fleshing out my comment cause it was made in 3 seconds

Liquid preservation reads like a way to circumvent the age curse, much like tawkin klones, but a lot easier to produce. I'll say this is my favorite out of all of them, vat tanks are cool. some more downsides might help, like making it so players cant choose to wake up whenever they like, leaving the potential danger of being trapped in eternal sleep.

Vivification concoction feels useless, as a player can burn the corpse or hide it, but im also biased ab alchemy bloat.

spectral solution is just temp vivification and i can see it easily being abused with the mass production capabilities that alchemy has. should probably remove this one.

death dispersion acts as an inverse to blight potions. its a decent idea, sorta like a gaseous null arcana, but theres a big chunk of spooks on the lt and i can see them not liking a potion that handicaps something as general as 'false life'. clarifying exactly who this affects could help.

im not an lt, only giving my personal thoughts, but i hope this helps

Any feedback helps, thank you for taking your time. If you do want to continue the conversation on discord i'm more than willing to discuss. Evo_#0001

I'm can take the liquid preservation and add more things to it be negative or positive. Could have the eternal 'sleep' or even temporary sensory issues when awoken (eg, blindness). I made it so players can 'wakeup' so they're not force stuck in a location.

You can indeed burn a corpse or hide it for Vivification concoction. The idea was to not do that, especially with important figures to ones character (like a child) and having them protected. Plus having a way to feel 'bliss' when a character falls to death can be nice flavour RP.

Spectral Solution is something I thought would be pretty neat, I believe this is something we can discuss more in depth over discord, I looked over the lore post you linked and although I can see one paraell of 'seeing ghosts' I don't see another. Again something to discuss and explain better. Just wanted a way to help ghosts.

Death Dispersion had that idea in mind when making it, again I believe clarifying over discord how we can accurately specify what it targets would be best.

it looks like more alchemy potions trying to copy stuff that already exists, and i'd sorta understand if this was an attempt to make those avenues more accessible to players, but all the recipes are locked.

I looked at other pieces of lore and didn't find crosover between. I am willing make recipes listed as common however if needed.

I don't neccesarily 'keep' recipes to myself and hand them out, I like the idea of spread through RP then others having access to knowing right off, which was my reason to 'lock' them.

  3. Morgue Alchemy Pack

    https://i.pinimg.com/564x/7c/ee/a3/7ceea3ab6092e6bcb0e3332227b7b298.jpg

Morgue Alchemy would have a focus based on death coming from three factors that surround it, before, near and after death. The pack includes four alchemical recipes that express that idea that isn’t malicious or made through dark intent, in the hope morgue alchemy would greater assist in roleplay when dealing with those coming to terms with death and preventing malicious intent in the afterlife.

    Recipes:

    Liquid Preservation (T3 - Rare)

    Quote

    Recipe:

    • Base: Aqua vitae 1/2 + 1/2 Honey.

    • x4 Life.

    • x2 Slowness.

    • x2 Silence.

    • x1 Black Bile.

    Creation:

Mixing the base to become indistinguishable from one another, met with a thickened pale yellow Aqua Vitae and honey base,  start adding in the rest of the symbols; each addition thickens the liquid to an extremely thick viscous state. Once all symbols have been added, rest for a narrative day so the viscous liquid can soften.

    Effects:

Liquid Preservation works by preserving non-organic/organic matter when surrounded or encased in the viscous liquid. The preservation persists to ‘freeze’ time, placing the matter inside into a comatose state. While comatose, the subject forgoes reality living in blissful memories, real or not. The liquid would have to be stored away from open surroundings and in a state of unmoving for the preservation to work correctly; you’ll often find large vat tubes with the liquid on flat surfaces for the best effect.

Disturbing the liquid in any significant way by, eg- rupturing the vat will disturb the occupants waking them up instantly; in turn, when the subject wishes to wake, similarly to ending a ‘dream’, they will find it possible to escape.

    Redlines:

    • One bottle of liquid will fill one foot of ‘vat’ liquid to encase someone.

    • Entering the liquid requires OOC & RP Consent. The player can ‘wake’ whenever they wish and escape the liquid even if ‘locked’ encased. Following capture rules.

    • Disturbing the liquid from moving or destroying will ‘wake’ the occupants up. You require the player to be online for this to engage in roleplay unless OOC was given otherwise.

