What sex are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 23ish

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Born into a family of wealthless commoners during a time filled with conflict, Dalton grew up in what would later become the Kingdom of Renatus. Never receiving any formal education or training and scarcely learning to read and write, a proper trade was never a goal for Dalton as he grew. Coming of age during the Renatian rebellion, he lacked the skill required to join the fight and instead became a laborer. Even once the rebellion ended and peace returned, he continued to get by paid for basic and menial tasks.

 

The corruption of King Maric and the fall of Renatus marked a major change for Dalton. His home, job and source of food were all taken from him by the swift expansion of the undead forces. Now a refugee, he fled to Aldersberg where for a time, he was able to squat in an abandoned home. Dalton quickly grew desperate for work, and his attention was turned to the nearby growing town of Leuvaarden. Despite his lack of combat knowledge, it was there that he found himself signing up to the Order of Saint Amyas. 

 

The world was on the verge of another war, and joining the order soon proved to be a gamble that would pay off. His lack of skill was made up for by foolhardy determination and vigor, which quickly saw Dalton fit in well as the Order found itself warring against pagan forces. Now he continues to train and serve, preparing to fight against the enemies of man for when the order is given.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - To an observer, Dalton likely appears relatively simple. He tends to act as instructed to without complaint, simply because he doesn’t know any better. Doubts arise when the purpose of his orders seem unclear, however they’re rarely questioned regardless. He is for the most part a stark, serious person, having never really received the opportunity to simply enjoy the world around him.

 

What are their ambitions?: - His primary ambitions revolve around maintaining a home, and livelihood. Beyond this, his time with Amyas has given him an irrational fear and dislike of pagans, which has in turn led to a desire to keep them away.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - None yet. Dalton is entirely unremarkable. Anything ‘special’ will develop through RP, not as a backstory.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - Uneducated. Unintelligent. Lacking in skills, combat or otherwise. Recklessly obedient.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - As a soldier, Dalton is most commonly seen wearing the tabard and armor of the Order of Saint Amyas. When not wearing these, his clothes are simple and dirty. His hair is messy at best, and his face is unshaven.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - I’m already playing this character on a different account. Just using it for the app because the characters I’ll actually play on this account are either ones that can’t be applied with (such as my golem) or I don’t have a skin for them yet.
