O' GUD, VOR HJELP I GYNE ERE,

In these trying times, we find ourselves fighting against an ancient foe which we know all too well; with which we’re far too familiar. Since the foundation of the Duchy of Haense and later the Kingdom itself it has been the duty of Colborn Craftsmen to carry the burdens of production, supplying the Kongzem with its needed resource - of all kinds. Just as we did then we do today stand with our Brothers in Barbanov a pact made by our founding ancestors still resplendent this many centuries later. Know we have not forgotten the promises made and that we are as always hard at work, filial to our liege to a fault. To this capacity, we bring to you today our liege and Koeng as well as our most accomplished Lord Marshal, a donation worthy of your stations. Together we can stand against anything and in war, we shall not falter.

We are all Haeseni and in its glory, we stand together forevermore.

  2. The Colborn Patriarch hefts his warhammer over his aged shoulder, looking past it by his side stood his family, but also brothers and sisters of Haense, Balian, Urguan, Ferrymen and even the Dark Empire. Taking a closer look he saw Felyx @Draketonic talking to his fellow BSK, Godric @Seuss was of course as always by his side, Elia, Ada, and the other young were celebrating. Though Maric @Twandhi was as always busy standing near the Koeng. Even the elderly brother of his Ser Casimir made a showing @Totalitarianism_ "War is a cruel thing, but eym may be old but i'm no weakling even with a hobble. Godric, we'll have to distract the young a little after they get off of their high, reality comes slow - your first kill is never simple." Turning back to the crowd he sat down with his helmet nestled between his legs, for a moment he looked up, towards the sky. "Sig, watch us and gaze for your people might not have gotten the peace you wanted but know we persist."

  3. "Suppose it was only a matter of time." Came the voice from the elderly Adrian Erik Colborn who had seen far too much through his years. His face was licked with the flames cast out from the forge, a pair of tongs, which he held tightly gripped a red hot blade. "That's why we've been preparing all along. This cycle is just about the only thing one can expect to never change, to never stop, well... perhaps with exception the fact that we'll venture for new lands." As he turned to look behind him his once bright face was covered in shadow, light licking a new face, that of his grandson @Seuss. "Or what say you Godric? Its about time we show them what the manpower our family is known for looks like once again, no?"

The City of Karosgrad and its famed basilica towers

With the bustle and prosperity of peace in Karosgrad came a growth in population and talent, new families formed and the old grow more numerous, while some perhaps leave for greater hights. The Nobility have their many occasions, feasts, balls and private affairs. When times are such as this those who aspire for greatness often tend to try and foster their own culture, whether high or low, inspired by those above. Therefore the lial citizens of our Kongzem came together and began planning their own affairs, to start something of their own. In this pursuit the Houses of Colborn, Bishop, Vernhart, Vatornik, Vyronov and Von Audrick found it right to set an example, to open up the field for future festivities. To socialize and foster bonds between fellow brothers and sisters of Haense.

Everything stems from humble beginnings, many stories are yet to be told and the citizenry of the fair Kongzem is the heart of our history. We do what we can to make the best of the prosperity our fallen comrades have sacrificed themselves for, to not waste their efforts. After much discussion between the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, a feast between the families will be held on the First Day of this Saints Weekend. May the occasion be joyous and bring both the older and younger generations closer, may this be the start of something new.

Grand Reopening of the Old Stout Crow Pub

Gasping for a drink? Nothing quite seeming to quench the thirst? Looking to get rowdy, smash a glass and get into a fight? The summer of Hanseti-Ruska has come, and nows the time to get down to the Old Stout Crow Pub which has been freshly refurbished!

After a great personal effort from a number of Colborns as well as Dame Mariya Vyronov, the Old Stout Crow has seen an entire interior rebuilding to include new drinks, a stage, and importantly an ability to make all drinks on site. A night out in Hanseti-Ruska has been secured and protected, with the pub now acting as your one stop shop after a heavy brotherhood training, or whatever else you were doing beforehand.

Upon our reopening we will be hosting a tavern night, and so we cordially invite the denizens of Hanseti-Ruska as well as its allies to come down and check out the new interior.

It is noted that the BSK as well as their Lord Marshal @Buffsanta will be offered a 50% discount as well as free food to celebrate.

  6. "I'm up to here-" He motioned to far above his head before continuing. "-with worry for all my various descendants!" The Colborn Patriarch calmed down after finally mulling over the tale. "Well... at least they had fun I suppose I was just as rowdy when I was their age, reminds me of Ingvar." No doubt the elder started going on a long monologue after that, which we cut out to keep the would-be-readers sanity.

  7. "Oh, I see he finally forwarded the thing he asked me to help him with. The young are ever so energetic." The Colborn Patriarch smiled as brightly as an elder would. It reminded him of his own youth where he made plenty of donations to the Kongzem. It might be time he do so again.. the young had rekindled a flame in him.

  8. The elderly Koeng, Robert I of Haense spoke to Sigismund over a drink of ambrosia. "I must say, you certainly left them with a lot to read my new friend!" With the clink of wine glass the two men smiled to eachother, eyes peering to the mirrored waters in between. "I suppose we'll have to see what your descendant decides to write... then again he is my descendant likewise." While the two waited above in the Seven Skies it seemed they wouldn't have to wait too long until the newly styled Koeng gave them what they wanted.