    • The liquid preserves the body completely, removing the need for sustenance. Wounds/diseases if fatal or internal, will save a person while preserved, though require medical aid immediately when taken out.

    • The liquid would preserve the body of the individual, preventing aging.

    • Passive effects of the creature, magic, ext, still work. E.g., void stalker mana obelisk.

    • Black Bile collected from animals is acceptable to use for the ingredient.

    • Requires ST Signature for the potion and vat of liquid if a player is preserved.

    Vivification Concoction (T3 - Rare)

    Quote

    Recipe

    • Brewed In Sunlight Required.

    • Base: Aqua vitae 1/2 + 1/2 Honey.

    • x3  Instability.

    • x2 Grace.

    • x2 Peace.

    • x1 Vigor.

    Creation:

Mixing the base to become indistinguishable from one another, met with a thickened pale yellow Aqua Vitae and honey base, allow rest within the open sun, allowing its rays to capture the cauldron's contents. Get the mixture to boil and stir the remaining symbols in.

    Effects:

A calming solution to the one who consumes the liquid, lasting for one narrative hour, if one befalls death during this time, the concoction at the final breath eases the individual to a state of euphoria, unable to feel the pain of any affliction upon them. The individual would pass to the afterlife in peace, free from boundaries that hold them.

The body of an individual who consumed the liquid, alive or dead, would feel barred from malicious magic commanding the individual's body or soul into further deeds. Forming a barrier with a soft shine of a faded aura around the corpse. The solution's second effect would only work if the body or soul of the individual isn’t under present magical interference, such as necrotic or mysticism. The solution would last for three IRL days on a corpse.

    Redlines:

    • The calming solution isn’t a pain mediator.

    • The euphoria/no pain activates when the subject is on their death emote.

    •  The second effect takes hold if the body isn’t influenced by necromancy, mysticism on death, or other related magics.

    • The second effect can be cleansed by other alchemy.

    • You cannot drink/consume the potion if you have no organic matter.

    • Requires ST Signature.

    Spectral Solution (T3 - Rare)

    Quote

    Recipe

    • Aurum Cauldron Required.

    • Base: Aqua vitae 1/2 + 1/2 Honey.

    • x3  Instability.

    • x2 Separation.

    • x2 Rigidity.

    • x1 Ectoplasm.

    Creation:

Mixing the base to become indistinguishable from one another, met with a thickened pale yellow Aqua Vitae and honey base, start adding in the rest of the symbols; each addition thickens the liquid to an extremely thick viscous state. Prepare an aurum lid for the cauldron; taking the last ingredient, ectoplasm, pour it in and seal with the aurum lid and heat the mixture on low for three narrative days. The mixture would combine, creating a spectral glow on the viscous liquid, echoing the aura of the last person to hold it physically.

    Effects:

On consumption, the subject would find themselves met with the same spectral glow, echoing the user's aura around themselves and finding it possible to interact with spectral objects/beings physically, able to see spectral beings while vanished. You’re barred to only interacting with your body and no attachments. While induced, the subject puts you in a state of mind believing you’ve died and became a spectre yourself, making it possible for you to believe you’re incorporeal or able to vanish when not possible. The potion may induce sadness or depression from sudden death, forgetting your initial objective. The effect lasts a total of one narrative hour.

You may treat the viscous mixture in the creation process with an object or material, allowing the object to be physically held by spectres without telekinetic hands, feeling its weight and properties. The object cannot be made to hurt/harm spectres, although the spectre can use it to harm non-spectres. You cannot treat a lens to see ‘spectres’. The treatment is permanent.

    Redlines:

    • Requires the side effects to be roleplayed out correctly. If you drank the concoction to ‘detect ghosts’, you might fall victim to forgetting that original intention.

    • The subject is still the person they once were, physical and tangible.

    • When consumed, the user and spectre/ghost can interact physically. No ERP/FTB.

    • Cannot be used to harm spectres/ghosts/ectoplasm creatures. Vice versa isn’t the same; they can utilise treated Spectral Solutions to harm others.

    • Can be cured via other alchemical means early or, if treated, blight removal means.

    • Treated Spectral Solution is interactable by spectres/ghosts/non-physical manifestations that have ectoplasm; the strength of the spectre lies in their living race strength on average.

    • Requires ST Signature.

