History

 

Kwint Irongut was born the bastard son of Gamle Irongut. Like Gamle's four other bastards he knew of Kwint's birth but did nothing to meet him. Around the time Kwint reached adulthood, his mother, a Goldhand dwarf, passed away. Over a large portion of his life, Kwint had been an apprentice merchant to many a dwarf. When his mother died, he decided to get a stall in the city of Kal'Ithrun selling fish and ale. He was one of the first dwarves to join the Merchants Guild under the new Great Merchant Thrognar Grandaxe. When Kwint discovered who his father was, the name Goldhand didn't seem to fit anymore and so he changed it to Irongut. Some of his close friends began to call him Goldgut, partially because of his parents but also because of he always seems to know in his gut how to make gold out of a situation.
