*Rhekton holds the parchment up to his fireplace, attempting to illuminate the words against the darkness of night. As he reads, his face twists into an expression of agony. Renati, I applaud your actions here. Seventis should set the image of a peaceful nation that is happy to intergrate those who already existed in the region first, not warmongers who pillage and burn those around them.

Is this really how Seventis wants to be known? You complain about the evilness or tyranny of Salvus, yet are eager to crush those around you? Why not instead establish peaceful trade agreements with Rienna, and welcome it peacefully into your nation. If this attack go's forth, I will be defending Rienna.

While checking denied applications to see what not to do, I noticed that many of the applications where denied based on a lack of information on these two subjects, so I did some extra research on the topics. From what iv gathered, Metagaming is using information or abilities that are gathered outside of the Roleplaying environment to benefit your in game character in an unfair way. This could be something as simple as examining in game kill logs and applying this information to the Roleplay environment. Powergaming on the other hand seemed to have a number of meaning. I think that powergaming means either maximizing you characters skills in a way that makes the gaming experience unfun for everyone else who is trying to RP. The second meaning I have noticed is having a RP character who creates situations that ruin the game for other players based on their lore/background. This could mean a player sees themselves as a super hero that is more powerful than anyone else in the game. Not yet What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Eppich In-Character: Character Name: Rhekton Elkaxe What is your Race?: Human Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born the son of a poor woodcutter and a midwife, Rhekton lived the life of a peasant for most of his childhood. At the age of 7 his father began to train Rhekton as a fellow woodcutter. It was during these long days in the forests with his father that he learned how to respect the axe as a tool and not a weapon. Still, the life of a woodcutter was one that Rhekton could not continue. As he sharpened his skill with the axe, he developed an insatiable appetite for knowledge. While his lowly wages of a woodcutter could never afford books or entry into a college, Rhekton learned the ways of the world from strange travelers in taverns or a passing merchant. One warm summer day, on the 17th birthday of Rhekton, a hooded old man with dark tanned skin and a long gnarled staff entered the town tavern. As the night went on, and the ale flowed, the man began to tell story of a beautiful yet dangerous world beyond Rhektons hometown. That night Rhekton dreamed of the world that lay beyond, a world full of adventure and mystery. If not for Rhektons parents, he would have left that very night. The sands of time continued to flow, and soon Death came to great Rhektons father. Two years later, during a rather peculiar rain storm, his mother was swept into a local river. Suddenly, at the age of 19, Rhekton was left alone in the world. While many would turn to grief and sadness, Rhektons heart was filled ambition. He then set of with nothing more but an old rusted axe and a even older childhood dream. Your characters ambitions: Rhekton is not interested in material gain or acquiring power. Instead, he wishes to explore the world around him, watching it evolve and develop. He examines every situation separately, and always make a rational decision. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? The natural reaction to seeing a single person being engaged by multiple foes is to defend said person. Rhekton on the other hand, would examine the entire situation first. The very fact that one should take into consideration is that we are in the wilds, indicating that the cabin could very well belong to the bandits. That means that the elf either stumbled upon a bandit home, or came here with another intent. I would then rush into combat, attempting to interrupt the fight and hear each sides explanation of what is occurring. If the bandits are in fact raiding the elf, I would help the elf and ask only for some resource in return. If the bandits are simply defending there home from a sneaky elf, then I would help them overtake the elf in combat. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Greetings friend, can you gather me some supplies so that I may continue my journey?
