The blood of the family traces back to the lands of Aegis, but the family itself didn't fully unify until they banded together in Elysium. The family began as a simple merchant family, which made them prosperous after many years of the trade. The family made sure all their children were well-educated and cultured. Eventually education, combat, and creative skill became more valued, and the family eventually evolved into a group of artisans. Not much of the family's history is important to the kingdom of Oren or to anyone in general, just to themselves. Their history starts with the two brothers Robert and Joseph. They were known for their hatred for each other - they always disagreed how things should be done and who should be the patron of their family after the death of their father. The brothers split the family, each side against the other in who should lead the family. Once the two brothers died in the bloody feud, their sons Edward (by Robert) and Brenton (by Joseph) came to an agreement after seeing that their fathers had just been power hungry. They saw the destruction it had caused their family, and they resolved to unite once more and to lead together. They both recognized that their family was stronger together than apart. They rallied their remaining family together and took a vote - after Edward and Brenton passed, only one of their heirs would lead the family to prevent another feud. Lyonel, the son of Edward, had already became a talented swordsman and had earned the nickname “Laughing Storm” from his trainers because of his natural, deadly skill in battle along with his light hearted personality. William, on the other hand, was the son of Brenton and was a year younger than his cousin Lyonel, but he had grown wise and became a good steward of the family’s wealth. The vote was tallied, and it was decided that Lyonel would become patron of the Mallister family. ~~ Culture Of Mallister ~~ The family culture of Mallister is a strong, family value based one. When someone new is born into the family, it is common for the other members to send presents and items to the newborn - even the smallest gift is greatly seen as a badge of respect. Each family member is encouraged to pick up some kind of artistic skill - painting, storytelling, and music among them. Every member of the family is expected to work hard and to serve his family and others. Based on the long military past of the family, the idea of a true knight’s code and honor is often viewed as truth among the family, and most men in the family strive to reach knighthood. When the head of the family passes away, a vote is taken among the family, each member getting a vote in the matter of a new patron. If the vote is a tie, it is suggested that the two have a trial by combat till one yields, but it can also be resolved with another contest instead of combat by a vote from family. ~~ Traditions ~~ Family Bands: Each member of the family is given a single golden band or pin, crafted with a engraved pair of antlers. It is seen as odd or abnormal for any member to not wear the band or pin. Feasts: Once every year, when the snow of the north slowly starts to melt and the waters move into the fresh rivers, the men of the Mallister family go on a stag hunt and bring back any game for the women to prepare for their meal. Any antlers gathered are crafted into gifts for a loved one or lover. Parent to Child heirlooms: When a child is ten years of age, a heirloom is given to them as a symbol of the relationship between them and also a item to guard forever to remember the person for the rest of the moral ages. Family Trials: If a crime is committed by a family member against another member of the family or its allies, the verdict is passed by the head of the family in the eyes of the Creator. Trial by Combat: When in the event of a family trial, the person may call for a “trial by combat”, which is when the fight is either to yield or to death and the result seen is the correct one and is assumed to be willed by the eyes of the creator. If called you may ask for a champion to fight instead in the eyes of the creator and the results will be weighted based on the result of the champion’s fight. The side against the accused is either the House Head, or his champion or anyone else willing to stand against the accused. ~~ Physical Description ~~ The family members descended from Robert have dark hair, while members from the line of Joseph are fair-haired. All family members, however, commonly have green eyes. Most family members are tall, but when they have in height they lack in weight. Most are quite lithe, but those who are combat-oriented have some muscle. ~~ Sigil ~~ The sigil of the family is a large black stag, his proud head raised high, with a yellow field behind him and a golden crown around its neck. The stag is the symbol of the family. A weak and struggling creature at birth, it relies on its mother and herd for care. As it grows, it earns its own rack of antlers - its own crowning glory. The crown is a sign of the growing wealth of the family and one of servanthood to royalty. William sees the events, and sits back in and thinks in shock of what just happened, thou he was never a official cleric he still has a strong bond with Tahariae and he had also written many letters asking to join the order and never getting any response from them at all, he stares in amaze after landing back in the land ((If this isnt possible send me a PM on skype or whatever and ill get it deleted))

William Vekon quietly draws up a book, with all the infomation on the pages, and also leaves spaces to fill with more family memebers once the marriage between Vectis and Penny go though, he then hides the leather bound book in the archives

Reads the letter as he reads on he gets exicted, then stands, he drops the Cup of Badcastle Wine he was drinking then hears the sound of Vectis, William then starts to fear, thinking his next spanking is coming