    Death Dispersion (T3 - Rare)

    Quote

    Recipe

    • Base: Aqua vitae

    • x2 Chaos.

    • x2 Impediment.

    • x2 Fear.

    • x1 Death.

    Creation:

Mixing the base to become indistinguishable from one another, met with a thickened pale yellow Aqua Vitae and honey base, start adding in the rest of the symbols; each addition thickens the liquid to an extremely thick viscous state. Once all symbols have been added, boil the mixture on high with a lid covering the cauldron, pressure cooking the mixture. After a narrative day, the mixture would congeal down to a mixture barely enough to fill a bottle.

    Effects:

A volatile concoction of liquid, ever moving in the bottle, trying to ‘free’ itself from its confines. If the lid is uncorked, much like burning incense, the scent would perforate the area, the liquid bubbling to a vapour, eventually, after six emotes or ten narrative minutes taking up a 6x6x6 area lasting a total of another six emotes or one narrative hour when the full radius is hit.

If the concoction is shattered through force, the mixture becomes more rapid, filling the area in half the time, three emotes to get to 6x6x6; lasting three emotes after hitting full size.

The concoction perforates a transparent white mist filling the surrounding area, the mist doesn’t afflict anything on the living, only the dead. When a spectre/ghost, risen creation, undeath, ext enter the mist, they’ll suffer the effects of paranoia and induced phantom pain on any part of them touching the mist doubling for each emote they remain inside. Beings directly controlled by magic are unaffected.

    Redlines:

    • The concoction will ‘ward’ off spectres/undeath of any kind by inducing paranoia and phantom pain while in the mist radius. The creatures can still attempt to stay in however suffer more ‘phantom pain’. The pain inflicted can go from a ‘cut from a blade’ to ‘being stabbed in the heart’ depending on how long they remain in the mist.

    • Does not affect anyone living. This includes ‘undeath’ under alchemy, giving them ‘false life’.

    • If a spectre/undeath, ext is being controlled directly by a caster, the pain/paranoia doesn’t affect them.

    • Can be removed via an air purification potion and/or similar alchemical/magical effects.

    • Requires ST Signature.

Confectionary Alchemy are recipe ingredients that are able to supplement other ingredients or added ingredients to recipes when it comes to cooking, brewing, baking, ext. The alchemy ingredients made will transfer their effects to the consumed food or drink of choice. The confection comes off as whimsy effects that provide no combat benefit or extra benefit if added to existing alchemy ingredients.

    Alchemist Sugar [Common - T2]

    Quote

    Recipe

    • Base: 1x aqua vitae, 1x liquid mana.

    • 5x Raw Sugar (Sugar Cane)

    • 1x Swiftness (to indicate addictive nature)

    • 2x Large Egg Whites

    Creation:

Mix Aqua Vitae with Liquid Mana, until evenly distributed, before adding in the raw sugar with swiftness, boiling down you wait till the colours of the mixture shows itself from the liquid mana. When the colours show dilute with the egg whites to soften and calm and congeal the liquid. Place a lid on the boilling mixture and wait until powder only remains. The process takes one narrative day.

    Effects:

An unnaturally sweet baby blue-coloured substance with addictive properties. On its own it would make foods extremely and almost painfully sweet, and consuming too much would make one giddy, or sluggish, like a heightened and concentrated sugar might. In large quantities a consumer might find themselves in a state of induced euphoria, visions of spiralling colours at the edge of one's vision, hypersensitivity to sight, sound and touch with an unreasonable distrust of others while under the effect, prolonged use would result in addiction. Should the sugar be mixed in with mundane food, these effects would transfer along with the sweet taste. The substance lasts for one narrative hour or until they engage in combat where the euphoria, visions and colour effect ends, and the negative more prone effects persist till the full narrative hour is up. They would also be subsumed by whatever concoction they were mixed in with.

Burning Alchemist Sugar would release multicolour sparks similar to the colours one might see on the edge of one's vision after consuming a lot of it, treating alchemist sugar whilst burning it would transfer the multi colour vision effect to the lens, seeing the world in pastel bright colours.

Long-time consumption of Alchemist Sugar, or concoctions derived from it, can lead to a variety of ailments. These might include an inability to lose weight quickly, constant lethargy, and/or difficulty focusing without its effect. As a result, one might suffer from consuming a lot of mundane sugar.

