  1. Remove the pointless figureheads. Malinor needs leadership with some form of militant knowledge and respect. Not 40 princes sitting at a round table discussing what's to be done. Distinct warping in number, I know, but Malinor needs a singular figurehead with final say in all matters. In RP, your populace doesn't respect the prince's word. In OOC, a metric F--k-ton of Malinor's players make you a laughing stock and annoyance to the other players. A single figurehead could do some major IC reforms and maybe, MAYBE bring in some allies. Since Malinor lack the ability to maintain a respectable guard force, an alliance with their borrowed guard force would benefit greatly. Want a good example? How many times did the Rose show up with 20 or so people unannounced? (Bird) Stops raids, banditry and general stupidity pretty quickly. --------------- In terms of this Genocide, it would do wonders for Malinor. If not purging a bit of the unneeded playerbase, it would give the group a uniting factor, which to be blunt, Malinor had for quite some time. Then, Malinor whined it off the server. Had the Exodus chose to stay, Malinor could have properly united, got some good ideas going and formed a decent military, which would have fixed quite a few of the problems. Another example, Kalos/2.5 Islands. Rose and Blackmont-Teuton wars. We kept at it for quite some time, eventually leading in an alliance with the Orcs, Humans and Dwarves. The major halting factor, Emperor's decrees aside, war with Malinor. The TO, White Rose and Blackmont reforged alliances for a singular goal, because our singular figurehead commanded it as such. ---- Just constructive criticism.
  2. Chat room wouldn't work out all that well. It's not hard to create false accounts to bypass bans, even if IP oriented. Proxies are way too easy to get a hold of. Removing a message doesn't do much. It's like being shown a horribly offensive image, it's still burnt in and people are going to react. You/The Server should just remove statuses, get more active staff and designate people to time slots for an always watching eye. For updates about server health and what to do, of course.
  3. It's always something.

  4. The jew's gold has been sapped! The end is nigh, THE END IS NIGH!

  5. There is and was absolutely nothing wrong with Anthos, current issues with the chunk errors or whatever aside. The map was designed pretty decently for the playerbase that LoTC had at the time of it's conception. Initially, RP was pretty condensed and centralized. Nation capitals had purpose and supported some form of populace. However, as is the norm, the, "Individuality," of people lead to the spawning of various towns, manors and etc, which leads to spread out RP. Not gonna prod at solution, as that's not the topic at hand. But, all-in-all, Anthos was pretty decent. Looked decent, when I was around, I could easily find whoever I wanted to RP with and the RP hubs were pretty common sense. Just a matter of walking to them.
  6. Pepperidge farm remembers.

  7. Someone, have a GM kick Sheumgal. He's fallen asleep on his keyboard in the TS.

  8. Bah, plough ye' self. Rootin' long circular winded, cock eared pacifist. Ye'd sooner cut ye' self than stan' to fight me 'alf drunk!
  9. Mass suicide long before that would be a thing, "Filth."
  10. Anyone that takes and pride in anything they've done or do, will feel that it is the greatest. Matters of perspective, but avoiding a stupid argument would be favorable.
  11. I would prefer that the Order stay as it is, a carcass. I mean no disrespect, but just taking the name would smack the new group with issues. Just let it pass.
  12. White Rose Militant Order. Initially formed to hunt mages, monsters and abnormalities. Unfortuantely, I was not around for the forming of the Order and can not give an in-depth run down of it's early times. Late Asulon and Early Anthos, the White Rose gained significant power within Oren, effectively replacing the Flay and Teutonic Order and Horen's Lap dogs. We became a political tool for Oren. If there was Skirmish, the White Rose would be given reign over the matter. Be it tactics or numbers. As time went on, the Rose was given petty assignment pretty much any and everywhere within Oren. Be it guard detail, patrol, or detainment. We were a constant thorn in people's side, though, only in RP. Our leadership did in fact, hate Elves in RP. Which gave us a bit of OOC tension. With our persisted victories and placements, we'd gained more and more notoriety. People just didn't like us OOCly, most of our bad reputation gained through bickering, rumor and misinformation. I was a Rose, as such, take the information as you will. Half asleep, apologies for cluttered thought process. ------------------------------- To answer the, "What Happened?" The general thought process and attitude of the community made a large chunk of us lose interest in the server. Our RP was generally frowned upon, mocked and belittled. People forgot the distinct line between keyboard and hand. The disrespect from the community to us was baffling. We attempted waiting it out, but, decided it just wasn't worth the effort.
  13. "Orc Plougher."

  14. Standing on the deck of a small vessel, quite a distance from Anthos,Thersist alongside various other members of the family look to Anthos. Silence consumes the ship, most stand, heads bowed in prayer. The others, simply stare to the land in a distant silence. A child with a very unique facial feature approaches Temp, hand outreaching to take his own. For a moment, Temp stares to the land, almost in disbelief before the small tug pulls him from his personal world. He turns to the child, smile forming across his face. Temp kneels, placing his hand flat atop the child's head, "What is it, little Erd?" The Child looks up to Temp, look of sorrow across his face, "Why?" Staring to the child, he sighs, looking back to the land, "We've matters to tend to, my son." Erd shakes his head, slowly moving from Temp and approaching the others. Looking back to the lands he gives a simple shrug before turning and moving to descend below deck. ((Yeeeea, I'm out. I'm not a fan of making long winded complaints or such. Later on.))
  15. A small note is neatly folded and lain across the Decurions desk, various bits and pieces of paperwork or report consuming the rest of the desks's surface. Should one take the time to walk around the desk, a neatly folded tabard would be found placed atop the seat's makeshift cushion. Should the other Marked come across the note it would read as follows: "My time has come, I've matters of family to tend to. Where I go, I shall not speak on. The time of my return is unseen. Should it be seen as denial of service or abandoning the cause, so be it. Should I return, I accept my punishment with open arm. I ask not for understanding, nor do I ask for tear. I leave the Marked in Adeon's capable hands. See to it that 'Dagga' comes to. I expect him to excede my talents by far and should he fail, creator protect. Temp Thersist - White Rose Decurion An age has come and gone, all without every truly coming into grasp."
  16. Well then, seems I was horribly misinformed about the public mines...
  17. It's possible I'm wrong, but wasn't there ruling in place preventing people from raiding and camping the public mines?
  18. Mining skill doesn't effect ore locations, at all. While I see the point of the argument, it's not exactly valid.
  19. Like I said, someone goes spaztastic like that, report them. Speak with GMs, RP taking a ship to their island. Let the ship sit a petty distance from the island, take some rowboats. Raid, row back to the ship and go home.
  20. Look to the statement regarding OOC halting to IC conflict and situation. If someone seriously tries to stop what's happening IC OOCly, report them. It's against the rules now, unless I'm missing something.
  21. Honestly, don't worry about it. There are countless work arounds. If all else fails, just do a constant raids to get what's needed. Issue easily fixed.
  22. I would still leave warring metals in neutral territories. It presents some pretty big issue down the line, but.. oh well. Countdown until Kha invasion, I guess.
