In-Character Information Character’s name: Derious Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: 81 (If the current year is 1547) Biography: Born in 1466 in Haelun'or, Derious was a child during the wood-elven rebellion of 1475 that saw the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or led by the high elven government overthrown. Although very young at the time, he still remembers the panic and fear that ensued after the wood elves began their attempt at a genocide of the high elves. It was through this genocide that Derious lost his family. He knew elven blood was precious because as a child he rarely saw another elven child. His parents were able to protect him by hiding him before accepting their fates. He was cared for by the remaining high elves and although he held great resentment towards the wood elves, he was too young and feeble to participate in any battles. Upon escaping to the Isles of Vailor in 1513, he spent most of his youth researching among the books of The Eternal Library which with his strong mali'aheral bloodline, he was generously granted access to. Knowledge became his strength as he never considered himself a physical fighter. He prefered isolation as to him that was what he had become accustomed to during his early years. He despised much of the other races, seeing them as uncivilised, and tended to avoid contact with wood elves especially. Over the years, Derious became increasingly self-conscious of his dependency on others, this was an affront to his sense of self worth as a high elve. This fueled a desire to prove himself to others which to date has yet to be sated. Personality Traits: Derious is vain, ambitious and tends to be quite direct when speaking. Ambitions: Derious wants peace and prosperity for the high elves even if conflict and hardships must be borne to achieve it. Strengths/Talents: Derious is highly confident and decisive with a strategic mind. He can apply his analytical skills to almost any situation. When it comes to tasks, he can act with an almost ruthless efficiency due to his determined mindset. He usually operates via his intuition which can allow him to attempt to manipulate others if necessary. Weaknesses/Inabilities: With his confidence comes his arrogance which can lead to him ignoring all other opinions even if it is to his detriment. He also lacks a strong build making him vulnerable to more experienced fighters in close combat. Appearance: Derious measures at 5'11' and is pale skinned with silver hair and emerald eyes. When it comes to minecraft i’m more of a builder than a miner or red stone type of guy. I love roll playing as characters and fighting in pvp, that being one of the main reasons I want to join this server. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: At least 6 hours or more. -How long have you played minecraft?: I’ve been playing on minecraft for at least a year now (since the bed update). -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Rollplaying is where someone acts as someone else. And to be honest I don’t do rollplaying too often, not that I don’t enjoy it, but more that people never join in and play along. -What do you expect this server will be like?: What I’m expecting is to be introduced to a different style of online gaming where you get to battle and chat online with other people in the way that your fictional character acts which I think will be really fun. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I used to play on a reasonably large server called mcbestcraft but left due to nothing really happening and getting board of going on the same server every day. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? Humans, Orks, Elfs and Dwarfs -How did you hear about us?: I came across your youtube advertisement of your server, and I thought it was really cool and would like to try it out for myself. -Did you vote?: Yes I did. -What was your favourite Law?: To wear the skin of your race, I like the races and think it’ll make it much more realistic if we look like the race we are. -What was your least favourite Law?: To be honest, I don’t really have one, I think they’re all reasonable. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? Endermen_King In-Character: -Character Name: Zaros -What is your Race?: Ork -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: Endermen_King -Biography: Zaros was born into a upper middle class Ork family, he had a good education and was a fast learner, taught by some of the greatest teachers in the whole of Krugmar, he became a well educated child. He was an only child as his mother, Grace, unfortunately died at birth. Due to him being richer than most of the other Orks he was quite isolated as a child and didn’t have too many friends. Even at a young age he spoke and acted like he was 40 and surprised his teachers who had previously underestimated him. When he was 26 his father, Thorak, lost all their money in a gambling match, unable to pay for food, he began stealing. When he was in his late 30’s his father died in a battle at the hands of the elf’s, he had attempted to steal from them, and when caught, tried to take their riches by force. But he was of no match against the elf’s skilled archery and was killed. Although his father’s death was of his own doing, he never forgave the elf’s and always wished to claim revenge on the race that took his father at any cost. But he can easily mask his hatred of the elf's, (the orks and elf's are allies so he must to keep on their good side) as he can with most things, being quite a natural lier from is childhood when he would be late for his lessons sometimes. After the death of his father he trained to become a skilled fighter, strategic and single minded in his pursuits and goals, his mind set to war and revenge and nothing to come in his way until he gets what he wants. -Character Age: 43 -Character Appearance: Wears dark robes and has the classic green ork skin but has a more sophisticated look about him. -Character Personality: Zaros is a calculating, sophisticated, psychopathic, cold blooded worrier and is very good at lying and pretending to come across as a kind friendly person just to get you to put your guard down. -Your ambitions: To commit genocide on all the elf’s and become a great worrier of the Orks -Can your character read or write?: He has neat hand writing and is a fast reader. -Can your character mine?: He’s not the best miner around but is reasonably experienced in using a pickaxe. -Are you a capable builder? He is considered a good builder, when he was a child building was one of his more favored activities with an artistic eye for things and capable of creating some good builds. -Can you wield a sword? He was trained to wield a sword at a young age and can be very vicious when on the attack, so always have your guard up when in combat with him!: -Enjoy Farming?: He isn’t a keen farmer, he tends to fall asleep with boredom when watching his crops grow. -Does your character have any special skills?: He has the ability to use his opponents weaknesses to his advantage and can be very skilled with a sword and tends to be very manipulating.