Alchemist Sugar will create a different form of treat depending on what it is mixed in with. Distilled Water will turn it into a liquid that must be drunk, Aqua Vitae would turn it into a candy-like glue substance, Liquid Mana would turn it into a vapour that must be breathed in, and mixing it in with nothing would make the final recipe just a powder. (Unless a specific recipe states a method that must be used.)

    Redlines:

    • Does not require an ST signature.

    • Common - T2.

    • The "giddy” effect or any other hypersensitivity doesn’t allow for superhuman reflexes, and cannot be used for CRP advantage.

    • If combat starts when under the induced effects, they persist unless some intervention is had.

    • Can be treated to a lens, the lens effect persists even in combat. This allows someone to view the world in varying colours. (Think of 'pyro vision').

    • Addiction to alchemist sugar is entirely up to the player. It can not be forced. Any withdrawal symptoms are up to them as well.

    • Is addictive, though follows above redline.

    • Lasts up to one narrative hour.

    • Can be added to food as a supplement for sugar.

    • Able to create multiple signed items within the batch.

    Essence of Freefall [Rare- T3]

    Quote

Base: Aqua Vitae or Liquid Mana

    Recipe:

    • 1x Alchemist Sugar
    • 3x Balance
    • 2x Separation

    Creation:

Mix Alchemist Sugar with another type of base, mix that final result with the symbols, whatever the result is must then be put in a container, and then tossed into the air and caught for 3 to 5 narrative minutes, alternatively alter position can be used to make it weightless for a 2 to 3 to simulate this effect. Once the mixture has been correctly mixed through, it’ll be filled with multicoloured bubbles floating about it.

    Effects:

Consuming the Essence of Freefall, outside of any combat situation, would allow oneself to become untethered to the ground and buoyant to gravity around them. Floating only at most a foot off the surface with no tug and pull to force them down, one may move as if freefalling, however if in movement the consumer would slowly fall to the ground having a 'slowfalling' effect. Should one feel threatened, panicked or enter combat in any form the effect ends and sends the consumer to be stunned briefly while suffering the effects of extreme vertigo and nausea. The effect lasts for four emotes, or ten narrative minutes. Represented by ethereal multi-coloured bubbles bursting around the consumer's body, with each passing narrative minute / emote, fewer bubbles are seen. If more is taken before the effect ends it resets the duration but doubles the negatives when it eventually runs out.

    Redlines:

    • Requires ST signature.

    • Rare - T3.

    • If you move while induced under the effects, instead of floating. One slowfalls to the ground.

    • Can not be used to bypass mechanical limitations, except in cases of 'slowfalling'.

    • As soon as combat starts or when the potion effects end, one would fall to the ground. The person will suffer the negative effects of extreme vertigo and nausea.

    • If someone was given the concoction unknowingly they would not need to roleplay vertigo induced by coming off the substance, but it is encouraged for anyone who willingly took it to roleplay such an effect.

    • Should one step off of a long drop such as a cliff the potion would slowfail, if the user is threatened by such a height the effect ends.

    • Able to create multiple signed items within the batch.

    Filling Fixens [Common - T2]

    Quote

    Base:  1/- Base distilled water.

    Recipe

    • A morsel of food, candy, drink or other mundane ingredients.
    • 1x Alchemist Sugar
    • 2x Balance
    • 3x Slowness

    Creation:

Take a base liquid such as Aqua Vitae, (Cows Milk, Distilled Water, ext)  and ferment with Alchemist Sugar and the various symbols. This will leave a jam-like spread which can then be coated or dropped onto any mundane ingredient, which could be eaten or drunk in a few bites. This would then soak into the ingredient until it is completely gone.

    Effects:

The liquid when consumed would send a faux full course meal slowly rotating through the effects of each course if added after, starting with the first base ingredient. The food would have the added sweetness of the alchemist sugar but not enough to sully the food. The course meals or even drinks one might sense as they continue to eat, chew, drink or consume the liquid gives a faux sensation through the mind causing the individual to believe they’re consuming the [base] food added. The course meals added with Filling Fixens wouldn't nourish one as if they ate the full course meal(s) when the consumed item is fully eaten/drank, only an illusion of nouishment. After the feast has satisfied the consumer it’ll leave one with a dry and bitter aftertaste, as if having cinnamon and lemon in one bite for a few narrative minutes.

