They certainly have motivation, what with the attacks in their old territory.

  5. I'll think about it, but truely I don't want these things kept as pets in any circumstances. It's meant to be something to have a heroic struggle against, not a cuddle buddy. On a phone atm, will ask arik some questions in a pm then respond later.
  6. Sala I get the feeling that you might be over thinking things, but rest assured the answer is "alchemy does crazy things."
  7. I only wish I could delve deep into Druidic magic lore, but it is unfortunately hidden to me. I will add a filter when i get home, though I intend to make a Tier 5 Druid To, at most, be able to keep it from attacking anyone, rather than just allies. So, Druids, tell me if the following sounds alright: Tier 1, unable to communicate with it. Tier 2, able to understand it, though it will only ever communicate its rage at all things that live Tier 3, able to communicate with it, and after a great deal of coercion, persuade it to not eat the Druid temporarily. Tier 4, able to communicate with it, and cause it to ignore the Druid until about a day later, whereupon it forgets about it. Tier 5, able to calm it, stopping it from killing everything it sees for about a day, whereupon it forgets about it. Would this sound fair? If possible, I'd love to see the Druidism lore if you have access to it, so we could discuss this further in PMs.
  8. It is an enormous cop-out, I agree entirely, and it requires proper explanation. One might consider this the prequel to my "dire beast" lore, which are basically creatures made big and powerful at the cost of loosing any feeling or emotion, save a churning desire to kill all living things it sees. Essentially, in order for a Druid to calm it, it would need to somehow convince the crab that they are indeed not a fellow living creature, but a rock.
  9. Alright, alright, you see, these are creatures of nature that were twisted by an insane alchemist into an oversized abomination. They cannot breed either, because if two meet they'll just start killing each other. So, creatures made unnatural by dirty sentient alchemy is my reasoning. When I get home I will make a separate section for it, as this is truly an IC excuse for an OOC fear of people actually trying to tame giant crabs. KILL THEM! DON'T HUG THEM! BAD DRUIDS! BAD!
  10. First thought: add frost witch exception. Freezer girls need to feed. EDIT: Second thought, does cooking your people properly for a change prevent contraction? Third thought, dwarves really don't need a resistance, from what I know, at least. I'd remove them, and replace it with trolls. Trolls eat people very often.
  11. Contrary to what most are saying, I like this. I've even a method of producing it outside freezing conditions in mind, using domestic magic.
  12. In the meantime, a wool block representation would suffice, I think.
  13. They cannot be communed with by druids because they are unnatural, and shamans can't persuade them with spirits because they are just plain killing machines.
  14. They are amphibious, but prefer the underwater, or moist areas. Also, all existing ones are currently stuck for one reason or another. They'd have to be freed before they could wreak havoc once more.
  15. Giant Crabs Description: They appear to be Giant Crabs, go figure. They are about 15 meters long and 9 meters tall, with a thick carapace covered in spiky growths. Their pincers are strong enough to open up armored men as if they were tin-cans, and hard enough to deflect even heavy siege equipment. It's only true weakness is it's underside, which is less armored than the rest of its body. Age: Judging by the many many years these things have been trapped in Anthos, They just don't die until killed. Mating Cycle: None. If one of these behemoths managed to meet another, they'd just start killing each-other. Creation: Giant crabs are the by product of a rather insane alchemist, who decided to make an army of crustaceans. They were made to be big and merciless, with an unnatural desire to kill anything that moves. The army of crabs quickly killed and ate their creator, and proceeded to Ravage all of Anthos. They were eventually put down (mostly by each other because giant crabs kill anything that moves), but a small handful went unaccounted for, becoming trapped in old ruins, subterranean lakes, or forgotten caves. Taming: Those who try to tame the giant crab will fail. It is a beast made to kill, and unless you can convince it you're a rock, it will crush and eat you. Uses: Good for eating delvers of ruins, and their massive carapaces make good centerpieces for massive tables... or roofing for small houses. Due to the thickness of the crab's carapace, armor made of its body would be weaker than the crab's own resilient body, ultimately amounting to being only slightly more durable than leather armor.
  16. Aliss Exhales. Her hands slide onto her hips, and she takes on a sudden sisterly look. "Right, that tears it. I'm keeping an eye on you from now on. No buts, and first things first, we're getting you out of this swamp." Aliss spends the rest of the evening packing up her and Artimec's stuff, and dragging him home.
  17. Am I... the only one worried that there hasn't been an accepted Event team application since April?

Looking at the currently online (forum) people, I reckon they aren't in much need for more applicants just yet.

  18. Aliss's Grin fades. In a single lucid movement, she sets herself upright, standing the doorway. She opens the door, and walks into the house. "Fell in love, fell out of love, joined a cult, left a cult- kept the tattoos, found the creator in my life, proceeded to fall out of favor with the creator in my life, became addicted to nightshade, went cold turkey, and ended up living in a swamp. Enough of that bullshit, what's this about you trying to off yourself?"
  19. Another day, another artifact. Just keep reeling in dat edgy factor.

  20. Aliss laughs, She arches her back back backwards, releasing her grip on Artimec's waist and preforming, of all things, a hand-stand. "Of course I like muddy places, Less sharp things to trod on. It's squishy!" Aliss rotates herself, still upside down, to look at you. "So, What'cha thinking about?"
