You say it's Dunadain, but what does that even mean? What will we have if we do what you say? We'll lose every bit of our current identity, and gain... What? What exactly? Why would we want do do all this work, just to make ourselves normal Humans? I still haven't seen you telling us what we SHOULD be like, only what we shouldn't be like.

10/10, this book is Brilliant! I picked up the first volume out of curiosity, and I was not disappointed! Every sentence in this book is wonderfully crafted, beautifully worded, to make what is undoubtedly a beautiful masterpiece, a definite classic! I am eagerly awaiting the next volume in this series.

Okay, I'm looking at this thread, and I'm sorry, but I am not a happy camper right now. This entire thread, as far as I can tell, basically sums up to "You've been doing everything wrong, and we're completely normal humans with funny accents." Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't you just told us that A),We shouldn't be wearing Kilts, or have any other Scottish/Celtic influence beyond accents, and B), We don't even have a different height, meaning that we are quite literally just plain Humans. I mean, the accent barely even factors in, and it's certainly not enough to make us a separate peoples! I, for one, am not going to make myself a Human. I played Adunians because I liked what they were in early Anthos; Angry fighting Scotsmen, not just another guild declaring themselves a nation, and so I shall keep on playing as I have been before, until somebody gives me a legitimate reason not to.

What I'm seeing on this post is basically "Don't wear Kilts, and don't have any Celtic/Scottish influences past accents." I think it's absurd. You're saying wearing Kilts is breaking lore because it's out of fasion, but if people are wearing kilts, then kilts are in fashion, and we shouldn't be trying to restrict that. And also, if we don't have any influences from any cultures, what are we? We're just big Humans with funny accents. Our builds are already pretty generic, we need more original things, not less.

Here's what I think. We can do a combination of the first and third options. Live as nomads, camped outside a city or nation. When times get tough, we leave. I think it can provide some very interesting rp, maybe some tensions, gang wars, etc., and also give the Adunians an escape route, because, let's be honest, the Adunians get in more fights than Lark Steelwell. As for Dave's GoT idea, I think that the less GoT we have, the better. I've seen guilds start up based off of GoT, and let me tell you, people race their faces off about them. I personally would like to see a bit more language development, because using google translate Irish is kinda pathetic. But me and some other people are working on a custom language for the Adunians, so that my work out alright.
