Minecraft User Name: DarkSoundwave
Character Name: Sir_Bito_Minesmasher
Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):
Leaving Kal'Urguan at the young age of 220 I went off and saw the world. Not knowing any lands outside of the city I stumbled upon Wrath's Clutch. From there he chased me away shooting fireballs and lighting at me. I fled towards Kara'Kungore Viceroy Gordoks home.
The Viceroy at the time a baron took me in and sheltered me. I sword that I would protect him and his estate. After many years working fer him I grew to respect him as a father and a friend. Then Wrath came and attacked us I sacrificed myself to protect him. Many more months passed and then the Baron became the Viceroy of Alras and nominated me to being a knight of Alras. I had visited Alras many times fer supplies but I had never really gotten to know the city.
During the knighting I met the love of me life Anora Firmheart. Since meeting we've started the dwarfish seven year courtship to allow our love to blossom into a bold and beautiful flower. I've lived a long life and I'm grateful for the chance to finally serve the greater good instead of just Alras.
Good Deeds [At least 4 Occasions]:
I've helped my good friend Kjell Ireheart with saving his cousin Valon Wyvernos. Assisted in taking down Wrath's Clutch. Fighting alongside everyone in Aegis against the undead stronghold past Lauralin. Killing a high ranking Undead at Kal'Urguan. There is honestly too much to list from the things I have done...
Character Flaws/Weaknesses:
His love Anora would be considered his greatest strength and his greatest weakness. If anything were to happen to her it would devastate him. His other weakness is Viceroy Gordok Yonhammer is adoptive father to him their bond is special and there have been attempts made to sever that bond. It would not only harm him emotionally but ruin Alras's standing in the world.
Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:
Being a knight of Alras I've trained with swords and axes. I've only known how to wield weapons my whole life. I've never had time to consider the others options I've had. If I had to choose I'd stick with Warrior however I honestly want the fighting to stop and enjoy the peace while it lasts as always conflicts will arise within Aegis.
Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:
Growing up within Kal'Urgaun's walls behind the safety they provided he stayed with his parents helping them around the shop forging weapons. When his parents left the walls to go up north to fight the undead it hurt but he knew they would return. Weeks went by with no word. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years. He left Kal'Urgaun seeking a better life. Heading up north is where he found them risen as zombies. His mother Oria always wore a diamond necklace that she had even in undeath. Tears flowed down his cheeks as they attacked him and he couldn't do anything to save them. The reason he fights is so no one could experience the pain he felt on that day when he truly knew that he was the last of his clan.
How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:
I determine right from wrong by the choices made which lead up to the incident. Most people use the law as a way of determining whats right and whats wrong. However if you really look into a situation you see a different point of view. Example: A child stealing bread from a farm to eat that child would go to court and be found guilty however he shouldn't be guilty as he/she is trying to eat.
What are your characters views on the following statements (At least 1 Paragraph):
1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.
I can see how Cephalus is correct with his definition of justice however I feel that hes wrong as well. If his version of justice is right then that would mean that we're all guilty of crimes to some degree. I believe that we're all allowed to make mistakes. As even when we're adults we're still learning and growing.
With Socrates statement it feels more like a modern definition of justice which is what we're all used to. I prefer Socrates version as in my mind I feel that it means we're guilty only if we do something we know is wrong. If we're doing it for the right reason then its not considered a crime. Course I may be wrong but its my opinion.
2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?
Both are noble however its more noble to takes arms against a sea of troubles. As when push comes to shove the people will fight back. I've always believed that a rebellion against tyranny is better then a full blown war for a just cause. If you sit there and take the pain instead of fighting for whats right then you might as well dig a grave and lay in. Nothing comes easy in life and at times people will have to stand up for whats right.
((Edited cause I left the last one was lacking.))
