Bardolph is a bastard born to Limpy Tardly whom had taken him when he was but a babe. He never met his mother, often preferring to keep it that way as he thinks he was unwanted. Being a bastard, he was treated as so by his father until he grows worthy enough to prove himself better, aspiring to be seen as more than a bastard in his father's eyes, and further make him proud by becoming a knight -specifically a knight of faith- which he read about so many times about the Church of the Canon, and how it was formed by King Horen I. On the 5th of The Amber Cold, 1567 during the relocation from Athera to Vailor, Bardolph turns eighteen,his father already managed to buy land in which a home was built, the land was cold, snowing often and Bard was not used to it, causing him to spend most of his time indoors, until he heard news of a personal bodyguard hailing from Haelunor of the Mali'Aheral coming along to work in said house.
