So today was horrific, had to take my son for blood tests and they took 60ml out of a three year old, autistic that cannot speak, and doesn't understand why they are hurting him. I swear if the Dr who had ordered these tests had been there, I would have hurt him...badly. I need a coffee.....my hands are still shaking!!

I myself (with unqualified untrained lack of knowledge) had read the sheets, and I think that the info was misleading and mentioned on some tess 2ml for infants and 5ml for adults and then contradicted itself and I think the nurse took all of it, eg 7ml for each test so it was all magnified. Seems unlikely for a qualified nurse, but then something wasnt done right somewhere. Box of plastic zoo animals put a smile on little dudes face :)

I do apologise for cutting and running on the young lady whose baby I have just delivered. Sadlt Sundays are Star Trek RP nights and at 8.00pm I must don the mantle of Dr Nimshae Najade on the star ship U.S.S. Valkyrie. Hopefully we can continue this some other time. It was awesome!!!

Honest it's extreme age, I am 37, being RPing is one way or other for over a decade. And nothing like being a stay at home Mommy to give you oddles of time to be creative *grins*

So re-jigged texture packs for the Healer Hall done, a 32 x 32 and a 64 x 64, now onto all the lore...and maybe some artwork. Who knows if I have the time....

The build for the Healer Hall is now complete, thank you kindlt LOTC for allowing us the honour of doing this, for providing us with the location AND creative. Truly you are awesome. Also a hearfelt thanks to EVERY GM that has helped us, stayed with us. I will always have a soft spot for you all!. Thanks again!!!

So I am hoping I will be done with creative mode by the end of today, then it's onto writing up Lore/backstory/info and then shall have to have the grand opening....Oh I am so excited. Today's GM of greatness is Freya....but thanks also to Broffesionals, Liri, Roze, Respiren, Robin Drake, Viper, Brettdude, and of Course Shiftnative...if there is anyone I have missed the lack is mine!!, not yours!!!

So project Asulon Healer Hall is ON....at the moment I have a notebook with LOTS of dimensions, and notes....Sarah is beyond excited, this is BETTER than Christmas. Thanks so much Shift and Talf especially. I couldn't hold either of you in higher regard!!!

Hey There That would not be a problem at all, I am going to set up a thread for the Asulon Healer hall when we are nearing completion with lots of information both in character and OCC about the practices, the medicine, a very laymans terms copy of the pharmacopeia, as well as some brief blurb on why the specific minecraft ingredients were chosen and how they equate to real world medicine as most of them do. I am also going to be setting aside times where I will be training medicine practices as I equipped a classroom in the hall. So nay monks who want to learn rudimentary medical practices can always come and learn. However as with real world medicine it will be a grueling task to become a master Healer and some practices will be beyond people who are not commited to the cause of Healer, and would also not be taught to someone who does not take the Healers oath. That means that what keeps the monks special and what makes Healers special quite seperate, I believe there is room in Asulon for both groups. I have already spoken to Talf about the liklyhood of us not being able to heal every patient, and in that case we would of course suggest that they seek out the monks *hugs* Sarah -

Thank you very much but we were very lucky to get approval for this. I was under the impression that the Monks of cloud temple use mystical means to heal, where the Healer hall will use ONLY non mystcial, historical accurate means of healing. If this is wrong I do apologise, we are new, and we did ask about this not only here, but on the Admin Q and A and also in the feedback and support thread. However as we have now got approval and are now building I think we will carry on with our project as we have invested a lot of time and heart into this and it is something we wish to do *hugs* Sarah -
