How old are you?: - 17 since October :P

What time-zone do you live in?: - Pacific Time (California)

Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I was on a lot of text-based roleplays, such as the magic wars, powers, and bloodwars series. I roleplayed a bit on PS3 games, but there really wasn't anyplace where people took it seriously.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Actually, this will be my first large minecraft server, I've only played with friends before.

How did you hear about us?: - Google Search for elven roleplays.

 

What do you think the server will be like? - By the looks of your youtube video, awesome. I imagine a large amount of people in every race, every single one of them dedicated to their rp character, with events that are inspired by interactions between players i.e. if the player who is the King of the Dwarves decides to invade Elven lands, the players from both factions go to war.

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Indeed.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I'm glad you mentioned metagaming and powergaming, although I doubt that those problems are as serious on a minecraft server (versus how serious they are in a text-based game)

What is roleplaying?: - Assuming the identity of a character bred out of your own imagination, and interacting with other roleplayers as if they too were the characters they portray.

What’s metagaming?: - Not knowing how to keep character and user knowledge apart.

What’s powergaming?: - Deciding the fate of other players without giving them a chance to react.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Elvrohir Aureon

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Wood Elf, although his mother always told him she was part High-Elf.

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 77, barely an adult.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): -

 Born in Malinor, Elvrohir's mother was the daughter of a well-to-do merchant, and his father, an apprentice of the merchant. As time passed, the merchant grew fond of his apprentice's wit and intuition in business, as did Elvrohir's mother. They were eventually wed, and after many happy years together, they had Elvrohir. His childhood would not reflect his parents happiness. At the age of 13, he was sent to live and learn at a military academy, for his parents wanted him to grow up and move up the ranks of society. His main commander was particularly harsh on him and his squad. What his commander lacked in softness he made up for in teaching, as the boys grew their skill exceeded that of the other squads. Once they graduated Elvrohir dismissed the petty officer job that was offered to him. This action strained his relationship with his father, who himself was a stone-cold patriot, and viewed this as an act of insubordination. Elvrohir was determined to set out on his own, and make his way to the top on his own wits. So begins his adventure.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Ambitious. He is quick to learn who his enemies are and who his friends are, if he marks you as his enemy, he will try to get every advantage he can to beat you. When in this mode, everything becomes a means to an end. In a life or death struggle their is no mercy, no compassion, and no innocents.

However if he marks you as a friend, you will find him loyal, willing to fight an army rather than leave a friend behind. He tends to be a bit sarcastic, and on long tiring voyages he will do what he can to cheer his mates up.

What are their ambitions?: - To gain a lofty position in Elven society.

Do they have any special skills?: - His combat skills are above average, but he is not a master in anything. (I hope to practice my bow skills a lot and become a fiercesome shot on the server.)

What are their weaknesses?: - He will often make a tactical error to try to protect his allies. In the heat of the moment his emotions can often control him. He is proud, almost overconfident. He isn't a strong swordsman, preferring to poke an enemy down with a bow

He is young and inexperienced with the world, he would follow a strong mentor, or a leader.

-Your biography is lacking greatly, as both Mali'aheral (High Elves) and Mali'ame (wood elves) both are known as being peaceful, and being oppossed to militairistic advancement.

 

Possibly you could put his reason of joining the academy as a personal reason?

 

-Wood elves have darker skin, and blond hair. You should edit your skin to have it with darker skin, either that or choose a different subrace (If any at all)

 

-Your biography lacks server lore except the fact he was from Malinor. Nor mentioning what land he was born in, or what city.