    Redlines:

    • Does not require an ST signature.

    • Common - T2.

    • When consumed it wouldn't fill an individual up as if they had eaten a full course meal on the base ingredients added. Only an illusion of the food providing such. The meal created would only provid nouishment of the food/drink added, eg: If added to a breadstick- you only have nouishment from the breadstick over any 'fixen' meal added.

    • Able to create multiple signed items within the batch.

It was CRAZY when activity checks were first imposed, and were public at the time.  The most popular nation/group at the time had a streak of 13-15% activity and it ended with just about every nation going to war to destroy them so they could get their activity instead

Ah yes, I remember Llyria. Though you have to not discount the Nation leader was also dumb for allowing no raid cap and building no walls to prevent entry, which also contributed.

To the overall idea of the post, I do agree with keeping the activity check private. If a NL wants it to be public they can post a status or update their discord.

If you rather that be in a plugin that updates, I would still say it requires their permission.

5 or lower; they cannot see what has occurred, only the exaggerated emotions of it. For example, one scarred by fear may give the Flesh-Weaver a long-lasting fear of that level. They will be plagued by the voices of the participant’s memory and will be burdened by the knowledge that they sought to find.

Reading over the lore it is interesting and I have two questions, the first one is the above quote- how long does this last? Permanantly?

Second, I assume the lore is a feat and not a slotted progression lore?

  7. Overal my opinion on the plugin(s) here would be extremely positive, making plugins which further benefit roleplay on the server is something one should strive for as better content/creation/achievement one can do on the server. To feedback on what is currently given i'll split up brewing and cooking.

    Brewing-

I like the idea/method of brewing you proposed, I remembered in Nexus some steps of 'cooking' required a fire source a block under, potentially for more immersion be added here also? (Maybe a campfire instead) to aid in the distilling process. I do like how you made the brewing process simple however so disreguard is seen as meaningless.

Could you potentially add a command when holding a barrel to remove some negative effects? Having Nausa for 30 seconds straight isn't something i'll bless on my worst enemy and this is for paying customers! Maybe different ingredients added could combine to nullegate negative effects.

    Food/Cooking-

The concept of cooking RP is good in my opinion and can aid in roleplay as sometimes the 30th time+ you make bread the emotes can get tiresome and doing so with a plugin might be easier. I would like to see with cooking some more steps then right clicking a pot and putting stuff in however if you wanted to go further with it.

    Overal-

The concepts are good and well proposed, my concern is uniqueness- instead of having premade food/drink descriptions could one override them with their own fancy name/desc with keeping the effects either would give?

If you give any food/drink positive effects such as saturation, I think a way to prevent it from being utilized in pvp is if the user takes damage the effect stops, or pulls out a surge weapon?

Give AetherVIP the glow effect to be put on drinks/food when made <3

  8. MC Name: E__V__O

    Character's Name: Evo’Lur

    Character's Age: N/A

    Character's Race: High Elf

    Link to your accepted MA:

    https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/170618-st-arcane-sensory-illusion-ironlich/

What magic(s) will you be teaching?:

    Sensory Illusion

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

The void is a source of infinite potential, while some use it to conjure elements or lifelike creatures others use it to shape the perception of the world of those around them. The art of sensory illusion is one often pursued by those wishing to strengthen their minds, the requirements of this specific arcane art are much more focused on the concentration of the caster than the actual mana cost.

A master of sensory illusion is able to use the void as a delicate tool capable of manipulating voidal energies giving them shape with their mind and tricking others into seeing what they wish by manipulating their senses. They possess a deep knowledge of both the mortal realm and the void, able to conjure an illusion. However it's important to note that these illusions are nothing more than illusions, no physical properties.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Sensory Illusion can be categorized into two different “sections” of sorts, those being Figments and Glamours.

Glamours are the “simplest” or “easiest” of spells in the arsenal of a sensory illusion mage, this spell focuses on changing the perception of another person of an existing object. An example of this would be changing the perceived color of a person's tie or their eyes.

