Already done, It will go up with the next restart (I'll restart it shortly) At first this is what we expected, everyone is getting settled and figuring stuff out.

Hello Lotc, I am glad to finally say that Thales is open! I just wanted to share a little more information with you about the map before you run off and start testing things out. EDIT BY TYTHUS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKNwYwkcip4 With the addition of a large chunk of the plugins for 4.0 being added, for large scale testing and to get player feedback, you will notice a lot has changed on LoTC. Vanilla crafting is gone and LoTC is a little more like an RPG but it is designed around RP and hopefully will be tools to help the quality of roleplay. First off, regions are now claimable! All of this map is freebuild, including where the regions are that can be claimed…. until they are claimed. To claim a plot you will need a town beacon, In the future I think these will be craftable but for now you can buy them at spawn or at the GM shops located at the fork in the east road (411, 210). You can also get tents and rarer blocks there (so no modreqs for tents guys!). You will also notice an NPC banker at the GM shops, These can be placed on request at a GM’s discretion (As in, near shops… one in a village/town/city…. but not one out in the middle of nowhere for 1 farmer and his cows :P ). You can store mina for safe keeping, and transfer them between personas! Next, you can mine on the main map but we have also added a mining world… The entrance to that is located down the west road (-101, 382) but do note that you have to be an apprentice miner to mine at that depth so… Make sure you meet the requirement before you head down there. (I think it’s just selecting mining as your profession to set yourself as an apprentice miner.) Also, from what I can tell... in order to pick a profession you just start doing it and gain XP in that... If there are commands we will update you on it. (Sorry, we suck.. I know) Inside the mines there is an anvil and masonry station. I also added rails so.. if someone gets ambitious and wants to set up a rail system the start of one is at the mines entrance. And….there is so much more to discover! Something else I would like to make clear for this map…. We are gearing up for 4.0 and although this is a temp map the quality of rp needs to come up a tad… far too often in the fringe did you find trolly rp or people misbehaving (Like using /shout for ooc). We will be cracking down on this behavior in hopes of getting everyone ready for 4.0. Lastly, I will be setting up “My Views” for the plugins so we can start getting player feedback. Not all of the plugins that are going to be on 4.0 are on Thales… so things won’t be 100% like this in 4.0 … so when you respond to the My View threads please keep this in mind. And that’s all I have for you right now. Big thanks to Tythus, Sporadic, Kowaman, Shiftnative and BNK for helping turn this map out and All of the Tech team for their hard work on these new plugins! There is normally about 15-30 players on at this time, I know.. I check. It would be... nearly pointless to open the server up now. If we have a bigger following at this time... sure.

We try to base release off peak times, I know that sucks for aussies and the like but... that's just the reality.

We are still going to wait for tomorrow to release (no I don't know if there is a set time). It would just be a bad time to open the map now, it's late at night for all of America and even later/earlier morning for everyone else.

There has always been a lose underlying story to all of our maps, we call it "world lore".

This is a server run by people who donate their time, it's not going to be perfect or move smoothly. Although Tythus is in bed the rest of the tech team is still working to iron out bugs so that we can release it tomorrow. Pex is the only thing really preventing us from opening the server at the moment and it's mostly because of the changes with Mojang. Not really, as this is a temp map we only really covered racial capitals and they are still going to have to hustle over to their regions to claim them... we just let them pick out rough areas that they would like. You are more then welcome to claim any open plot... and even if you don't get a chance to claim one... this is a super temporary map.

Nation leaders know where they are at. I will leave organization up to them (As in... make a post guys).

Tomorrow most likely. Pex is server groups like VIP, ET, AT ect. It's also what gives you access to our plugins.

Hello LoTC, As most of you know the server is changing maps, right now nation regions are done and we are mostly waiting on pex... We are converting our normal pex to something called UIDpex (Mojangs new user id's for servers) and still need to add RPessentials ( a pain in the arse I guess) So the hold up is communication between our server and mojang as your pex will now hold your assigned user ID from mojang. We all want this map out as soon as possible and I know waiting sucks a lot, Thank you for your patience guys. We decided to delay release until tomorrow because of time zones, Go to bed you GMT peoples :P
