offers his help. He tells the guard that he has a few other "friends" that are willing to help fight with them. He will the proceed to head to the Orcish Warlords and tell them of this event. While this town summons the guard, they will leave their town completely undefended giving a perfect time for an orc raid. The raiding party amasses at the gates of the town. The orcs charge in with great ferocity, none of which the townspeople expected. Women and children run in terror. After the larger orcs have had their first of the onslaught, Grubby joins in chasing around small children and grabbing whatever he can find. As a young goblin he is not quite able to do a majority of the things more experienced ones can do. Grubby rummages through house after house, usually breaking through windows even if there is a door present. During these raids, Grubby's destructive nature comes in full form. After the raid, Grubby goes and hides most of his loot in a hidden area, where no one else knows but him, as he doesn't trust anyone, even his own kind.