Figments are objects or images made by an illusionist when they manipulate through magic the senses of their target. Unlike Glamours these images are found exclusively on the target(s)'s mind(s) and much like glamorous they can’t interact with their environment or the material world around them. Figments are known for requiring much more focus from their caster and require a lot of practice in order to master.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

[Context] Evo’Lur would find himself enjoying the latest research project presented to him by the Locums of the Guild, sitting by the magical altar in the hall where he gave most of his lessons. Every now and then the mali’aheral would lift his gaze, the lessons were going to start shortly he’d realize as he noticed the steady flow of Practicus and Neophytes walking on the corridors outside the great hall.

[!] [1st: Connecting] As the arcane bells of the academy would resonate in every hall to indicate lessons were starting Evo’Lur would take a deep breath, closing his eyes briefly as he connected to the void, at this point and after so many years this process was natural to him. He waited for all of the people to enter the hall and sat down before he’d begin. “Today you are going to learn something, something useful, something extraordinary, of course something mastered by me.” he’d state from his seat as he looked around. He counted four students and one member of the Collegium.

[!] [2nd: 1st charging emote (web weaving up to 4 people)] Evo’lur would stand in front of the Great Hall, his eyes glowing faintly with a white hue. His gaze would begin to look around the room slowly, making a web of sorts in his mind as he did. “The art of weaving illusions through the arcane energies of the void is not one for those weak of mind, the strength of one’s illusion is only measured by one’s capability to bend reality to the exact point before it becomes too unreal. Playing with the minds of those who can not comprehend things more complex than the seasons or the day and night cycle.” he’d comment as he began with the lesson, his gaze catching the member of the collegium looking right back at him, he was aware that the old mage was casting a spell of some sort.

[!] [3rd: 2nd charging emote (web weaving up to 8 people (Only 5 in the room))] He’d tap the tip of his wand on the lectern in front of him as he looked at the last attending member of the lesson before pointing with it towards a large painting that depicted the coasts of Haelunor across the room. “It is thanks to my strong mind that I’m able to bend reality, show your minds that which is not there. Look around the room, tell me what you see. Do not disappoint me like the last batch of practicus did.” all of the students would now be aware that Evo’Lur was casting a spell, however they would scan the room for anything out of the ordinary within the room.

[!] [4th: 1st Casting Spell (Glamour: Modification on sense: Hearing)] As their gazes looked around the hall one of them would pause. Ushering the others to stay quiet and listen. The sound of waves breaking against the beach would fill the room, the occasional screech of a seagull making the attendants of the lesson hesitate before turning once more towards the Altar. Evo’Lur’s aura now visible as white ethereal crystals slowly sprung from the ground around him and his left hand twitched a bit.

[!] [5th 2nd Casting Spell (Figment: Modification on sense: Sight and smell)] Before they could ask anything to the elf the smell of salt water would fill their noses. They looked at each other perplexed, Evo’Lur would grin, even the member of the collegium looked a bit confused by the events unfolding in front of them. The mali’aheral would begin to show more tells of his casting as his entire body would appear to be affected by occasional spasms however his eyes would remain locked on the painting as his mind focused on making the illusion as real as possible.

[!] [6th Spell Runs its course] The sound of waves and smell of salty water would suddenly stop. Everyone in the hall turned towards Evo’Lur. As one of the Practicus raised his hand to ask a question another would call out for the rest to look towards the entrance of the hall. There in the distance they would see the large painting of the coasts of Haelun’or coming to life, the sound of waves crashing and the smell of salt water filling their senses as they saw the waves crash against the sand, the trees and bushes dancing with the breeze, a couple of seagulls flying over the horizon. However the illusion would not last forever. It vanished almost as fast as it came.

[!] [7th Fatigue] The practicus would turn towards the Altar only to find Evo’Lur facing the other way. “YOU ARE ALL DISMISSED!” he’d call out without turning to face them. As the last of them left the room a voice would mutter from his shoulders. “They are gone now.” Evo’Lur would turn to face his familiar, resting on his shoulder and offering him an elegant handkerchief, a stream of blood running from his own nose. “You overdid it… again.” the Familiar would state, its voice filled with concern. “I know… I know… not now, I’m too tired to listen to your speech about not being a young elf anymore.” he’d complain as he put his weight on the altar, his legs and arms shaking.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

[!] The mage would pretend to wake up as the young elf walked up the stairs towards the magic altar in the middle of the room.

