  1. Kol'Ordan considers the possibility of another clan war. "Mi iz buthured dat lat yz guing fur wagh agaynzt latz peepul agayn, ebben yf et ez fur azh hozh riizun. Haz lat peeped whub da zpyrutz tynk uv diz azhzt?"
  2. That's awesome! Thank you. I had just been focusing on more physical orc events since I thought shamanism and spiritual encounters were more rare, but if they can be done on a weekly basis, let's do it!
  3. I guess I was expecting a different response than the usual herd mentality, no offense. I was really hoping that some of 108 of you people who saw this would start thinking of ways to make uruk rp more fun. I guess people are happy with just doing small talk in blah with other orcs? No one wants to have the culture go somewhere? (Sorry, I'm frustrated, but I guess I set up my expectations higher than I should've.)
  4. Kol'Ordan'Lur chuckles after reading this message during one of his ramblings "Hur hur hur! Da twigiz bi znagaz nuw, whyle da urukz bi frii!"
  5. So, they're on version 1.8.1 right? We should be getting it soon, right? I'm not the only one waiting. right?
  6. OOC: Wouldn't we technically be hostile toward wood elves since we just tried to declare war on them? Kol'Ordan'Lur shrugs with this announcement. "Diz peep ukkeh, mi guez."
  7. Do the halflings even have a organized response when it comes to war?
  8. Yay! Those in the grip of wanderlust are welcome, right?
  9. While I'm glad that you're patting me on the back, the purpose of this is to brainstorm some fun ideas for all the orcs to do. If you have any ideas, please put them out! It'll never get done if we don't say anything!
  10. OOC: Although I'm a noob, I would also like to be someone (hopefully) that could contribute to the orcish culture. As such, I very much enjoy it when a large group of orcs gather and immerse ourselves in culture that you cannot find with the other races. The big building blocks of culture (in my noobish opinion) is that of what they hold important through celebration, festivals, and other such occasions. As orcs, we not only hold war important, but also our ancestors and spirits that guide us. The way that the orc culture is viewed (again, in my opinion) is not only that of a warrior species, but one that is honorable and seeks guidance from the spirits constantly. (Think Thrall Doomhammer from Warcraft 3 and you get the idea.) Sultan_Mogroka had suggested a list of events that occur throughout the week and I feel that not only would it make the orc culture that much more immersive, more people would be willing to play as an orc and enjoy the gameplay. Sometimes it just seems like there isn't stuff going on. I realize that for these events the Rex wouldn't always be present (he's just too darn busy in real life and rp). However, I think it could be possible that clan leaders and both the Dominus-es could help lead. It could even be possible to set it up so that the different shamans rotate turns for each event in order to give experience to the new shamans who are in the shadow of the more well known ones. (No offense to the big guys, you guys are usually the ones who get picked though.) I would really like your feedback and ideas, since with them the orc leadership is not only more likely to institute it, but also consider what they can do to make sure we have a thriving orcish culture and some fun activities to do throughout the week. Without further adu, here's the necro I'm copying. Thank you all for being willing to read through the incoherent ranting of the inexperienced, and I hope that with this we can make the orc culture even more awesome. Also, first.
  11. OOC: Anyone else reminded of the grey knights with this guild?
  12. Yaaay! More crafting recipes! Hopefully woodworking is good for more than just arrows soon.
  13. Kol'Ordan grunts, as he fashions ferrum arrows for the uzg.
  14. Kol'Ordan broods alone, assessing his options. OOC: I don't want to be that guy, but under what authority is this placed? I know that you aren't the Rex (jen). That aside, a real shame that this happened, I would've really liked to have tried to do that event, but I guess a noob like me isn't permitted. Also, to clarify, I'm not trying to be butt hurt. I just don't want to step on anybody else's toes the next time I try to make an event.
  15. ((That's my bad. I thought that Dom was a dude. I have now fixed it.
