  2. "A hunt without archery? Ridiculous!", remarks Atlas with a shake of his head.
  3. Atlas of Westfall stands in the basement of the Savoir library, a rather large, old wooden pipe protruding from the corner of his mouth, puffs of smoke flow in wisps from his mouth, twisting up around his head towards the ceiling. On the stone table laid before him is the enormous sword of the 'hunter' or 'killing machine' that had attacked the library, dropped from the sky in a thunderstorm and moved to strike the most powerful magical being it could locate; Adeon the Witchman. A crossbow bolt, several sword strikes, a stab and one dead Orenian knight later the monstrosity lay on the ground, nothing more than a selection of heavy armour pieces and a gigantic blade, all possessing some form of magical property. Now the plates of metal lie on the stone bench to be studied, and as Atlas blows smoke from his pipe about the room he looks over them with precision and care, observing closely with the assistance of Delonna, his fellow Marked Man. The monster hunters are back in business.
  4. Atlas watches as Torrhen Elendil's bastard continues to degrade his own reputation.
  5. Thorenir Elendil II raises a hand, "Pretty sure, as the one who keeps the lore, I retain my position as Adunian Lore Keeper". He proceeds to scratch his head.
  6. Parcels are left at the homes of Rymeul III, Kayrin and Arnorian Elendil. Upon opening Rymeul's parcel, one would find the sword of Durendal, well kept and safely secured in it's ancient sheath. A piece of parchment accompanies it, containing only a very brief piece of writing, "This blade has never spilled the blood of it's wielder's kin (or so I've been lead to believe). Keep it that way. -Atlas". Kayrin's parcel is smaller than the first, containing the even more ancient Circlet of Harren. The crown doesn't appear to be in the best condition, but then again, it was crafted in an age long past where the smithing skills of men were highly inferior. The gold band is also slightly warped and blackened from it's time sitting upon Lord Rydel's head whilst he burnt alive in Old Ildon. The note with this parcel reads, "In many ways this circlet is more deadly than a sword or arrow. Use it carefully, and don't make me regret this. -Atlas". The final package, entitled to Arnorian, is wrapped almost identically to Rymeul's. Within it sits the sword Grimcrest, quite a battered old relic now, kept with nowhere near as much care as Durendal. Despite this, it is still razor sharp and the bear on it's hilt can still be made out. A final note in contained within this parcel, "The time has come for this weapon to once again pass from father to son. Make sure your use of it would keep it's past owners proud. Ill be hanging onto the other relics for a bit longer. Consider this insurance to be certain of my eventual return. Don't die before then, please. -Thorenir Halboron Atlas Elendil the Second".
