You are regular people with a mindset that are like vampires, according to your guild leader. BUT there are no Vampire race in Aegis so you can't go refer to something that is not there. It's very much like Meta-gaming. I have nothing against your idea, but call it something else. It's like someone calling himself Legolas upon a server application, which is strictly forbidden. This should apply to guilds and cities/locations as well (thinking about Winterfell for example).

The Academy is coming along very well. We are starting to run out of some basic materials in form of cobblestone. Any donations would be highly welcome. Also, Zyn, regarding those books and bookshelves *winks*. Mr. Ebs, we should decide on a place to have our library. Since you are our head librarian right now, I thought you would decide on that one. I do have some ideas that I would like to share though. We will very soon have a "first council" meeting, where the current staff members goes over all current applications. Not as I see it in Aegis. Dark Elves in Aegis is not necessarily exactly as other Dark Elves in other fantasy worlds and lores. If anything, Aegis Dark Elves should have eyes that switch to different moon shapes, based on the current moon, but I think that is pretty far fetched.

+1 Well written. I am all for proposing new lore to the game, but it should be proposed in the "Suggestions"-forum before actually throwing into the game. I do not doubt DeadCthulu is a good RPer and I salute his initiative. But my point is mostly that new ideas should be unique to Aegis and LotC. Cthulu and Vampire stuff are not unique.

Yes, the "I use the same/similar names as others, and I have no creativity or imagination" -thing starts to go abit too far.

Also, as I say to the vampire guys: USE YOUR OWN UNIQUE WORDS. There is tons of stuff on Ctuhulu already. If this ever goes through, come up with something unique. That way it might in the future, become approved. Also, make this GM write in here so we know it is true :P

Good going Vaq! I can't stand all those who say 1.8 sucks due to some tiny lag and want to go back to 1.7.3. Be happy the GMs do the work they do and stop whine just cus it lags a small bit. 1.8 is the best patch that happened to MC and the Dev Team are doing what they can. BE HAPPY!

Same point I gave to the vampires (even though I think they have thought it over now and is good): this does NOT fit into the lore of Aegis. Put this idea up onto the lore forums, have a GM going over it and see it getting denied, please, before trying to start a guild for it. Also, you have to make a Sunken City in game before being able to talk about it like it is there.

Great idea Zyn. I like the concept of field trips. Those should definitely be used by teachers in most subjects/curricula.

Wolfie, there is no headmaster. Currently, us working on the academy is merely managers and administrators, we are not professors teachers or headmasters. We have to apply for those positions as much as anyone else. The council (once things are starting) should have teachers who then elect a headmaster and co-headmaster. The first council we managers can elect to get things rolling. Councils will have elections every once and a while.

Thank you for your application Silent Drayzont. We will come back to you when the academy is built and finished. Speaking of the academy, we have started to build the complex in the city of Aeriel. Of all the offers we got, we think Aeriel suits us the most. The city is not very central, but we can possibly make this city quite important due to the fact of us being there. With that said we are looking for architects to help us with the building. We can't accept anyone to help build since it might become chaos with too many. But those who have experience in architecture and indoor design, please give me a heads up!

Wolfie, we should not speak with even more people. I think we talk to Native, see if he can set aside a good plot within Malinor. If not, we go with Aeriel. Ebs, have you gotten us permissions so we can start to build in Aeriel?

Uhm, I don't get what this is coming from. I never said anything about bats or anything like that. What I am saying is that this is not really lore friendly as it is right now. I can go say I suddenly grow fur, get cat like vision and start to act like a cat and become the highly wanted cat race, but I can not, because creating new races aren't very allowed. But yes, you say this is merely a mindset or a physical disease. To that I would say: change the name of this and leave the term vampire and be creative enough and come up with something else, that would be more unique to the lore of Aegis. I never intended to flame. I see you merely flaming back to me right now. I'm just trying to get a hold of what you guys do and as I got it, it is not lore friendly when calling it vampires. I do highly like this venture you have, I can't say otherwise. BUT be creative and try to name it something else than vampirism.

Great first thread. Was interesting to read it. Be ware though, spying and assassinations are quite "unnecessary" in Aegis, but might catch up a small bit with Badlands and possible new race tensions. Keep it up though!
