  1. Xexus' dull amethyst eyes look over to the Onarus representative. He can be heard laughing for the first time in a while. Xexus speaks in a commanding, and elusive tone, the message he is trying to convey obvious. "One should not be so quick to threaten the Oussana, especially since they are the strongest of us, some of the most respected, and have many, many friends. The 'wrath' of your family seems rather small as even I have never heard of your line. If you want to be a purist go ahead, but keep it to yourself. The majority of us are united with Oussana. The Nightheart feels the crescent moon at the top of his staff, touching the tips with his armored fingers. He then begins to speak in a softer and more agreeable tone. I agree that we do not need the pale skins, though. They are but a group of Elves who do nothing but shout all day, and they are culturally deprived. Simply valah with pointy ears, and those who remember their roots and act properly are sadly forced to mix with the others." Xexus takes a deep breath, adjusting the helmet on his face. His new outfit seems intimidating yet ancient. Through the little cut out for his mouth he begins to speak once more. "As for your proposal Goroth, I disagree. I do not want to build new homes next to or in Leu'malin. I believe that we are close enough and far enough to be able to have a thriving culture, trade with other Elves, and have no problems with them. I suggest we continue building Darkhaven, and eventually make it an active Dark Elf settlement, free of Roses, free of attacking Orcs, and free of some of the not likable Elves." "What say you on Goroth's proposal, Khel?" Despite being much older than probably any of the Dark Elves at the meeting, Xexus seems to have a decent level of respect for each of them, especially for Issinardo Oussana. Also his are counter-arguments simplistic and to the point.
  2. The pure Nightheart representative arrives an hour late, and does not state why. As he opens the door, other stare at him. Xexus wears a strange suit and looks to the gathered through the helmet with dull amethyst eyes. He spots Ver'Saril and his eyes stare at her for a very long time. He seems puzzled by her presence. Xexus takes a seat silently and utters a quick greeting and explanation of who he is. "Ker'ayla. I am Xexus Nightheart for those of you who do not know. I have seen the roots of all Nighthearts in my time. I am the elder of my family. It is a pleasure to see so many gathered here. You may continue with your speaking, and I will participate once I catch on." Xexus nods to them all, and turns to look over the Vel'Nightheart once more. His amethyst eyes remain dull and without their sparkle. With that he leans the moon staff of Voxrus Nightheart against the chair, remaining silent and rather elusive in his new outfit.
  3. [[Could you specify where and when this meeting will take place? Will it be here on the forums or in game?]]
  4. I'm the X to the E to the X to the U to the S, and can't no other darkie put it down like me.

  5. My final thoughts before I go off for the night: This is a roleplay server. If you DON'T /WANT/ to roleplay battles, and instead use mc mechanics then why are you here? Roleplay not PvP... If you feel pressured and that you aren't good enough at roleplay, then LEARN to roleplay because this is a roleplay server. And finally learn to be just damn tolerant and nice.
  6. Then poor leadership if so. If you want something done, do it earlier than later. See the massive drama that has been created now? If it were done back then, less people would've argued because less people would have gotten used to it, or started liking it. In what way? Do you have to remove lag, get a better mouse, learn click strategies, jump about, or any of that to do well in a role-play fight? No, the only thing you might need to fix is one's attitude and learn how to lose once in a while, and be less stubborn about you character winning owo.
  7. In that case if PvP didn't need to be fixed, then we would have gotten rid of the RP system in the first couple of weeks, aye? Instead why don't we do what racingbrother said? The defender set the terms if it is PvP or Rp. The target sets the terms. I will not deal with PvP default. I don't get why you are trying to implement something that not everyone can /do/[with their particular situation, computer, mouse or Minecraft lag.]. Everyone can write in English, debate, and have a fair outcome if they just learned how to lose. Not everyone can or wants to learn how to click in such a way so that they win a battle, and waste their time trying to remove lag or learn PvP techniques just so they can click multiple times. EDIT: Let me re-pharse, not everyone can or wants to get the things needed for PvP, such as better irl computers, mouses, or attempting to fix their minecraft lag just for the purpose of PvP. Not everybody is a computer expert or has money to spend on new stuff, because they want to win with PvP.
  8. If Aegis was as great as they say, I simply don't understand why we don't create a role-play time thing like a paradox, and re-create Aegis... It really does sound great, but I guess not when you haven't experienced it. On another topic, I am sticking with role-play. I would much rather do a mind/word game than a click game. Click is for Diablo, not for an ever evolving roleplay server. Another thing I don't get... Why did we change from PvP to RP if it was so great? Why are we ONCE AGAIN changing something that needn't be fixed?
  9. Player versus Player default?!?!?! Sorry, I came for a role-play server...

  10. Yeah so the Business Tactician is dead, and the Nighthearts return more zealous than ever. Fun to come :) http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/90693-the-death-of-xi-swain-and-the-return-of-the-nightheart-family/#entry801299

  11. It was a dark night, a chilling wind coming from the north. The lavishly dressed Xi was walking north, somewhere... He was lost in thought, his steps guiding him to the death beyond Hanseti. Nobody took him for work, the spark of greed and dominance was long gone. VonSchlichten Company was the best thing that ever happened to him, and he blew it for the sake of his own foolish greed. He realized that what his long dead wife once said was true. "Money makes a man into a monster." Yes, everyday he looked at her picture in his now ruined office and was reminded of that quote, yet he did not listen. Now he was the beggar businessman. Dressed richly, yet homeless, purposeless, and jobless. Xi of course kept his slanty face not allowing weakness to show... At one point he realized the goosebumps on his arms. It was cold. The north was unforgiving and yet here he was, for no reason. He let out a sigh, and untied the knot of gold that held his long black, eastern styled hair. Little did he know what was in the north. After fixing his frost filled hair he turned to walk back only to stare into something no man had ever seen before. Without a scream, Xi Swain... Died. The candle was blown out, but on the other side of the world the moon shone brighter... It had been many Human years since the Nightheart family left the once chaotic Malinor. A chorus of waves seemed to guide their ship back to the shores of Malinor this very night. At the front of the ship stood Xexus, and his now grown up child Rhea. He held the moon staff of Voxrus Nightheart firmly as the ship approached land. His amethyst eyes stared up to the moon - the old friendly twinkle in his eyes was long gone. Echo, his wife approached him cautiously. She tapped on his shoulder gently, whispered something in his ear, and then quickly backed away. Xexus didn't react at all, instead he glanced at his perfectly still daughter, and began to speak with a soft but firm voice. "This is your true home, and we come back now. Be ready for the worst." The eighteen year old nodded, her head trained to work with pessimism, fear, and religion. Her golden eyes stared out to the land just as dully as Xexus'. It was time for her to enter the world she was taught so much about. Ravyn, the brother of Xexus was steering and now docking the single masted and small ship. His expression was also extremely unpredictable and blank, glaring at the land ahead of him. Only his wife Calypso and Xexus' wife Echo seemed to have any emotion on their faces. That emotion was quite obvious - extreme worry and fear. The Nighthearts had returned - that is for sure, but something was amiss.
