  1. Well I don't have Malin or Urguan. But I have drawings of Emberhard and Barias Cladheart! Thats pretty close because they're both pretty sexy!
  2. Morik Cladheart has dressed up as a gentle-MANLY elf who drinks strong whiskey and sports a fabulous mustache and cool overalls. A lot of power and string ties went into hiding his beard and white horse hair was used for the wig and wax to make the fabulous mustache. (I will dissapointed if you dont get the reference to emberhard)
  3. I know this is back in Anthos but I really am happy to see everything I founded Barbek hold on as Barias Cladheart was preserved until the very end (And have a place in the history thread of the dwarves, especially the architecture and the longhouse. Sadly being the origional founder and sole builder of Barbek, it was sad to "let it go" as life started to move quicker than I could manage to keep running Barbek as the jarl. But thank you Mansfield for doing what you did.
  4. *A large parchment of paper is posted at the Cloud Temple, large bold words are written along it to grab a readers attention out of the smaller lettered advertisements posted around it.* I am looking for tomes of blacksmithing and blacksmithing recipes of any kind, I am willing to trade with gold, Lapis Lazulli, redstone, emeralds, and a fair sum of minas (500 minas to trade with). Please post your offers below and a way to contact you further. ~Morik
  5. Morik is behind said armour making. So much amour making.
  6. I live in a wolf age and a wind age, in which no man will spare another. My father used to tell me about the undead when he was among the White Ravens in Aegis when I was only a beardling. He told me the world was touched by evil in the way a snake slithers through the tall grass of a field. How even some of most righteous can succumb to evil and blind those who follow them as I clearly remember the image of a ragged scar that crawled along his lower chest. His try at creating peace among people was fruitless; evil nipped at his back at every chance. I and my kin knew these stories, and if it is not the undead we would eventually face as my father had told, it will be fellow men on the battlefield or in our homes. I, along with my brothers and sisters had set sail for the ocean to the mainland, seeking to mend what my father could not. This is where we set upon Icy shores and split into two, the others were to seek an very old friend of my father with a lame eye and overalls by the name of Emberhard. While I along with two of my brothers, Kilgirn and Torgrim, gathered our share of belongings and headed for the Dwarven Capital. My father never told me my they would leave me behind in the city in search of their own land to claim. My father never told me I would bleed for this city at the hands of these "Ironborns" ...Or that the undead DID return Casted away in defeat and agony aching at my flesh with what remnants I had left, a shamed son cursing at the gods like a mad man. But my father never told me this... That I would befriend the dwarven king. That I would be forging the same armor for the king's rising army that my father did so for the White Ravens against the undead the first time. I started this journey with my brothers and sisters, hope and courage in my heart but my father never told me this... That I would be making this journey alone... I am Morik Cladheart, son of Barias Cladheart and fellow brother to Kilgirn, Torgrim, Dwin, Aesa, and Aetta, and this is MY Lord of the Craft
  7. *Barias scrawls upon the parchment of paper, a grin across his bearded face.* Mc Name: Corndoggeh RP Name: Barias Cladheart Gift: A book of Jewelery Smithing
  8. (( What, no history of the White ravens? Former WR seal of DISSAPROVAL
  9. *Barias Cladheart is see walking amongst the center of Kal"Ithrun, a grin painted across his face as his boots clack on the hard stone, rolls upon rolls of thick parchment tucked under his arm. He begins to post them along the main areas and the tavern with a sticky slime. On the contact information for the parchment of paper, the names of Emberhard and Ol' Treehugger have been covered with a note on each "Contact Barias Cladheart of Barbek Hold to purchase ales as Treehugger and Emberhard will be unable to handle the sales at this time. We also offer a new micro brew for sale, ask about it!" http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/94308-embertree-brewery/?hl=embertree
  10. I like all of it except this one gripe I have. Why was the brew effects time so drastically reduced? I barely have time to look at the effects, let alone be able to do anything with them for them to be of ANY worth to me to use and very little use for trading.
