MC name: Name:
  6. -=(The Dwarven Navy)=- The Dwarven Navy is a selection of Dwarves who prefer the high seas or amphibious assault Although this may be seem different to the legion we are only a sub part of the legion and it is from the legion where you join the navy. Within joining the Navy will learn many vital information in regarding how to keep the steam engine running, how to work siege weaponry upon a ship and how to raise sails. There will be two branches that will form the basis of the Naval. One will be the Naval Seamen and then the Dwarven marines. Each personal of each branches will learn the vital information and then specialise even further into their branches. The Naval Seamen are required to run the mighty Dwarven steam ships and keep them running Training will involve a further depth into Dwarven Steam engineering aboard ships and how to steer such a mighty vessel. The Dwarven marines on the other hand will have training on how to lead and take part in an amphibious assault upon a port or what ever it may be. Each and every member will be treated as the Legion and will be free standard legion equipment and naval equipment per elven week. Accommodation will be made whether that will be the barracks within Kal'Ithrun or at the docks. -=(Naval Ranks)=- All requirements to get specific rank and uniform is on legion page Pridebearer - Highest rank obtained by honour in the naval and the legion. In a abset of a Pridebearer, the Ironbreaker will take charge. Stoneguard - Serves as a stand marine or naval seamen that has proved themselves in training to acquire the rank of stoneguard. They generally know what they are doing so they work on the engines and the siege weaponry. If in the marines they will be a simple warrior. Grunt - Lowest rank in the marines or navy as they yet have shown to prove themselves or attended practice to become a stoneguard. Much skills need to be learnt. -=(Training)=- Basic Training - Basic training will consist of three basic aspects of naval seamen. They are being able to have basic knowledge and how to run a steam engine aboard a ship, being able to use siege weaponry on a ship if needed, which will be taught by the siege officer. The final basic training is to be able to work a sail if needed. All will be taught by the Naval Officer, Pridebearer or Ironbreaker. Naval Training - After grunts have completed basic training and have become stoneguards they will either choose to be apart of the Navy or the marines. Naval training will consist of an more in depth, training and knowledge of the steam engine aboard a ship and how to steer such mighty Dwarven vessels. Marine Training - If Grunts choose the marine side of the Navy after getting Stoneguard their training will be very tough and harsh. The training will consist of how to work as a unit very well, how to conduct sheath or fall right attacks via amphibious assault onto a dock/port or a coastal town or city. The marines are the best of the best and training will be vigorous and difficult. -=(Duties)=- The Duties of the Navy are very similar to what of the legion. Each seamen or marine will be required to do duties each week. Ship Inspection - Each seamen, not marines will be required to look over each ship and check for hull damage, stow a ways and to check if the steam engine is running. On finding of such un-recognised personal on the docks. You must keep them detained and arrest them and bring them to the Naval HQ or Kal'Ithrun where they shall be integrated by a senior legion official. Crew apart of ships will be also tasked to scout out the Dwarven seas to see if there are any enemy vessels approaching our lands. Normal Legion Duties - Apart from Naval duties, you are still classed as part of the legion and still will be tasked to manage gates in the cities and the docks if needed. -=(Shipwrights)=- A selection of Dwarves will be appointed to make such mighty vessels when needed. The boats will be constructed in the docks. The supplies will be supplied by the Kingdom and the Yemeker's Pick Workforce. on completion of a vessel the shipwrights will get paid a certain amount of money depending on the ship. 14. OOC: Minecraft Name: greener161 RP: What is your name? Clan Elder Odin Ireheart What rank are you in the Dwarven Legion? Stoneguard 3rd What position do you hold in the Clergy? Initiate, studying Dungrimm Your age and affiliation in the Dwarven Kingdom: 60 and Odin is a clan elder of the Ireheart clan, legionnaire and butcher! Why should you be chosen to enter the Brotherhood (At least a paragraph long)? Odin is a very passionate dwarf towards dungrimm and the other gods of the Brathmordakin. He has shown great respect to Dungrimm already because of his Ireheart trials, meaning have to pray to Dungrimm and take an oath under dungrimm's statue in the clergy area with Kal'Azgoth. Odin wants to do his bit to honour the Brathmordakin and bring heretics of the Brathmordakin to justice and bring them back to the only good faith in Asulon! Hopefully by joining the botherhood and doing the High Prophet's work Odin will have a good death and hopefully Dungrimm and the other Brathmordakin will give him a good afterlife. Odin will do anything to please the gods to earn respect from them and please the High Prophet
