How do you replicate this quickly with 100% confidence? Asking for a friend.

10/10 would rob @Amayonnaise again. When you actually RP the encounter and leave your target alive, it makes for great dynamic roleplay. Even if that dynamic roleplay is your character being hunted down, interrogated and hanged.

Like everyone else has mentioned, it is likely in @Treemo's itemcache. Try contacting him.

I love the plugin. Gives you something to do. One qualm I have is how easy it is to mark down the location of a ‘rare’ or ‘important’ herb and just go collect it over and over. Perhaps for the rarer herbs, make it so the node has a 90% chance to spawn a common herb and a 10% chance for another rarer one. Could even do more different spawn options depending on the location. Hybrid nodes are what I’d call it.
Another thing is that most herbs seem to be situated near roads and cities, in the future when adding other herbs, perhaps encourage traveling far away from civilization for specific herbs. Put herbs in caves and underwater as well if they fit.
As of now, there is not much to do with the herbs, new crafting recipes for salves, potions, bandages, powder, poison, etc. etc. using the herbs would be dope.1 -

It's an interesting issue. I see they're point - Snapchat, unlike Steam or Discord, is normally private and only used for talking to people you know IRL. Ordinary usage means sending pics of yourself, so obviously very personal and not something you want random LOTCers after God knows what to be adding you on.
Yet Skype's the same. Designed to be used to video chat with your family. And yet we used that as the equivalent of Discord for years. So if someone's using their Snapchat for Mineman ****, why is it a problem to share their username if sharing a Skype name wasn't?
It shouldn’t be. A Snapchat username is public information; if it wasn’t Snapchat wouldn’t be able to show it to anyone. You might be able to claim that your Snapchat username on this medium can reasonably be expected to be private, but when the username is a slight alteration of your Minecraft username and used to communicate with other LoTCers to the point that Snapchat recommends the account in their ‘quick add’ section to other LoTCers, that argument goes out the window. The same goes for: rukio, mitto, tealulu, skylez, ski_king, meltymoonlight, spodu, calioos, sandey, trin, fishy, ajax and callum who I was able to recognize in my quick add section just be quickly browsing through. More LoTCers are surely there, but not recognizable to me because their user name is different or I don’t recognize them. There is no issue as long as you do not accept friend requests from strangers / unwanted people.

Sure, she had some of her personal friends on her account who were from LOTC, but that doesn't justify spreading it to a banned player that is pretty much guaranteed to spread malicious intent and has been doing so for quite some time.
Thats my personal input on it, not representative of the mod team as a whole.
I get your point, but it is important to remember that the only thing that was shared was the public username of the account, no images or identifiable information can be acquired with the username alone. He would essentially need confirmation from Pun to be able to view images or any other data. It might be in poor taste and rude, but it is not doxing.
A side note. If anyone is uncomfortable having their Snapchat username visible in the quick add section, you can disable it in your Snapchat settings, which I recommend doing.

Also, just realised, but doesn't doxxing require malicious intent?
No, you can inadvertently dox someone, just ask Bethesda.

I’m going to have to agree with Pie here, He is completely right on the fact that if you go sharing around something like this, without the permission from the Invidiual themselves this does not seem ok
It might be considered rude, but it not doxing. Her Snapchat name contains no identifiable information and does not allow you to obtain any identifiable information. And as far as I know was created to interact with LoTCers specifically. Essentially it is no different than inviting someone to play League of Legends and forgetting to explain other LoTCers are in the party, effectively sharing that person's LoL account. No harm came from it, not could any harm come from it.

Why this post is being made
Yesterday @Callum1307 was banned for the following reason: “Server rules violation 1.2 & 1.3 (sharing private information of a community member with another individual, which was used to harass and target.)”
What essentially happened is that Callum was banned indefinitely with an appeal date of August 18th for sharing @Pun’s Snapchat username with a banned community member, @Flamelynx. I would like to note that I was not incited by Callum to create this post since he is under the assumption it might result in myself getting content moderated for spreading misinformation or banned for doxing, but I feel like this needs to be addressed.
Why this is not a case of doxingAccording to LoTC’s server rules, doxing is to “share private or identifiable information about other players.” Pun’s Snapchat username is not identifiable information, period. This can not be argued since her username is a slight alteration of an older Minecraft username of hers (<--not doxing). Her Snapchat username is also shared with multiple LoTC players to the point where I and many others have the account in our “recommended friends” section of Snapchat. Furthermore, you can derive no further information from her Snapchat username, unless a friend request is accepted, which means the only outcome of Callum sharing her Snapchat username is a friend request she could promptly decline. It is no different than sharing a Steam or Discord username.
Is it private information? That depends. It is not clear from the rules what is meant with private information. Is it personal information, information a person wishes to keep private or information a person can reasonably expect to be kept private? Usually, private information refers to information a person can reasonably expect to be kept private. Typically this would include:
- Name
- Contact information, such as an adress
- Media of a person, such as pictures or videos
- Communications, such as chat logs
- User input, such as search queries
- Medical data
- Behavior, such as locational data
- Performance-related data, such as test scores
-
Financial information
A Snapchat username, which includes no identifiable information does not fall under any of these categories and if by private information the LoTC staff mean any personal data, you could face a ban for mentioning a person’s gender, pronoun, first name, age, timezone, country or any other information relating to a person in any way, that they suddenly decide they want to keep private. If we are banning people for sharing Snapchat accounts, that as far as I can tell were created to interact with people on LoTC and shared with multiple on LoTC people, can we ban anyone for sharing a Steam name, Town of Salem name or League of Legends name? If so I have a long list of names of people that no longer belong on the server.
What do I expect from this post?
I do not expect Callum to be unbanned, even though I believe he should. Has he done anything that warrants a ban? For sure, but you can not just fabricate ban reasons to get rid of players when you can’t catch them in the act. Knowing Pun and Callum’s history with one another, it is my opinion this is a targetted ban. (This is not spreading misinformation, I said it was my opinion, do not content moderate me.) What I expect is a clarification on what is labeled and treated as doxing. Is it any information regarding a person that is not blatantly listed on their LoTC profile? Is it identifiable information or what is commonly referred to as private information as listed above? If it is in fact any information relating to a person not listed publically in their profile then I am afraid anyone can get banned for doxing at any time. I know @Fireheart is the one that facilitated the ban, but it was obviously done at the behest of Pun or strongly incited by her. I hold no ill toward Fireheart or Pun and regard them both as friends, but I sincerely believe this is a slippery slope and want more definitive language regarding rule 1.3.

*’s now has a space between the player name and the emote. This wasn’t the case and shouldn’t be the case.

- You can ping spam the server by typing @ooc @rp etc. in OOC chat.

Emote-colors that do not work:
- black
- blue
- dark_blue
- dark_gray
- gray
- magic (???)
- white
- Being able to ping players with @name in LOOC and SOOC would be helpful. Why is it only possible in OOC?
- Emote Style: Quotations should be the standard since it is what people are used to.

Doing #loom places you in a chat you have no permission to post in and therefore cannot leave.
- You can still do #chat [message]