  16. Kol’Ordan breathes deeply, taking in the arid scent carried by the desert air. He savors the smell brought on the dry wind that ripples the fur on his Lur Wolf pelt. After taking a breath he walks toward the center of the goi to do what he planned for. “Felluw Domz!” he speaks to the remaining Doms of his clan. There are only a few left, most already gone. “Mi iz Kol’Ordan, agh mi iz tyred uf da uddah Urukz blahing dat wi bi nub’hozh!” He stops for a bit, thinking heavily on what he is going to say before saying. “Mi iz nub blahing dat da udda urukz iz wrung tho, fur dey iz kynd uf ryght! Wi haz biin taynted bai da nub’hozh zpyrut Ixli.” Kol spits after speaking the vile spirit’s name. “Ixli iz da zourze uf owr dizhunur! Nuw, mi iz nub zhomo, agh mi iz yung, bawt Dom hurzelf wuz yung tuu agh zhi led hur klan tu mani hozh tyngz.” Again Kol pauses, as he carefully weighs what he is about to say “Zo mi blah dat wi, da Domz zhuld tayke da fyght tu Ixli agh mayke him rimuuve hiz kurze! Wid da ‘elp uf da zhomoz…” gesturing to the present Malog, Thurak, and Brunnhyldir “...mi tynk diz mai bi abbul tu bi dun. Mi gruk dat diz bi krazi, baht mi alzu gruk dat mi wul du anityng tu ‘elp mi bruddahz en mi klan. Zo, whu iz wif mi?” ((So basically, I am asking that we get the Doms together and take the fight to the spirit Ixli. I know that I don’t really have the authority to schedule an event like this, but I am hoping to find those who are willing and able to help make this happen. Also, if you’re a shaman or a Dom and are interested, let me know. I’m trying to figure out and schedule it, so the time is to be announced and it would really help if I knew who was interested. Thank you all for your time. Edit: The event is not only limited to Doms. This event is not only for the Doms to redeem themselves but also to end their isolation by working with their brothers.
  17. Thanks! That was very helpful.
  18. Mi nayme ez Kol'Ordan. Mi iz uf da klan Dom. Mi iz azh fletcha agh lethawurka.
  19. OOC: So, I have been searching and wondering about the Uzg and its protocol with trading, raiding, and tribute setup. Most of it is fairly simple, such as that an uruk can raid whenever he wants. Others such as trading and enforcing tribute are less defined. Is there rules about who an uruk is allowed to trade with? Is it only within the Uzg or restricted to only allies? I was also wondering if there is already a set of rules on trading and such and also if there was a method on which we kept track of who’s paid tribute and the last time they paid it so that we could be more efficient on exacting tribute and not bothering other players who have, perhaps, just finished paying off one group of belligerent orcs when another group comes demanding. Anyway it goes, I look forward to an answer.
  20. ((This vision is seen by all players who are interested in the shadow hunters and have a suitable orc character for the role)) As you sleep, a strange dream comes upon you. You see a woman with the lower body of a snake and a goblin with four eyes both holding a dagger with a vile green poison hissing as it drips off of the lethal blade. Three voices come into your mind, a woman’s voice, a goblin’s voice, and a strange metallic voice, speaking in unison to you “Lat haz bin chuzin tu du a wurk fur da Uzg. Dere wull bi a zhomo dat wull bryng owr blezzingz tu lat agh udderz zo dat lat wull bi ayble tu zave da Uzg. Gu dere agh sayve da Uzg frum zurtain deztrukzhun.” It is at this point that the three shapes meld into different forms. The woman and goblin shift into two black arrows that cross behind the dagger which forms into black orcish skull with a red light coming out of the eye sockets. ((So, there will be a event this next Thursday at 8:00 EST. It will start near the center of the town. Please come if you’re are interested.))
  21. Kol'Ordan tries to remember the Uruk who sent the Rex to the Monks. He will be keeping tabs and his bow's sights on him.
  22. ((Well, I can't say that this is the response that I expected. Oh well, only time will show if this idea will last.