[Evo’Lur]You're late.” Evo’Lur would say before tapping the altar with his wand. “Don’t waste more of my time. Connect yourself to the void, get ready to cast a glamour upon the focus crystal

[T4 Student]I’m sorry Archmage, Alexei has been brewing potions in the alchemy lab all morning and the Locum ordered me to clean up after him.” he’d say apologetically, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath as he connected to the void.

[Evo’Lur] Would shake his head disappointed as the young elf explained himself. “Did I say give me excuses? I did not, you’ve just earned yourself a more complex task, I hope you don’t fail.

[Student]Yes Archmage, I will do as you instruct.” the practicus would reply with a respectful nod. He knew better than to argue with Evo’Lur after making several mistakes.

[Evo’Lur]You should cast a figment powerful enough to fool me. Not on an exterior object, not on someone else, on yourself. I want you to disguise yourself.” he’d instruct his student with a smirk.

[Student] Would begin to sweat. He had begun practicing disguises a few weeks earlier but they were not something he could maintain for long periods of time. “I will begin now.

    [Evo’Lur] I don’t have all day.

[Student] Would nod apologetically as he focused on Evo’Lur, his mind trying to imagine the illusion he came up with in his master’s mind. [Figment: Modification on sense: Sight]

[Evo’Lur] Yawns. Looking at the hourglass that slowly marked the passing of time on the altar.

[Student] Would try to make the image much clearer magnifying the effect it had on Evo’Lur’s sense of sight. [Figment: Magnify effect on sense: Sight]

[Evo’Lur] Would turn to face his student, only to find his own face looking right back at him. “What a handsome devil… I guess I can forgive your previous mistakes.

[Student] Would grin as he maintained the illusion for a couple of additional minutes. “I’ve been practicing for the last few months. It’s definitely tricky, but you’ve taught me well

[Evo’Lur] Would smile for a few seconds, before going to his usual serious expression. “You are dismissed, and you better make sure there are no wrinkles the next time you disguise as me, and send Alexei in.” he’d instruct the young elf.

    [Student] Leaves the room

[Alexei]How did he do? Did you test his disguises like I suggested?” the familiar would ask as he approached Evo’Lur

[Evo’Lur]You were right, he’s gotten a lot better at this in the last few months. Thank you Alexei, keep an eye out on him. He will soon be ready to become an Adeptus Majoris.” he’d say looking towards the door proudly.

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If the student tried to powergame during teaching I would focus on making things right in the lessons where this took place. Trying to sort things out both in roleplay and local ooc mediums to point out where their mistakes were, what something appropriate would look like to make sure they do not make this mistake again.

If the student powergames after being taught I would approach them OOCly, and talk with them about the flaws of their RP. Keeping a constructive attitude but making sure they understand what they are doing is not good for several reasons, first being how powergaming makes the roleplay not enjoyable, second being how it reflects badly on not only him and me as their teacher but also on the voidal mage community as a whole, and third possibly leading to the magic getting nerfed or heavily redlined, which might mean less freeform or creative forms of utilizing it.

    Aviary Guide

The Aviary plugin allows players to send letters of any kind to a companion of choice. The letters are represented as In-Game messages, and players can now no longer send valid character messages across other platforms/mediums. Excepts do occur, such as raid bells or lore-determined messaging systems.

    How does it work?

To begin using the aviary plugin, you must write a letter, or in this case, a note. Taking a piece of paper in hand, type in the command “/notes,” which will bring up various options to make a message colorful, copy, erase or sign the note in the chatbox.

    d1g-i1jROe8EvaavkBRgDsRbjjOYrBGb7fda4j85am3nKPzBGuLfzZ5LIeBBE4-5A1eXJ_KyErM2oQws4oFDuD9i0PcjAnY9Vq5XY4hEuOOJsIsWpcsDOuU6afGnmkGWFKtEL12DvogmSOmGhg

Writing a letter without fancy lettering, you may skip over all the commands except “/notes write [text]”, where you input the message.

If you wish to see the other options detailed, a spoiler below will describe the “/notes help” command, as with giving a link to Unicode symbols.

