Personality: Katlyss is very stubborn, once she has her mind made up or formed an opinion about something; it is difficult to change it. She is very devoted to her pride, and will give her life for her younger siblings and is very motherly towards them. She is also very determined, once she has a goal, she will achieve it one way or another. She is kind to her fellow Kharajyr unless she hears or knows something about that individual that makes her dislike them. Physically, Katlyss is strong, but she is also rather clumsy. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Katlyss was born as a Tigrasi, like her mother Akara, and thinks that she is much smarter than her father Kija. Katlyss is the second oldest child in her pride. When Katlyss was two years old, her punna and munna explained to her how Metztli created everything, and taught her how to offer a special blue stone to Metztli. At the age of four, Akara took Katlyss along on her first hunting trip, and Katlyss immediately knew she wanted to be a huntress. From then on, she always went along when someone from her pride went hunting, and helped them provide food for the rest of the pride. At the age of six, she became aware of how much her parents loved each other, and began to wonder that, if it ever came down to it, and her siblings and parents were split up; her parents would chose to save each other instead of their cubs and kittens. Her worst fear is discovering that her punna and munna don’t really love her and her siblings; rather they tolerate them because they are the results of their relationship. Her fondest memory is when Kija came home one day, tired and mopey, and her munna and siblings waited by the door for his arrival. They all then tackle-hugged him as he walked through the door, and stuffed pawfuls of cake into his mouth. On Katlyss’s eighth birthday, her parents gave her a bow and arrow to help her hunt, and it became her most prized possession. Katlyss discovered that she could kill twice as many animals with a bow as she could with a sword. Katlyss likes to play Catch the Tail and Hide and go Seek with her pride, and enjoys evenings snuggled up with her munna and punna. Character's ambitions: To prove to herself that her parents love her and her siblings just as much as they love each other, and to become the best huntress out of all the Kharajyr. _---Situational Rp Questions---_ 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: Katlyss frowns at the ape and tells him to wait where he is, and runs back home to tell her punna that an ape has invaded their nation’s land and has been roaming around for days. She tells Kija exactly where she found the ape and smiles in satisfaction as she watches him run in the direction of the ape with his sword drawn. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Wishing that she had her bow with her, Katlyss would attempt to ignore the ape, but she’s never been good at taking insults. Katlyss growls, hoping to scare him. She then plays with her claws, hoping to make it clear that she will use them if he doesn’t shut his mouth. Kija and Akara then enter the tavern, and the dwarf directs his racist comments towards them, too. Katlyss smiles as she sees her parents become enraged, and cheers them on as the beat the lowly ape. 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? “Fool, it was only a piece of cake.” Katlyss snarls. She then hits him upside the head for his stupidity. Kija comes into the room so quickly, Katlyss knows he was eavesdropping, “What’s this about killing another Kharajyr?” He growls. Katlyss’s friend stares at the floor. Kija turns to his daughter and looks at her. “Do the right thing” His expression says. After a moment of silence, Katlyss grabs her friend by the back of the neck and drags him off to jail. Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?
