+1 This is the idea I am supporting in the GM thread but I have one issue... How to pick an Unbias GM? All Gms are seen as bias. We need a foolproof way to have this handled.

Right, if no one else has anymore ideas I'm just going to lock this.... You want to argue if war is right for LoTC or not make a skype group. As of right now there will be the ability to have war on this server... If you don't have an idea or constructive criticism on an idea posted then refrain from posting.

Guys, stay on topic. This isn't about Alras or that situation, Further posts on it will be removed and if you continue past that I will issue warnings... This thread is about changing the war rules. I was hoping that all 8 pages were ideas that the GM team could bat around and make a poll or something but it's mostly arguing. Kinda proof to me that a council won't work... you can't even stay on topic in a threat ABOUT war let alone deal with one rationally. For me the coucil is out... thats not an idea I can support personally, but it can still be on the table for dicussion. srsly, stay on topic PLOX.

What would count as provoking? If it's vauge people will start wars over insults. Protected as in.... protected by a region. Not what this thread is for.

Hey guys, due to the first war claim being posted and it being a mess.... clearly changes need to be made... we've know about it, we just haven't gotten to it... I repeat This is not the thread for raiding. What we are looking for is what you would like to see, not complaints. What do you think would be the most fair for both sides? What do you think would be the most fun for RP? Stuff like that. The GMs will have a meeting and come up with some ideas and we will go over whats in here. At that point we will post the ideas that we like and get feedback from you guys and a final choice will be made. Thanks for your time! Following the story back as far as I can I THINK alras had the area first but the pillar glitched or was removed and the carrions moved in thinking the region was up for grabs.... then it cycled into gms not knowing the situation and removing pillars and it became a mess quickly. Although Alras had worked on the area in the Dev they were not to get special treatment in claiming that area... I don't know what happened over there at the start of the map... I was not there. As of right now Alras has the region and thats how it's going to stay. I think war rules need to change and as far as I know changes are in the works... I will see about getting a post up for player feedback on this subject. I also know that a few groups that are large like alras should also have the option at a large claimable region (Carrions and teutons.... prolly more) and maybe we can work something out to add more large regions to the map.
