The Republic of Turkey Panic and destruction is all that ran threw Ankara, the streets were filled with it. Local business aflame, cars tipped over in the street. Highways shut down in protest for larger civil rights. Many had elected President Tandon for that reason, yet many were still upset at the government for allowing Erdogan to stay in power for so long. Tandon and his Cabinet had drafted a Bill of Rights to say. One that would give the people basic rights that may not be taken away from them it was loosely based off the American Bill of Rights bar the 2nd Amendment. This bill however, would take time to be put in effect. Riots and Protest were expected to continue until the bill was fully in effect. Police and national guardsmen had be deployed the cities heavily effected by the riots to hopefully disperse them. Non-lethal force would be used, the only lethal force if the men were shot at.

The Republic of Turkey President Erdogan had stepped down, and a man Omar Tandon, was elected by the people to take his place. He was loved by the people, because he actually allowed them to speak freely! Tandon had stepped into a tricky situation with the current world politics. Russia had invaded the Ukraine, and an approaching navy had been moving towards the Dardanelles. As an act of neutrality they had been shut long before the fleet would arrive there. The current recruitment drive has reached 200,000 new enlistee's, they would receive their 6 months training and be placed in the active frontline military. The Republic of Turkey (QUICK POST) The situation that was happening at the Iranian-Indian was one that would surely spark a world conflict. But Erdogan had pledged his support to the Iranians, he would not let the Middle-East be bullied and abused like it has in history past. He knew how stubborn the leaders of the Middle East could be so some convincing might be in order but it would be put on hold for right now. 25,000 Turkish troops are dedicated to the Anti-terrorism coalition. A message is sent to the Nigerian government, stating that aid would be given if requested to deal with the terrorist within their nation. Erdogan had start a homeland business initiative, giving an incentive and tax-breaks for those businesses that are currently outsourcing jobs to other countries if they move those back to Turkish shores. The New Texas Republic William set down the written report that the Rangers had prepared for him of the Regulators putting down the settlement for harboring bandits. He has a team prepared to expel anyone who is known for banditry. Anyone not willing to leave will be publicly hung in Houston's square. The Regulators were a faction that needed to be pleased not pissed off. President Watson had known this since hearing about them, and now they had expanded into his territory. He wasn't nearly as powerful as he wished to be able to challenge the Regulators. The Engineer's petition is accepted and a nearby factor is marked as the designated munitions factor. The engineer however is closely watched with one of the Rangers teams, acting as his "Body Guard" personally assigned by Watson. Another smoke house for the fish is planned and construction would take place when resources were available. In other news, bunkers are setup with the browning .30 caliber machine guns. This was to make sure that the settlement was prepared for any assault on it. Marksmen outside of the Rangers are given the M1 Grands and take turns in 'watchtowers' which are abandoned buildings near the edge of town. President Watson would not be caught off guard incase of an attack by anyone or any thing. The bounty of fish was a relief, and are sent to a smoke house so their meat can be eaten and preserved. Watson looks into having a good balance of fish and homegrown crops and looks to expand the farms. Farmers who meet these expected expansions will be rewarded with rare commodities like sugar, fruit, or even a pack of cigarettes that are kept safely in the government storehouses.

New Texas Republic President Watson looked out upon his beautiful settlement, a bustling group of people below his office were trading in the market. It made him smile. Human cooperation was something that made him happy, but he knew work had to be done to make that possible. More death would have to ensue, before the ultimate goal of prosperity could be achieved. A group of twelve people were gathered in the meeting room, these twelve were hand selected by Watson. In the military, they had three regiments. cavalry was very few and far between because of where most fighting would take place in the surrounding area of Houston is mostly inner city. One would consist of the mostly spear and sword units that would be the frontline of the Republic. The second would consist of a mix of archers and swordsmen, they would serve as a skirmisher type regiment. Harassing the enemy to lead them down certain paths that would contain a larger regiment and ambush area. The exact strength of the Vichy Metropolitan Army was set as 3,768 officers, 15,072 NCOs and 75,360 men, all of whom were to be volunteers. In addition the size of the paramilitary Gendarmerie was fixed at 60,000 men plus an anti-aircraft force of 10,000 men. Despite the influx of trained soldiers from the colonial forces (reduced in size in accordance with the Armistice) there was a shortage of volunteers so that initially 50,000 men of the ‘class of 1939’ were retained until sufficient volunteers came forward to fulfill the quota. Calling it the New Texas Republic. Clyde's father was one of the founding fathers of the Republic, and restore it to where it is today. The Republic has seemingly been open to newcomers but as of late due to a massive plague through the south east, they have been wary of 'outsiders'. Each person owns a weapons, ranging from the basic club to a Thompson sub-machine gun the rarest of the weapons in the nations land. Now led by Clyde, he seeks to return of power in the Republic seeking new lands and trade to further grow.

The last RP was very tech driven which I believe made it last that much longer, plus having constant warfare and an active 'Villain' in the Caliphate drawing attention. I would like to see a WWI or WWII one though. That would open up a lot of options for us.
