Guest Share Posted August 2, 2014 *During one of your travels, you would likely come across a poster nailed upon a wooden post reading as follows: To Those Who May Be Interested: The Adunian Lord and his Thanes seek out any men and women able to serve in the Adunian Realm of Ryme'Val modestly. These servants would be well respected within Ryme'Val for their works regarding the constant maintenance of the Adunian seat of power and town. Any available commoners are thus being called to service within our settlement by word of the Adunian Lord Eldaril Elendil and his Thanes. Rewards and perks are plentiful among those who take up our offer. Specific professions shall receive differentiated compensation than others. General servants shall receive the humble compensation of fifty minas per Elven week. Chefs and builders are typically held in a higher esteem, and therefore are paid double the usual amount. For their service, the Lord and his Thanes promise all who report their own housing, and said servants require to bring their own clothes, of which shall be judged by the Adunian Lord, Eldaril Elendil. Along with the generalized compensation of fifty minas, those who serve the Lord and his Thanes shall find that Adunia may reach many of their accommodations. This may include: - Generously raised homes free of charge. - An abundance of food, raw ingredients for cooks, etc. - Medical care; reaching the needs for servants who fall sick or injured. - Sets of keys intended for accessing various points in the Realm of Ryme’Val. - Reasonable compromises if said servant requests a plot of land. - Safety from foreign threats and or attacks. This would be met by the Orhdu of the Ildician Order. Future needs shall be mended with quite the largess. Initially to become a servant, one is supposed to repeat an oath of which would be presented by the Lord or one of his Thanes. The oath is as follows: I _____, do solemnly swear unwavering loyalty to the Adunian Lord Eldaril Elendil and his Council of Thanes during my time in the Adunian Realm as a servant to the keep Ol'Tor. This I shall sacrifice-- allegiance to any other nation until my service has ended. My moments spent in Adunia will consist of mild-mannered behavior and unmatched tenacity. Long live the Lord and his Thanes. Long live Adunia. By this information, we are to entreat you to visit Lord Eldaril Elendil's hosting of a grand feast within the keep Ol'Tor this Elven day. [[8/2/2014 at 8:00 p.m EST]] You may investigate this opportunity further if you are to attend. The only expectation for a guest at the feast is an empty stomach.
