-=(The Dwarven Navy)=-
The Dwarven Navy is a selection of Dwarves who prefer the high seas or amphibious assault Although this may be seem different to the legion we are only a sub part of the legion and it is from the legion where you join the navy.
Within joining the Navy will learn many vital information in regarding how to keep the steam engine running, how to work siege weaponry upon a ship and how to raise sails. There will be two branches that will form the basis of the Naval. One will be the Naval Seamen and then the Dwarven marines. Each personal of each branches will learn the vital information and then specialise even further into their branches.
The Naval Seamen are required to run the mighty Dwarven steam ships and keep them running Training will involve a further depth into Dwarven Steam engineering aboard ships and how to steer such a mighty vessel. The Dwarven marines on the other hand will have training on how to lead and take part in an amphibious assault upon a port or what ever it may be.
Each and every member will be treated as the Legion and will be free standard legion equipment and naval equipment per elven week. Accommodation will be made whether that will be the barracks within Kal'Ithrun or at the docks.
-=(Naval Ranks)=-

Pridebearer - Highest rank obtained by honour in the naval and the legion. A pridebearer will be the most senior position under the Naval Officer and will usually be in charged of a single ship or a marine force within the Navy. If Officer is on deck the pridebearer will take control of the steam engine and relay between the Officer's Orders to the men working the engine.
Ironbreaker - A veteran soldier within the navy and the legion. Usually a more experienced Seamen or marine and can be tasked to train up Stoneguards or Grunts to make them fit for duty. In a abset of a Pridebearer, the Ironbreaker will take charge.
Stoneguard - Serves as a stand marine or naval seamen that has proved themselves in training to acquire the rank of stoneguard. They generally know what they are doing so they work on the engines and the siege weaponry. If in the marines they will be a simple warrior.
Grunt - Lowest rank in the marines or navy as they yet have shown to prove themselves or attended practice to become a stoneguard. Much skills need to be learnt.
-=(Training)=-
Basic Training - Basic training will consist of three basic aspects of naval seamen. They are being able to have basic knowledge and how to run a steam engine aboard a ship, being able to use siege weaponry on a ship if needed, which will be taught by the siege officer. The final basic training is to be able to work a sail if needed. All will be taught by the Naval Officer, Pridebearer or Ironbreaker.
Naval Training - After grunts have completed basic training and have become stoneguards they will either choose to be apart of the Navy or the marines. Naval training will consist of an more in depth, training and knowledge of the steam engine aboard a ship and how to steer such mighty Dwarven vessels.
Marine Training - If Grunts choose the marine side of the Navy after getting Stoneguard their training will be very tough and harsh. The training will consist of how to work as a unit very well, how to conduct sheath or fall right attacks via amphibious assault onto a dock/port or a coastal town or city. The marines are the best of the best and training will be vigorous and difficult.
-=(Duties)=-
The Duties of the Navy are very similar to what of the legion. Each seamen or marine will be required to do duties each week.
Ship Inspection - Each seamen, not marines will be required to look over each ship and check for hull damage, stow a ways and to check if the steam engine is running. This is to insure our vessels are well looked after and are in top ship shape condition.
Patrol - Marines and Seamen will be tasked to patrol around the docks to check if there are no enemies of the Kingdom and to check if there are no spies or saboteurs that will damage our mighty vessels. On finding of such un-recognised personal on the docks. You must keep them detained and arrest them and bring them to the Naval HQ or Kal'Ithrun where they shall be integrated by a senior legion official. Crew apart of ships will be also tasked to scout out the Dwarven seas to see if there are any enemy vessels approaching our lands.
Normal Legion Duties - Apart from Naval duties, you are still classed as part of the legion and still will be tasked to manage gates in the cities and the docks if needed.
-=(Shipwrights)=-
A selection of Dwarves will be appointed to make such mighty vessels when needed. The boats will be constructed in the docks. The supplies will be supplied by the Kingdom and the Yemeker's Pick Workforce. on completion of a vessel the shipwrights will get paid a certain amount of money depending on the ship. NOTE : Shipwrights may only start construction of ships if approved by the Naval Officer.
