Character’s name: Sovia Naveri

Character’s race: Dark Elf

Character’s age: 19

Biography:

Sovia grew up in a family of orphans, looked after by a wood elf mother and human father who had adopted several other children of various races. She never missed her parents, as she never knew them. Some of her 'siblings' were adopted at older ages, and envied Sovia for not knowing their pain. She occasionally got bullied by these, but not too much, for the other kids loved her like a real sister. They all lived in a large, comfortable home.

One by one, the older siblings would leave and find their own ways. Sovia's foster father was growing old enough that he couldn't deal with any more children, so the family stopped adopting.

 

When Sovia was seventeen, he died of natural causes. Sovia's foster mother, who had hundreds of years longer to live, wept for a long time, even though she knew this would happen.

Next year, the family had just begun to recover from the loss of its patriarch.

 

One night a band of dark elves marched past the house. These were the first of her own kind Sovia had ever seen, so she ran out to meet them without even bothering to wake the others.

 

Next morning, Sovia was gone, leaving behind a consolatory message. She had found her calling.

 

Personality Traits: She is honest and empathetic. She loves animals, but not so much little fluffy ones as powerful, wild beasts. She isn't as proud as other dark elves, nor as untrusting, as she was raised in a multicultural home.

Ambitions: She doesn't really know, at such a young age she hasn't found herself yet.

Strengths/Talents: She is good at telling whether people are lying. She is intelligent and confident.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She knows almost nothing about the culture she is meant to belong to. She sometimes finds it hard to try and fit in.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 180cm tall, weighs about 67 kg. Dark purple-blue hair that is a little wavy. Pale skin for a dark elf and almost desaturated eyes.

• Having your parents die in a fire that your character caused and then running away to become a street thief and criminal is very cliche. That's not even to mention the whole falling into forbidden love aspect of it all.