  11. I don't have time for this. Why... Why would you do this to me?
  12. (( Is this for all holds and cities in the kingdom or just Kal'Azgoth and Storms Crossing?
  13. (( Sad to see this happen to my hold but I don't know any other dwarf that would be a better choice to run Barbek other than Doom, I hope you do well and keep the relative idea I had for Barbek. But education comes first before all else, I'm sure though that I can meet you IC so it can atleast be sealed ICly as well between Barias and your character. *As Barias paces towards the solid wood gates of Barbek Hold, an eerie calm seems to envelope throughout the Hold. Adjusting the ever-so sapphire and gold coat around his belt, Barias pushes past the front gates, the familiar smell of the towering oak trees surround him, a large knapsack tied around his shoulder and waist. A parchment of paper pinned on the door frame of the longhouse catches the corner of Barias' eye as he shifts his attention to it, pacing forward as he gazes upon the seal of the grand king. Reading it over, Barias can't help but let out a saddened, disgruntled sigh as he nods, he expected such a thing to happen after his long absence. However, Barias feels a sense of agreement that the Hold will be in better hands of another as his other duties outmatch the need to run the Hold. Sidestepping his way to the doorway and pushing the door open, Barias walks inside to the long table and sits on the edge of the bench to the right of the small thrown, awaiting for the new Jarl to enter so that they may speak. Removing a medium sized copper flask, Barias uncaps the top and takes a hard swig of Emberhard's dwarven cut whiskey, the smooth and golden brown liquid rushing to his lips as he engulfs the aroma, waiting for the new Jarl to enter.*
  14. (( I am assuming were in the throne room if this is being proposed to King Thorin)) *Barias Cladheart takes a step forward, adjusting the metal clasped belt around his blue and gold coat, his helmet gleaming under the light fixtures as he begins to speak in a calm, friendly tone to the men.* If ye'h are lookin' fer w'at ye'h say ye'h are. I am more 'den welcoming ye'h ta' Barbek 'old. Me 'old 'as plente'h ov' land fer ye'h ta' settle 'omes an' famile'hs togethe'h in peace. D' farms be ov' th' largest in th' Kingdom ov' Urgaun an' produce th' most bountife'h ov' crops. We be onle'h watched ove'h ba'h Storms Crossin' an border th' orks; yet nae 'ave 'dey eve'h caused ene'h trouble. Ye'h may send word ta' me further if ye'h wish ta' come ta' Barbek.
  15. Its not only the forums, its skype and teamspeak that I go through and listen to events. Storms crossing is NOT ready for war. As I recall there are still very little seige weapons on the top of the hold yet (And I was just recently ingame to see it), along with Charles_Grimlie I believe wishing to have the walls curved to help deflect catapults, trebuchets, ballistas, and to slow down seige ladders/towers; A technique that I very well know how to build as I and Boingy built the walls of Holm in Asulon to be curved for such a thing. Now could Storms Crossing takes its beating and dish it back out? YES. But Storms Crossing is yet to be fully battle ready. Concerning Barbek being very accessible. Yes it is and I've been working in trying to fix such a problem, most of it is because people climb the mountains into Barbek and gate signs, even while locked, are still able to be opened by everyone. I believe I just need to update the gate designs as Barbek wouldn't be considered much of a "fresh" hold. But a combination of outside events and trying to build a design have slowed it. If I could have some players pitch their designs to me I can try and work off of that and make it look even better if need be. And it seems both Storms Crossing's region and the "Elder tree" elf settlement have both interfered into my regions, so its even more difficult on my part. On the part of encouraging dwarves to return underground. Not all dwarves enjoy the underground. My character, while very indifferent on above ground and below ground cities, would rather live above ground. Its an IC preference and it really shouldn't be decided OOCly on what to do about holds because I am sure I am not the only one that has a character that enjoys above ground just a wee bit more than underground; and forest dwarves live in forests above ground, and Barbek was supposed to be the Hold that housed them in the mushroom forest but alas there are so very few forest dwarves.
