Hello LOTC, I had an idea that had to do with families. This often gets them in trouble RPly b/c they are either looked at too highly or lowly. From my experience of doing this, It hasn't worked for me. I'm proposing we have an 'orphanage' where you can say you come from, instead of lying about your family past. Obviously, if you have a family, you wont have to say this. Is anybody else tired of people lying about their past? P.S, I will actually be building an Orphanage if this is +1'd enough.

The room was cluttered with people, and in the center was Koinette, giving birth to her first, and only daughter Koine. Koine grew up in a small home within the Kaphros town walls, playing with the Visconti children and enjoying the fish that jump from the glimmering water. When The Fringe was threatened, and boats were beginning to be constructed for the new realm, Koine was running through the Oren territory with John Visconti. As they returned to the homestead, Koine realized her mother was missing. As the town declared a search party the boats called for the last of the souls to board and they were forced to leave. As the boats sailed away, and the Fringe started to collapse, screams were heard, and from the woodline came Koinette running to the shore, screaming for them to turn but they couldnt afford hundreds of souls for one so they moved onward. The last thing anybody recalls from the Fringe is the screams and wailing that was generated by Koinette. As Koine entered Thales, she was quiet and shy. She scrambled to a small settlement known as Graigh. When she arrived she noticed other beings looking much like her. as he got to know them she realized that they were the fragmented family members she had lost contact with over her life. She realized that she had a brother, Echo Grace who ran away from home when he was five to live with his uncle Chaos Grace. As she reunited with them, she told the tale of loosing her mother and the last moments seeing her before all she could observe was the small speck of land known as the Fringe. Also while she was there, she met the future love of her life, Davier. Shortly after they met, they were forced to marry because Koine had conceived a child. The wedding was short, simple, and beautiful. A few months after the wedding, Koine gave birth to twin girls, Vuuh and Booq. A few minutes after birth, Booq died of exposure. Vuuh grew up as an only child, and lived happily in Thales. Three days before the Crisis of Thales occurred Davier died randomly and unexpectedly. He was left at Thales as they ventured off towards Athera. On Athera, the Grace Family constructed a land mass known as Davier, in honor of her late husband. As the land was being constructed, they gained many allies known as Lucius, and other settlements. now, they continue to make the town a bigger and better place in honor of Davier. What are they like (personality)?: - Has a tendency to be flirtatious and kind. She likes to swim and collect shells on the beach that symbolize the broken shards of her life. What are their ambitions?: - To advance Davier and the Grace Family. Do they have any special skills?: - Exceptional in trees, she can hop from tree to tree as a wood elf could. What are their weaknesses?: - Flirtatious, and attractive which usually works against her. She also is very bad with any weapons, and has a tendency to be clumsy. She is afraid of the dark, and has a fear of heights. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - White hair with blue eyes. Fair skinned and slim. She has 6 toes on her left foot, and 4 on the other so all in all she has 10 toes. Anything else you want to say about them?: - no, not as of now. The Grace family has never been about blood, but rather about caring for others. In thales, Chaos was on a trip to the Oren Territory when he heard a shreak in the woodline. He walked from the beaten path towards the screams. As he approached it, he saw a baby Dark Elf in the bushes, clothed with rather large leaves. He leans down to pick him up seeing a note attached to his back stating that he cannot be taken care of, and would be better dying / found than living with his real parents. Chaos Brought him home where they lived happily. When the threat of Thales falling came into place. Chaos and the Grace family built a small boat, where they later Traveled to Athera. Now they live in the Grace owned Davier. What are they like (personality)?: - Very controlling, yet caring. He loves to make sure everybody knows who he is, and what he's about. What are their ambitions?: - Populate Davier, along with increasing the Grace family numbers Do they have any special skills?: - Exceptional swimmer, along with being great with a bow. I am starting a clan of dirty looking fighters. They are woman, but men are apart of the clan as well. I know that skinners would like to do skins for money, but I simply don't have the money to pay you.
