The Guilds of the Horde “The Horde is nothing without its collection of tribes.” Grommash the Hordespeaker Below are the detailed accounts of the various guilds, collection of tradesmen and practitioners within the Horde. The Great Camelvans of Lurak In recent years the Urukim of Lurak and their surrounding settlements that make up the Horde have profited greatly from the inception of the camelvans. Originally conceived by the Hobgoblins of the Taunttongue Clan, the Camelvan and its trade has become a vital wealth lynchpin of the Horde and the Urukim of Lurakgoi. Camelvans are often ran out from Lurak and Heavensward to the nations across Aevos. The merchants of the Camelvans are always looking for more wares to sell and strong Urukim and members of the Horde to escort them across the continent. The leader of the Camelvan Guild is known as the Karavandum. A word deriving from caravan and dum meaning responsibility in Old Blah. The Lodge of the Spirit Walkers The Shamans of the Horde are a close knit community of Urukim that speak on behalf of the spirits and wield their power. Shamanism is rooted deep within the Orcish culture which now extends to the other members of the Horde. Across the Horde various shrines can be found dedicated to various spirits. If one seeks advice, wisdom or teaching then a shaman is never too far away. In recent years, the shamanic brotherhood has seen a rapid growth, a resurgence of Orcish culture some scholars state. With each passing day shamans are becoming more prominent figures within the Horde. Even if you would not wish to become a shaman, they are always looking for champions for their pacted spirit. When called to Council the shamans elect a proprietary speaker known as the Motsham. In the old tongue this means ancient, a link to shamans typically being the eldest in Orcish communities and wiser depending on the Orc.... The Alchemists of the Hou-zi It wasn’t long after the addition of the primate humanoids, the Hou-zi, into the Horde that the people benefitted from the alchemical expertise of the Hou-zi. Revered alchemists of Aevos, the Hou-zi had perfected alchemical practice and produced a string of unique sub-strains of alchemical potions. Recently the Hou-zi has established an organisation known as the Shuyuan, the Academy in the common tongue. Its aim is to teach the people of the Horde and allow for a steady influx of alchemical potions to the collective nation. Teachers within the Shuyuan are referred to as Shengxian. The Spire of Trade Located at the crossroads of the Desert, Heavenwards is a member of the Horde and a bastion of trade in the South. Embedded within a rock spire, Heavensward offers a collection of shops selling a range of items. From weapons to pets, Heavensward has you covered. It is encouraged that if any man or woman of the Horde has wares to sell that they do their trade in the trading hall of Heavensward. The leader of trade and Horde Chieftain at Heavensward is referred to as Trade Prince. The Redskin Forge Lurak was built and purposed in mind for the expansion of Orcish blacksmithing. For years the red skinned Urukim of the Ragluk clan has pioneered blacksmithing within the Khanate of Lurak, now known as the Horde. Weapons perceived as crude by other races the Ragluk Forge has produced many suits and armour arms for the Krughai. More recently, production of the forge has increased ten fold due to the war. Now is better than never to seek apprenticeship within the blacksmithing community. The head of the forge is typically known as the Anghgoth meaning Forge Lord in Old Blah. The Bloody Pursuit A revered hunting guild within the Horde, the Bloodfang Pursuit is made up of elite trackers, beast-slayers, and spirit-bound hunters who dedicate themselves to mastering the wilds. They revere Votar, the Spirit of the Hunt, believing that every chase is a sacred trial, and every kill is an offering to the Spirits. Not a year goes by within the Horde where a grand hunt isn't scheduled by the Huntsmaster. The Krughai The standing army of the Horde is known as the Krughai, a collection of warriors, its namesake dating back hundreds of years. The Krughai are known for their brutal yet honourable combat prowess. With the inclusion of other tribes into the Horde, the Krughai has grown recently to encompass these new warriors. In recent years training has increased tenfold due to the war. The head of the Krughai is referred to as the Targoth. The Taunttongue Griots The griots of the Hobgoblins welcome all Uruks, Goblins, & Ologs to embrace the tradition of poetry both spoken & written, of fashioning ornaments from slain enemies & hunted quarry, & the documentation of heroic deeds both in books & upon constructed obelisks & stelae. One should have pride in one's speech & the daring to mock & demoralize enemies in battle while uplifting & inspiring other Urukim & our allies.

A Pact of Blood and Servitude Urzok appeared within the spirit plane of Gazigash, a swamp of bone, blood and flesh. A twisted landscape of the Spirit Gazigash. “I call to you powerful one Gazigash. Master of blood, bone and flesh!” The wind howled, carrying the scent of rot. The winds whispered to Urzok. “You wish to claim our power? What makes you so worth young mortal!” Urzok glanced to Kaal, his spiritual teacher beside him. He nodded before proclaiming his words towards the great and powerful spirit. “I am young and have much to prove and learn. I shall make myself worthy to your powerful one. I shall learn. I seek to teach my tribe, my brothers. Use your power on those that have wronged my kin!” The blood around Urzok began to bubble and ooze, bursting hot liquid ichor over him. “You want our power for yourself!? What do we gain by accepting to lend you our blood!” The spirit exclaimed, the landscape shuddering with every word spoken. Urzok tensed and cried out, “A devoted servant. One with much to prove. Constant reverence to you!” The bubbling intensified and soon a head appeared, then torso and soon a whole skeleton stood in front of Urzok. Inside the ribcage a beating heart leaked blood, which flowed heavily filling the swamp. “We have many servants. We want something else. A Champion. One who will spread our faith to the realms, one who will recruit more warriors to the faith of Gazigazh. Is this a task you can accomplish!?” Urzok cursed to himself, his poor choice of words. Perhaps it had offered too much to the spirit. He was in too deep now, the blood filling up more. “Power in blood, bone and flesh. I offer my service in blood in exchange for your power!” Gazigash grinned, a cackling laugh echoing in the swamp. “Then pact to me, Nargazh, lesser of the flowing blood under Gazigazh. Become our champion unto the mortal plane. Spread the faith and serve us well!” The immortal raised his hands towards the Lak as the path he had trod filled with even more blood soon reaching the Uruk’s kness. “I pact to you powerful one!” Urzok screamed out! A service now given in exchange for power. He wasn’t soon after he was cannonballed back to his mortal shell. “Well zkah…”