  9. @Linde

Having followed the man from the palace together with the Knights the elder Patriarch Adrian Colborn shook with each step, his legs were barely keeping on through the emotion hidden within. When the Koeng had told him of his plans, his final play, the old man could only draw in a breath and stand by his side as he had always done. When the blade of Ser Walton the Wall finally struck true, some blood splattered across the square, small droplets painting all those near. It was gruesome, but at least it was the fate the boy had wanted for himself. Perhaps the Haeseni could find peace with that and no doubt would they all honor his decision, for his strength and his valor. "He found his answer after all these years..."

With a ringing in his ears and a hand clutching his cane he made way towards Rudolf Vyronov, perhaps sensing the man's mood the boy spoke to him quickly. "Please, do niet ask me to dual vy, Hauchpapej Adrian." The words broke the Patriarch free of his mind's many worries, is that what he had looked like? As if he was ready to die? Letting out an internal chuckle he steadied his hand with a smirk and whacked the boy across the top of his head. "Shush you fool, i'm not that old yet you hear?" On the inside the man was thankful as those words had brought him the clarity he needed. "There's still much to be done... Barbanov, our brothers, us Colborns will always stand by you and so has been true since both our founders made that promise, that vow. Perhaps that is why we have such long lives relative to our liege, so we might carry their burdens just a little longer." The Vyronov groaned out as Adrian began his monologue, far too used to it by now. "Hauchpapej I want my rest, please.." Thinking that perhaps he also needed his rest the elder relented and left for his bed, perhaps it could bring back the warmth he had lost mere moments before.

    @Seuss

Somewhere above the tall sky was a man kneeling before a far reaching pond which seemed to reflect the blue above, in its reflection could be seen the scenes of the mortal realm. He had been kind in life and loved his people, his was a different reign than most, but so were all those before him and after, behind him stood his father and a burly man. Though in life his son took a entirely different route than himself, he had always hoped there would be successor who followed in his footsteps, more akin to his ideology, his dream had long since been realized and ever since he watched Sigismund's every move. There was finally one amongst Karl's descendants that he felt entirely satisfied with. The Koengs before him which he met with frequently likewise had their favourites and Robert I certainly loved all those who worked the throne and wore the crown. But today, just for a moment he wished to meet someone he had long wished to speak with, for the first time he thirsted, thirsted for someone similar to speak with.

"Brog, I see all too well and now that he has come to us it is only right I applaud him in person this once." The many centuries spent in the seven skies had not lessened the ever-warm smile of the former Koeng, as his naked feet walked the shallow pond waters. He had observed the longest out of the former Koengs, having not left these mirrored waters for centuries, for to him the Kongzem was the greatest passion of his life and its people the jewels of his eye. But today he wouldn't gaze, no, today he would be elsewhere and glad to be so. Perhaps he already knew that it wouldn't only be this once, no, chances are that he and Sigismund had far too much to talk about.

O' GUD, VOR HJELP I GYNE ERE,

In the XXXVIII Session of the Royal Duma there was a moderated debate on ongoing worries from the medics, as well as the opinions thereupon by the representatives that went over the Hospital Bill of 423 ES, written by Lady Erika Barclay. The moderated debate moved on to a vote and resulted in a draw, which in simple terms means the bill did not pass. We of House Colborn having been present in number overhead these proceedings and found both sides to have good points, as a result, we wish to help the Kongzem as we always have, no man or woman, soldier or civilian should have to worry should they be wounded, and as such to alleviate such worries we offer to you Adrianna Darkwood three of our own to study beneath you and become of use.

It is by this decree the following members of our family shall make themselves presentable before you post haste,

    Firr Godric Adrian Colborn

    Firr Felyx Francys Colborn

    Firr Cole Gadian

Until a solution is found or an agreement is met between the parties of the Royal Duma, we hope this might be of use, may we all serve the Kongzem as our ancestors did and we still do, may the new blood do likewise as the old, together we shall not falter.

We are all Haeseni and in its glory, we stand together forevermore.

  11. Somewhere out there a ancient high elf is busy studying some archaic artefact, dug out from a ruin, in an attempt to study some long gone civilization. Corvac looked to the east then for a moment as a tingle went down his spine. "Hmm, that's odd... Oh-" He stopped for a moment as he came to a realization. "It must be that time of the year again, truly, the old, especially those who never age have infinite time to scheme. We can certainly say that in this department our kind has long outdone the impures. Then again... we might have gotten a little too good at it, seeing as our government never remains stable. Ah well, there's more ruins to dig up! And at the rate we're going i've no doubt we'll be in that next phase in a few elven months, new leaders, new promises, all a part of how things go in the elCihi." Thinking back to the days when he was young and had hopes of undoing the wrongs of the past, he for once in the last century let a small smile grace him. "It's all a dream, dreams made to keep us cozy and sadly ripped away once we wake up, only to realize such is reality. To my fellow kind I can only hope we break the cycle one day, if not, well we've a long enough life to contemplate why!"

  12. The Deputy Palatine, Kaustantin Barcuh arrives with a letter in hand. It reads as follows as the Lord Speaker scans over its contents.

"I have faith in the abilities of Robert Ludovar and as such nominate him for Lord Handler."

    Signed,

    Lord Palatine Adrian Colborn

  13. A certain Baruch Boy with a depression complex walks in and places a written letter on the speaker's desk from the office of the palatine.

"In good confidence I vote for Lord Handler to be Yvo Mondblume."

    Signed,

    His Excellency, Adrian Colborn
