As free men, under the service of Leopold, King of the Westerlands, and his associated peerage, we agree to the following terms mutually brought to fruition with the forces of the Axios Coalition. We take these terms to continue our constant conflict against the enemies of the world, the Sunless Sanctum, and the Nether that sponsors it. White Peace The establishment of White Peace shall be made between the Kingdom of the Westerlands and the forces of the Axios Coalition. Hostilities in the Coalition War against the Holy Orenian Empire between the Kingdom of the Westerlands and the Axios Coalition are nullified and henceforth over. There will be no secession to either side, and the dignity of both the Axios Coalition and the Kingdom of the Westerlands is held intact. Boundaries of the Nation The Kingdom of the Westerlands The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall immediately consist of the massive boreal forest that lies between the lands of the Sunless Sanctum and the Western Mountains of the Orenian Empire, as well as the lands touched by the watershed of the Rivers Piscatorus, Noumenon, and Salv and their tributaries, and this shall be recognized by the Axios Coalition. Territorial colonization by the Kingdom of the Westerlands in adjacent, unclaimed areas shall not be contested by the Axios Coalition. The Axios Coalition The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall recognize the boundaries of the members of the Axios Coalition. The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall not contest territorial colonization by the Axios Coalition in adjacent, unclaimed areas to its member states. Non-Aggression With the terms dictated above, the Kingdom of the Westerlands and the Axios Coalition shall maintain non-aggression. The terms of the non-aggression pact shall be listed as listed. The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall not aid the enemies of the Axios Coalition. The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall not send forces to directly assist enemies of the Axios Coalition in combat, whether it be in the field of war or through covert means. The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall not send aid in the form of money, coin, or arms to the enemies of the Axios Coalition, whether it be in the field of war or through covert means. The Kingdom of the Westerlands, especially its dignitaries, peerage, and people, shall respect the rule of law of the Axios Coalition. Those citizens across the Kingdom of the Westerlands shall be subject to the laws of the Axios Coalition and its associated peerage while within the physical jurisdiction of the lands of the Axios Coalition. Citizens of the Kingdom of the Westerlands shall be guaranteed a fair trial within the localities of the Axios Coalition. The Kingdom of the Westerlands and the Axios Coalition shall maintain the respect of diplomatic neutrality, between each other and the various factions that may want to conduct diplomacy with either. The Kingdom of the Westerlands shall not attack diplomatic parties from the Axios Coalition, and will respect the will of other nations to conduct diplomacy with the Coalition. The Axios Coalition, similarly, shall not attack diplomatic parties from the Kingdom of the Westerlands, and will respect the will of other nations to conduct diplomacy with the Kingdom. Neither the Kingdom of the Westerlands nor the Axios Coalition shall interfere with each other’s diplomatic relationships. The Axios Coalition shall not aid the enemies of the Kingdom of the Westerlands. The Apostoliche Konigreich von Aesterwald ____________________________________________________________________________ PICATORIS ACT OF 1486 Proposed by the Kanzler on the 13th of Sun’s Smile Written by the Privy Seal on the 14th of Sun’s Smile INTRODUCTION As proposed by the Kanzler Franz von Schniepp to the Aulic Council the 13th of Sun’s Smile, the PICATORIS ACT OF 1486 has hereby been put into effect for the immediate demesne of the Konig, including the Grand Duchy of Vanderfell, and his immediate vassals. Changes made by this act shall be adjusted accordingly in the official Book of Law for the Kingdom of Aesterwald, inner hierarchies and structure shall be mended accordingly, and the list of duties and responsibilities for each Aulic Council member shall be changed accordingly. Any and all violations of this act that are not mended by the next month shall face punishment. SEGMENTUM I. Segmentum I shall address all changes made to the domestic Kingdom of Aesterwald, including (but not limited to): taxation, housing, roadways, waterways, or domestic/vassal expansion. REGARDING THE CITY OF VANDERFELL The northern housing area north of Vanderfell, including the former Silverthorne estate, shall be demolished immediately, in place for better space management and betterment of the royal capital. The Blue Moon Inn, formerly owned by Daycia of Vanderfell, shall be transferred to new ownership directed by the Konig and Lord Steward. The new owner, as of the time of this act, shall be Dietrich von Rovin. The free company known as ‘Kosher Company’ shall hereby be barred from all trade and business within the royal capital. Kosher Company is also demanded for their payment in letting multiple houses and stalls to enter disrepair and further for not paying the mandatory taxes passed by the Lord Kastellan years ago. However, Kosher Company shall be allowed to operate within other vassals of the Kingdom, unless continued disruptive behavior is exhibited. REGARDING NORTHERN EXPANSION The County of Ayr, owned by the fair Count Winter, shall hereby be given supplies in their construction of ports and crucial lumber mills to further the progress of the royal capital. Dove’s Hill, immediate vassal of the House Bonehill, shall hereby be given supplies to rebuild and purify the now destroyed, desolated plateau. The illegitimate County of Fi’Nor shall hereby be demolished and the landscape from which it stands shall be remade into a nature reserve. All further expansion by the Duchy of Polaris shall hereby be regulated by the Aulic Council, with all expansion being approved by the council itself. The river that makes up the southern border of the Konigreich von Aesterwald shall hereby be referred to as the Picatoris River in Waldenian geography. REGARDING THE STATUS OF NOBILITY He who is known in the Apostoliche Konigreich von Aesterwald as the ‘Fisher King’ is hereby recognized as a foreign sovereign but is granted the courtesy status as a Landless Noble. SEGMENTUM II. Segmentum II shall address all changes to foreign policy made by this act. REGARDING FOREIGN RELATIONS The borders of the Kingdom of Aesterwall shall be further developed and defined, mainly by the Kanzler, to help stop border disputes with the Triarchy of Human Nations. All relations with the signatory nations of the Sun’s Smile Treaty must be kept to an uptmost high, with main focus upon the war against Iblees. SEGMENTUM III. Segmentum III shall address any and all changes made to the positions and duties of the Aulic Council members made by this act. REGARDING THE KANZLER The duties and powers of the Kanzler shall hereby be reworked and redone, with the following changes being listed here: Powers of the Kanzler The Kanzler is universal, able to control all aspects of the Kingdom’s foundation and running as he sees fit. The Kanzler shall be able to propose and pass acts to and from the Aulic Council, to organize all vassals and territories under the Apostolic Kingdom’s control, to banish all criminals and terrorists from the Waldenian soil, to revoke all noble titles for two months, to call for construction and management of the Kingdom’s resources, and lastly, to call to court any and all members of the Kingdom of Aesterwald.