From Below They Came Tremors have recently been felt through the cavern city of Lurakahn. Miners deep within the earth have been hearing chattering noises and the rapid beat of insectoid wings. Despite the warnings, the Urukim continued to work, hammering away at the earth. The more the city expanded the closer to the caverns below they reached. It was one fateful morning that the creatures revealed themselves striking at the Urukim unaware of the pending threat. Shouts of warcry and screeches of insectoid horror echoed throughout the cavernous expanse of Lurakahn. Urukim from their hovels and work stations flocked to the disturbance, grabbing whatever implement they could as a weapon. As seasoned fighters the Urukim were, they were not expecting an attack from within. The battle was quick and fierce, the insectoids now revealed to be large beetles with thick chitin carapace. The Urukim fought hard but ultimately had to lose ground and surrender a portion of the city to these cavern dwellers. A portion of the city is now quarantined and the insectoid threat contained for now. Strange how the creatures didn't advance further perhaps a foreboding insight to whatever is controlling these beasts. Plastered around Lurak you will find a missive. BEWARE SONS OF KRUG TARRASKAN BEETLE INCURSION STAY VIGILANT

THE FINAL WORDS OF A PRIEST Balianese painting of Cardinal Teodosio of Tyria enjoying a goblet of wine Dear Friends, I suppose if you’re reading this I have passed away and now find myself now within the Seven Skies. My health has not been the best in recent years and I spent more time cooped up within my farmstead than doing any duties expected of my position and rank. For that I deeply apologise and hope in my passing you can see I meant no ill will in the neglect of these duties. I was a young man living within Atrus when I joined the Priesthood of Owyn and I never expected to achieve what I had. I only wished to serve GOD, and it has been an honour to serve as Cardinal, Bishop and Vice Chancellor of the Church. There’s only a few things I wish to address in this passing note. To the people of Balian, Continue to trailblaze a future for yourselves. Build on a legacy that has been forged on years of dedication by your Fathers and Mothers. As a young man in Atrus I found myself in a precarious nation, a nation that didn’t quite understand what it was. I believe now that this is not the case and growing older it has been wonderful to see the growth of the nation and especially the growth of Canondom within it. I forged many lifelong friends with the people of Balian, unfortunately most of them have now also passed. I think ultimately that’s what binds Balian together is the friendship and love for each other. I don’t quite believe there’s another nation within Canondom with such unity for each other. Thank you all. It was a pleasure. To Canondom and the Church, As I mentioned previously I never quite expected to find myself in the position I eventually obtained and I thank the peers alongside me that made my duty easier. I hope in my passing someone else from the Church can take up the mantle of running the Church Gala as I took up that mantle from Cardinal Katerina before me. To Canondom as a whole I feel over the past decades great efforts have been made and cooperation between our nations is everso growing stronger. I hope these efforts are not all for nothing and that GODs covenant remains stronger together. Again I thank you all. I must admit as I sit here writing this note it is hard not to get tearful at all. There are so many memories, events and friendships to record down on just a single piece of paper. Maybe one day someone else will write about me… Ha or even open a tavern in my name. I do like my wine. As a final note just remember… Enjoy life, have fun, love each other and remain ever virtuous. Yours Faithfully Teodosio Cardinal Tyria.

THE CHURCH GALA The 4th Gala of the Mother Church In the name of God, The Mother Church wishes to announce the forth Church Gala within the city of Kanunsberg for all of the faithful flock of Aevos to attend and engage with the festivities. The theme for the event will be centred around St. Tylos of Kalden, patron saint of stonemasonry, cavalry and lost causes. Majority of the events will take place outside of the Church of the Holy Auspice and within the festival grounds just outside of the city. The program for the night will go as the following: THE WHITE STALLION’S JOUST (3pm EST) In the spirit of St. Tylos, patron saint of cavalry. The Church will be hosting a joust in his honour and veneration. The winner of the event will earn the prize of a white stallion. THE STONE’S CRAFT (4:00pm EST) It was said at the siege of Reza the saint laid his cloak over a small pile of rocks and the next morning after a night of prayer they had turned into a pile of large stones. As patron saint of stonemasons, the Church calls forth the finest workers of stone in Canondom to display their craft outside the Church. THE EVENING BALL (4:30pm EST) The festivities will conclude with a ball within the castle of Kanunsberg. The theme will be that of a white stallion to symbolise the steed St. Tylos appeared on. Thus the theme is white. The best dressed will earn a 50 mina prize. His Eminence Teodosio Cardinal Tyria.

Cardinal Teodosio was out visiting Aaun when he heard the news. He struggled to find quick safe transport back to Balian. When he returned it was all too late. For a man who is always quite resolved he broke down in tears upon returning to the city. He walked to the Church and sat in there for hours praying for his dear departed friend. "You're with GOD now my dear friend. Up in the Seven Skies."

The Cardinal wonders if she will post him some fine delicious Ba'asi wine he grew accustomed to whilst on an educational visit years ago.

Teodosio thinks to himself that this has already been discussed within the members of the Curia. "Patience is a virtue", he mutters to himself reading the missive. -
