Could be a GM just jumping on every so often and planting one. By defining "Rare" minerals, what do you mean? The only semi-rare mineral I can think of is Diamond. 

Whatever the **** they want, the GMs could rename the metals for RP purposes, or it could just be ferum and lapis or something, idk man, the event team would probably focus on that. if this is accepted though, I wanna see if I can work in events where big ass caves are discovered. Maybe diamonds, idk m8.