In turn, if you wish to have your letters sprinkled with Unicode for the added flare, here is a website link to assist you:

    https://unicode-table.com/en/

    Otherwise, a translator to do all the work for you;

    https://lingojam.com/FancyFontGenerator%2CUnicodeText

Once you have a note/letter prepared, find a setup aviary located around settlements, nations or other hubs designated by ‘postal’ or ‘aviary.’ If you’re within the aviary’s radius, you can start with the plugin. With the note/letter in hand, type in “/aviary”. Currently, two options exist, “/aviary mail” & “/aviary send”. The former allows you to receive any mail sent to you, whereas the latter will enable you to send notes/letters you prepared prior.

Sending your letter is easy; type in “/aviary send [MC name]” with your designated note. Hitting enter at this point will bring a text in chat to click on the persona to send the note/letter off.

    QZB7hnKpm5KB3wK4COJ8M9u7DRSkR6h2kPeCQIsafi0SWfdhHPAf-NiL3-mII3Ewv8OKGolbm5pQKSIsFW03kxArOlVhIQUIhfLAj2NElCBI_KbPPa2JQdHlVzi1MAhYOOHQBN69y5O6ZlMhIQ

You may, instead of clicking the persona, type in the number allocated to the persona from the persona card if the player has multiple for quick sending, “/aviary send [MC name] #” in the case above, typing the number “######” will work.

There is more below if you care to read on success and how to prevent a bird below!

And you’re off! A bird will spawn at the aviary location and fly to your destination! Or attempt to; if obstructed, the bird will return to you with the note for you to send again.

If you see this prompt, try again or seek out a different aviary with proper exits to send your letters!

There are short-minute cooldowns to sending letters, which will prompt you with a message if doing so too quickly, so wait it out before sending more!

The last topic I wanted to discuss with the aviary system is the bird; the bird will spawn with one heart/HP. If struck with any mechanical tool/weapon, the bird will die and drop the note before reaching the destination point. You can pick up the letter and read any secrets it may contain, be aware; however, if you do this, you must correctly roleplay after taking down the bird.

The player who sent the message will be notified with:

    UUQd8ayrRdhhOvH42sToGzxz0Gbfd1J7OyoenrCMtyomlhyqMUPVkL-FhS7THSeU7ozsYBtMpTSdySO0uLIHV0UD_9FTh7pYbJuD8XwGb41s4y95KXinEmxbYb_A7yt-itNToS-QM71p77hkXg

You/anyone within the area of the shot down bird will be notified with:

    Tfv6PhaW6d53_EsOolO-GE7XfDqqDYmzDD0p_P2KGpAEbVStF-KZ53JqnB5zCKI684N5gZYzp3lLOfqPAb_6pkx3_EfiNImNKe3nMGSZVATReM8SW4q-3VVtGK2RjqR_HFdX5TvzRWrM_P9dDw

You have about 30 seconds to shoot down the bird before it reaches the ‘destination’ where the bird will despawn, and the message successfully sent, so be quick!

The last thing I wanted to address is the rules relating to sending the bird in combat; if doing so, you must successfully emote three times of preparing the note/letter, getting the bird, and sending it off before mechanically sending the bird. The emotes must correspond with those in the combat encounter.

Thank you for reading the guide, and hopefully, it helps.

rly good stuff, been loving these new tech plugins. as for suggestions, would a way to display skins and have players wear them be feasible? ive seen it done on another server but idk anything ab lotc code. theres been a huge skinning boom and it could be cool for these skinners to hang up outfits that players can buy and wear ingame, making tailor rp a thing. could also be used for guards to let them turn their mechanical armor into their armor skin. makes it easier to identify ppl during combat too but thats more of a pvp thing

With NPC's being fixed you can set your MC account with the skin and make an NPC with it before switching back.

If that doesn't work however, this would be a good suggestion.

Honestly unsure what to read by the reply but what is in those quotes you wrote at the bottom? If so, my reply is I was just replying to your comment not based on staff bias if there was any. The comment my reply was to you stating it should be kept on the forums which I showed you it was.

On the same warthread it was just announced by the moderation admin the war would be on the 25th, unless anyone disagrees with it.

You can not reasonably expect Itdontmatta to check the Krugmar discord for war-related things, same goes for  the Malin'or, Celia'nor, etc, any and all war communication needs to be done on the proper thread. It should have been communicated on the war thread and it was not.

I won't be partaking in the warclaim as i've not been able to partake on events on the server for some time, however looking at the war thread it was addressed several times as per the images below that the Krugmar nation leader stated the 18th didn't work for them and would prefer the 25th.
