How did you hear about us?: -I was infomed about this server by a friend. He explained that it was perfect for me because I could indulge myself into the roleplay experience.

 

What do you think the server will be like? - I believe the server will host a great variety of players, from all parts of the world with different ethnicites. Moreover, I trust there will be a collection of mature and involved players who are serious and passionate about ‘Roleplaying’. I think it will be a higly amusing and interesting server experience.

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

 

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - That all players should stay in Character at all times

 

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- I understand these rules.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- If we chose to start a PvP all players must agree on the starting point after they have finished the Roleplay leading up to the battle. Is this correct?

 

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is the art of adopting a role and performing with its set capacities within the boundaries set of the medium you play on.

 

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is using information your character would not know in any circumstance. For example the information given through Skype, Teamspeak or other mediums. You may only handle through knowledge obtained in Roleplay.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is taking action in an unrealistic manner, or where the opponent has no ability to respond in a realistic manner accordingly.

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): -  Human, Illatian

 

What gender are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 58

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -

 

Zoprak Di Valoros was the fruit of an unhappy marriage, born during the exodus to the Fringe. He spend his youth in Vekaro,  where he helped the farmers in his first years.  As a war between Oren & Uruguan erected, he fought as a young boy alongside his father in the many battles. Later he refuged with his mother in the house, leaving his father to turn mad by the trauma and death in those battles.

 

Eventually the mother of Zoprak, Lucrenzia Di Valoroso, broke the bonding with her husband as she took Zoprak with her to the wilds, where she would make a new residence for a peaceful life with her son. Next to the road towards Alras, they met many strangers and finally settled happily. Though, Zoprak had no interests for converse. He used the tomes obtained by his mother to train in the ways of Arcane, spending many days studying the world and its magical embrace. He learned many things about the realm and life, in theory. This was a peaceful period in his life, but also a defining.

 

After the exodus towards Thales, Zoprak was forced to leave many of his possesions behind. Only carrying his diary and remnants of his tomes.  His mother led him to the Illatian caravans searching for Oren to settle, during one of the travels his mother died of starvation.  Leaving Zoprak depressed and tired of life. Thanks to the Illatians surrounding him, he was adopted into their ways again and learned to see the brighter side of life and its principles. As he aged slowly towards the 60s, he would stay with them until the promising civilization was founded.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Zoprak has seen and witnessed many things, making him experienced and wise in how the world works. Though, he tends to see things negatively or as he calls it: “Realistic.” He is very forgiving and open to new things, though prefers to stay with his roots. He regards that a man ; cannot be a man without his sense of self-understanding. And for this he is not very lineant and appreciative of all newcomers and upholds those with a strong self-confidence. He himself is somewhat suprisingly extroverted.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Become a great Archmage and Politician to the Illatian peoples.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Remarkable Linguist.

Give us a description of how they look?:

 

- A proud middle-aged man, humble in nature yet remarkably wise and intellecual. One  can clearly see that in the depths of his hazel-brown eyes, those that have so vigorously stared upon all the lands, he knows that which many do not. He often wears formal, but lightweight attire for his affairs and studies sporting a fashionable, violet hooded robe. Light-armoured pauldrons that were finley crafted to match the pinch of his shoulders. Across his chest, two leather jacks support his trousers. He uses them to hang small pouches and sacks in which he stores some of this writing materials and bevarages.  For his age he has a healthy posture, his face expressing a malencholy coming of age. But it is all too well covered up by a great beard which he so precisley grooms with a pair of golden scissors that were given to him by a former colleuge as a gesture of great friendship.

 

Zoprak has powerful arms; with promient veins spanning the length of them. He himself regards this as a sign that he must work, build and change the world with them. Thus he in no manner seems fagile for a man of his stature.

Just remember that there are some locked magics out there, and that your character cannot be a master at everything. It is recommended that players learn specific type(s) of magic that fit them, and develop their skill through roleplay.

 

To answer your question on PVP battles, since PVP is our server default, if one party wants it they may start a countdown, and after the countdown all parties must engage in PVP. This is only not allowed if players are already engaging in an RP fight, to which both players must agree to engage in PVP.
