What race are they (and sub-race)?: - She is an elf, specifically a high elf

 

What sex are they?: - Female

 

How old are they?: - 198 years old

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Born in 1298 (unsure of the map to be honest), Kahlan was sired by Cyrilla and Wyborn Maehr'Tayna who raised her away from the life that many elves were living. Struck with tragedy, Kahlan had come to her home one evening to find the place ransacked, her parents nowhere to be seen. Little did she know they had fled to the human lands from attackers, hoping to draw them away from their unsuspecting daughter, where they lived for many years in secret. While they were away they had a son whom they named Maximus.

 

As Kahlan searched for them endlessly, she grew older and soon found herself in the company of others sharing her own misfortune. She joined an order where she met her ex-husband Apollo Ventis. Years later they had two children, Calia and Dante Aldrin II, her only twins and only children. As the years went by, Apollo disappeared leaving her and her brother in law Leon to wonder where he had gone, the children gone with him.

 

Devastated by the loss of her husband and her children, Kahlan went into a deep depression, secluding herself from the outside for many years. The war in Anthos raged on against the Scourge of the North and Kahlan was hardly the wiser. Though one day she pulled herself from her home, hoping to find some trace of Apollo and the twins. Though instead of that, she came across Ramza Mantisuku, and aspiring mage at the time. 

 

Kahlan hadn't thought much of the boy, though his company was welcomed by her saddened heart. The next thing she knew, she was travelling into the bowels of the North in the territory of the Black Dragon himself with the mage. After many days of cold and misery, they came across an odd tree far north with an even more odd white crystal growing from it... They had discovered one of the most priceless and harrowing ores Anthos had seen, and didn't even know it.

 

Anthos ended, the Fringe began, and so continued her journey to find her children. In this realm, Kahlan did find someone, her daughter whom she rejoiced at seeing. Life carried on into Thales and Athera where she soon lost track of her daughter once more, her mind once more afflicted with a depression that cause her hopes to seem almost fruitless...

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Though she can be a kind, almost motherly figure, Kahlan's anger can make her tongue as quick and sharp as her stare

 

What are their ambitions?: - Her ambitions are quite clouded as the years have worn down her strive to better herself. The only thing she has in mind is uniting her family once more so that she may keep on her will to live.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - She is very apt with a bow, though she favors and hobbies in throwing knives. Sometimes for fun, other for sport.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - Her weakness is her children, though more importantly her anger which makes her decisions rash and not very thoughtful. Her depression would be another heavy and almost detrimental weakness. Having brought her to the edge of ending her own life, it still effects her to this day, weakening her once special talents and her inquisitive thoughts.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Kahlan stands at 5'7, her form is slender though not without some curves from her time that she carried children. She has long, flowing brown hair (it has lightened over the years) and although it is unusual for her to have dark hair so unlike her parents and brother, they had always assumed their daughter had gotten the recessive looks from her great grandmother, who also had dark colored hair. Her eyes are an icy blue that turn almost raptor like (look-wise) in her gaze when she angers. This trait she passed along to her daughter.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Though she is not old by elven standards, Kahlan has an aged air about her that speaks what she has seen in her life, and her experiences.
