(I admit, in the last 2, I lied about my age mainly due to the fact that I didn't like sharing my age on the internet. This time, it's the truth. Also, in the 2nd link, I was denied due to a griefing video that I put up on my Youtube channel. I won't lie, I did do it, but it was 2 years ago, and I only did it twice. It wasn't fun, being banned from servers. But don't worry, you'll see none of that behavior on this server. :))
How did you hear about us?: - Youtube, mostly.
What do you think the server will be like? - Fun. Most definitely fun.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, i have read and agree to the rules.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -

I agree to the rule that states that meta-gaming is not allowed. Meta-gaming sort of ruins the whole RP experience. If the person learned something OOC, he/she can't use it IC. That really isn't fair.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is taking on the role of a fictional character and performing the actions or making decisions that they would make.

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is using information that you learn OOC, and using it IC.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is performing unfair actions and not allowing your opponent to fight back. Here's an example;

*Helrin did a triple backflip, landed on his index finger and shot laser beams at his opponent*

His opponent wasn't even given a chance to retaliate, which makes it powergaming.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Helrin Firestorm

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, Northerner

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 20

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - I'm going to be using the same description I used in my last application, only with a few changes.

Helrin was born in Oren, and spent his years there. He never met his mother as she died when he was born and his father was mostly drunk, and spent most of his time in a tavern in Oren. When Helrin was 4, his father had abandoned him and left Oren with the owner of the tavern his spent most of his time in. Luckily, a middle-aged man had found him and offered him an apple. Helrin was frightened by the man. Once he ate the apple, he began to get more comfortable with him.

"What... what is your name... sir...?", asked a frightened Helrin.

The man replied with a bright smile, "Blaiden."

Blaiden was also homeless, but they managed to survive for a long time out on the street. Blaiden taught Helrin to lock pick, pickpocket, sneak etc. Soon, Helrin was able to steal from stalls all by himself, without the owner noticing. Blaiden also taught him to fight using a sword and a bow. Blaiden often told Helrin stories of Al'Khazar. Once or twice, the both of them saw Prince Roy, and thought of pickpocketing him, maybe find something expensive and sell it. But, of course, it was too dangerous, especially with all the guards accompanying the Prince. One night, when Helrin was 20, Helrin and Blaiden had tried to sneak into a rich nobles house, and steal some of his belongings. What they did not know was that this noble had a dog. The dog saw them entering the house, and started barking, waking up the noble, and alerting the guards. The both of them started running. A few guards had spotted them, and chased after them. One of the guards, an archer, tried shooting Helrin's friend, but missed. He fired another arrow, and managed to hit his leg.  Blaiden fell down, and Helrin stopped to help him up. One of the guards chasing them hit Helrin's friend with the hilt of his sword. The other one punched Helrin, and pointed his sword at him. Helrin's vision began to blur, and he saw nothing but darkness.

Helrin woke up in a dark jail cell. The iron bars were rusty, and there was moss on the walls. Helrin was a guard, laughing at him, and mocking him from the other side of the bars. Helrin ignored the guard. Soon, the guard was no longer amused, and left. An Elf stared at Helrin from the cell opposite of his. The Elf had a scar running down his left eye. The Elf told him about life in jail, and how long he has been  there. He told Helrin why he was arrested as well. Helrin remembered what had happened to Blaiden, and asked the Elf if he had seen him. The Elf claimed that he had been dragged out by guards a while ago. Helrin was sad and worried. He didn't want anything bad to happen to his friend.

Later that night, a guard stood in front of Helrin's cell. Helrin spotted a key with the guard. He knew he could steal the key. He slowly went closer the the rusty iron bars, and reached his hand out to steal the key. He managed to pick the key off the guard. He slowly crept back, and sat on the floor. After a few hours, Helrin attempted to unlock the cell. He put the key in the keyhole and unlocked the iron bars. He snuck out of his cell, and woke up the Elf on the other side of his cell. The Elf was surprised. Helrin opened his cell as well, and the both of them tried to escape. Helrin spotted a chest with a sign onto of it. It read "Prisoners belongings". He opened the chest and found a golden and black robe with a hood. He put on the robe, and took some gold he found as well. He heard a noise coming from the staircase. He knew it was a guard. He hid behind a wall, waited for the guard to pass by, and Helrin knocked out the guard, dragged him into the jail cell that was once occupied by Helrin, and locked him in there. Helrin and the Elf made their way up the staircase and slowly opened the door. They saw the warden sitting at his desk. Helrin crept up behind him and knocked him out as well. He searched the warden for any items and managed to find a sword and some gold. On their way out, they spotted King Heinrik, consulting one of the prison guards about increasing the prisons security. Oh, the irony. Not long after, the news about Helrin and the Elf spread around the city. They were both wanted criminals. For two days, they went into hiding. They stole from food stalls to fill their belly. The Elf wanted to leave Oren, undetected so they could start a new life.

"Helrin, we have to do this! We have to leave Oren!", said the Elf.

"No. Not without my friend.", replied Helrin.

"He's probably dead by now! It's been two days since we've been in hiding! Anything could have happened to him!"

Helrin knew that the Elf was right, but couldn't accept the fact that he was probably dead. After much persuasion, Helrin agreed to leave the city along with the Elf. They stayed in Oren for a few more days, until they were incognito once again. After a few months, they walked up to the gates of Oren, and left with ease.

"Thank you, Helrin. For all you have done for me.", said the Elf.

Helrin nodded, still thinking about Blaiden.

"I never got your na-"

"Arahaelon. It means noble and wise.", said the Elf before Helrin could finish his sentence.

"Well, Arahaelon, I suppose this is the end."

"It certainly is... Hopefully we'll meet again. In this life or the next."

Helrin nodded and headed south. Helrin could start a new life. He wasn't going to waste it.

What are they like (personality)?: - Helrin is friendly. He doesn't trust people very easily but will go out of his way to help a dear friend in anything.

What are their ambitions?: - Helrin desires to explore the land and meet new people. Maybe land into some trouble on the way.

Do they have any special skills?: - He's a good lock pick, pickpocket, and he is very stealthy.

What are their weaknesses?: - He gets a bit nervous when he has to fight an opponent head on.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -

Sturdy, muscular, just like any Northerner. Most of his face can't be seen because of his hood, but he does have green eyes.

Anything else you want to say about them?: -

Nothing, really.

Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: -
