Role-playing: Roleplaying is when you act as if you are another item, person, or species. You can also be from many different dimensions of time, such as medieval, prehistoric, or even modern day. The possibilities are endless.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is when you use information gained out of character and use it in character when it has not been given to you in character yet. An example:
(OOC Chat) SomeGuy319: So I got into this temple that only monks like my char can get into.
(OOC Chat) OtherGuy420: Coords?
(OOC Chat) SomeGuy319: x: -345 z: 469

Power-emoting: Power-emoting is when you act as if you are invincible to any emote that can cause harm to a character. An example:

(IC Chat) Gothe_Heckaway: “So be it.” Gothe pulls out his sword and charges at Idunvana.
(IC Chat) Idunvana_Marryouanymore: Idunvana stabs him in the head, then the chest, then the stomach, then the neck, instantly killing him.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Kilala Herlin Dwinhark
Current Age: 28 in dwarven years, in other words, four seasons.
Sub-race (if any): Cave Dwarf
Clan (if any): She currently has no clan.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Kilala has lived her entire life in a cave. She was born in a cave, and never left the cave until she was 14 years old, the day of her second season. That day was very important to her. She had never seen an animal other than the chickens and dogs her mother brought to the cave. She had always felt her life could be more useful than in a cave, but every time, her father, Hertri, gave the same answer.
“Its our reason for livin’, Kilala. Cave dwarves are proud of our purpose. Do ye’ see yer’ fellow dwarves prancin’ in a field like an elf? No. We mine. Be proud of who ye’ are.”
Kilala normally had no choice but to agree with Hertri. He was a good man, but was very stubborn. Kilala decided to stick up to Hertri for once, but he backhanded her. Later that night she made an escape route and left home, heading towards Kal’Urguan to start a life. She realized that anywhere was better than there.
After about half a season, Kilala realized that she left one of her most important items at home. Her ring her mother Simdina gave to her. She got there just as the season had ended, and she found Hertri died of depression just weeks before her returning. She then realized it was her destiny to go to Kal’Urguan and begin her life with no regrets. She attempted to get Sidmina and her younger brother, Durar, to accompany her, but Simdina found that Hertri would have wanted Durar to be raised in the cave. Kilala stayed for another week before she went back on her journey to Kal’Urguan; this time with not only her ring, but Simdina and Hertri’s ring as well. (The rest has yet to happen.)
Ambitions for the Future: Kilala would like to become a owner of a blacksmith in a dwarven city, preferably Kal’Urguan.
Personality: Kilala is very kind, but, as most dwarves, can kick some ass when needed. She is not afraid to get into a fight with anyone, and doesn’t seem to fear much. She does have a soft side, but she tries not to show it to just anyone. She is very rebellious as well as trained with a pickaxe. She can be very hard headed, and will always stand her ground. She is a jokester, and loves to go to the local bar and grab a pint of ale.
Skills: Kilala is a great miner, and loves to smith things. She has been taught to smith since she was just a little tyke.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Kilala is a very strong looking, beautiful, and lean girl. She has long, dark brown hair that covers over one of her bright, golden eyes. She is wearing a blue barmaid dress with a brown corset and white, puffy top. (What the DRESS [Not including hat] will look like is the following links: Side View , Back View , and Front View.) She has somewhat dark skin that is not as dark as most Cave Dwarves skin (She was born like that).
Any other details you wish to share about your character: I don’t have a skin, but it will look exactly as described above. She also has a very strong dwarven accent.
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____ 1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: Kilala would look around for the safest way. Then she would do the exact opposite of the safest way, and go carefully across the rock bridge, If it were to fall, she would grab onto the closest edge. And if there wasn’t a closest edge, well, she would just be SoL. 2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer: Kilala notices the shady dwarves, watching them cautiously. As they got closer, she stands up.
“What do ye’ think yer’ doin’, comin’ up ‘ere with a dagger in ye’ hand.” Kilala asks warily.
“Mind ye’ own business, woman.” One of the men muttered, moving closer to the upset dwarf, who started to turn around as he heard the commotion.
Kilala stands up. “Get out of ‘ere, while I’m goin’ easy on ye’.” The two men laughed.
“What’re ye’ goin’ to do, hit us out with ye’ broom?” one asked.
“Are ye’ gonna beckon us out with a sandwich?”
Kilala suddenly became enraged. “That’d look like heaven compared to what ye’ are about to get.” Instantly, she lunged forward and smashed her fist into one of the dwarves face’s. She turned to the other dwarf and uppercutted him. They both were very hurt and gave up, running from the store. The upset dwarf stands there, in awe of what just happened.
“Why’d ye’ do that for me?” he asked curiously.
Kilala looked at him, “I’d rather not have blood in me ale.”
“What can I do to thank ye’?”
“Hmm... cover me drink bill.”
“Aye. Can do.”
The man payed for her drinks, thanked her again, and they both went on there separate ways, Kilala, on her way towards Kal’Urguan.
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: Kilala raises an eyebrow at the bar owner, but grins. “Aye! Hand it over!” She runs up and takes the ale, chugging it happily. Kilala would take an ale any day.
The man asks, “Would ye’ like another one?”
“Aye!” She answers with a big grin. The man suddenly starts looking much less friendly.
“I’ll give ye’ as many as ye’ would like if ye’ show me what's under that dress of yer’s...” he says, reaching to pull her corset off.
Kilala jumps back, “Oi! Back off, would ye’!?”
The man grins evilly,”Playin’ hard to get? Let the games begin...”
Kilala runs up and kicks him in the groin as he falls to the ground, yelping “AAGH!!” She turns and runs as fast as she can go.
