To his holiness, the High Pontiff, who my father had forsaken but we honor, The newfound Barony of Praedium, a vassal of the Duchy of Akovia, has for you a supplication of 1,700 bushels of wheat from our great farms. Many a Praedian peasant laboured over our fields to collect this harvest, in the hopes that it will be of benefit to the clergy of the one Church. We also seek, in our earnest piety, to establish a chapel within our lands and a priest to service it. House de Praedium “From fallow to feast.” ________________________________________________________________ The House of de Praedium rose from a simple farming family, born of highlander stock. The founders believe in a simple ethos, that all men are of the same blood, and it is their faith in the Creator and passion to succeed that gives rise to their power. Having found the plateau formerly known as Atgaard nearly abandoned by its previous heathen residents, Jacque d'Praedium and his northern fellows scaled the great stone and colonized it. After establishing on the plateau’s summit, they accepted diplomats from the Akovian valley to their immediate west. Finding a common goal in service of humanity and its Creator, the House Praedium swore oaths to the Crown and to the Duke Vasili Vanir, becoming his vassal as Baron Jacque d'Praedium. Family Members Jacque d'Praedium is the patriarch of the Baronial House of Praedium, and has lived and managed in various cities like Kaphros etc. When he and his brother, Pinocchio, came upon the nearly abandoned Atgaardian plateau, they drove out the heathens and established a freehold in their family’s name. Jacque has seen 31 years, and is unmarried. Pinocchio d'Praedium is the younger brother of Jacque, and is the steward of Praedium and Baron-Regent in Jacque’s absence. His steady hand in management has guided Praedium to become one of the top three most active Baronies in Oren. Pinocchio has seen 24 years, and is unmarried. Holdings: The Barony of Praedium rests on the old Atgaardian plateau. It is cozy, but well-developed, farming town that prides itself on its commerce and activity as well as its golden wheat fields. Clarence Marchette's eyes widen as he hears the announcement, surprised that the conquering lord would desire the assistance of the common people. He steps forward and writes the following words in short flourishing strokes on the scroll, "Good sir crier, I am called Clarence Marchette. I had my humble beginnings in the wool industry, before serving as Head of Agriculture for the Town of Aeros then Mayor of the Town of Verren, in the southlands. When our land was lost to internal power struggles in the military, I came to Petrus seeking a chance to make my life worthwhile. I now hope that I may have the opportunity to give back to this great city. I am of full human blood, half Auvergnian and half Renatian. I have served both in advisory and leadership capacities and have found myself highly skilled at the profession of farming, the management of resources, the management of coin, the management of workers, and the organization of a settlement in each of its administrative facets. I approve. It's simple and clean, but still aligning to the server theme. Also, can we get a better formatted mobile version?

Plugins should add content, but not complexity. They should add depth, but not disfunction.

Considering we're not a highly ranked server, yet we have a fairly large and active server, one would think we need better rewards. I'm not sure exactly what those should be.

Both are harmless, and if anyone takes them otherwise, they're silly. There's really no point to them either, so do whatever.

However, being that he was the second son and only 19, upon his father's death he only received a small portion of the family estate. He borrowed a sum of 2,000 minas from his elder brother Vincent, and set out to find his own fortune. When the Fringe was no longer fit for occupation, Clarence purchased a medium sized trading skiff and spent several years at sea, trading fine silks from the elven cities of Athera north into cities along the human coast. He made a sizable fortune of his own, but made poor investments in Petrine real estate that were lost during the political upheaval caused by the Vibian revolt. Again near penniless, but armed with knowledge of market operations and well-educated, Clarence moved to Karovia to try and get a new start.
