Forkology/Sarah 57 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Okay so I'm sorry for possibly posting this twice? But I kinda realized it might now have belonged in the ban report but more so in the support forum so please excuse my double posting. I played on LOTC for a while up until around six months ago when I kinda tapered off but one day I tried logging back online and it said 'alt account of shelbyisrockin'(maybe because of the bigger minecraft updates? idk) and would not let me online. I'm not an alternate account of ShelbyisRockin(well I supposed technically I am), I'm her sister and we share computers/ip address. I was wondering if there is anyway this could be fixed? I'd love to start playing again, I've kinda been feeling museful and very bored and I remember LoTC to be really really fun and dkf;asdjf. I'm dying over here! hahaha! So yeah... Terafir 90 Share Posted January 22, 2014 If I remember correctly having the same IP address as another player is forbidden (I believe its an "unwritten rule"). I'd try and contact an admin to let them know what is happening (although your ban appeal should do the trick). Otherwise, I'd still take a mod's advice over mine. Also, I would consider this rule heavily: Make sure your account's safe! Don't share your account with anyone else, and don't give out your password to anybody. Neri 3590 Share Posted January 22, 2014 If your sister was banned and you share her IP address then you would have been banned as an alt of her, that's why you get that message. You can try adding an Admin on skype or pm'ing them over forums. A GM might be able to help you as well.
