  1. Do we really need fast travels?

Fast travles should be limited by making them purchasable by nation leaders at very, very high costs (and high upkeep). There should be no fast travels especially for long distances, because those should be the journeys to play; fast travel on small distance (like to nearest town) are more bearable.

Getting rid of fast travels would make people actually play with their surroundings, knowing their neighbours, developing small communities in general.

As someone who has experienced no fast-travels on a multitude of maps, keep fast-travels, put them anywhere a person wants them, and make them free. Just like they are now. Road RP hasn't been a thing since Aegis, and even then it wasn't very good. Walking anywhere becomes intensely tedious, even to relatively close places.

We ought not to make the same mistakes twice.

Aegis had some quite fun road rp, but when I say that I mean like outside small taverns, roadside camps, etc. Not just strolling along the road and talking to someone, and maybe a map like Asulon, but I thought Anthos was a good size to not have fast travels.
