Cannot Resolve Hostname

Hello,

 

I played on the lotc servers for a while and now I am trying to connect from my new apartment and it keeps giving me cannot resolve hostname and when I join it says unknown host. I tried both hostnames mc.lotc.co and login.lordofthecraft.net and I even tried the IP but then it gives me an error that I have to use the domain name. Now I am sure that it is not an issue on your side because when I use teamviewer to login to the server using my PC it home it works without any problems.

 

I already triend the openDNS thing and I did those steps 20 times and it still doesn't work.

The thing is my network is managed by the college in this regio, so it has some superstrict rules in terms of doing the DNS stuff of fiddling with any settings.

 

I also tried connecting to different mc servers and they had no problems. So it's something between the server and me that's going wrong I think...

 

Maybe allow us to use the IP to login so it doesn't have to resolve the hostname?

Only way to get on the server for me is to use cyberghost (proxy)
