Can't Connect Or Log On

Each time I log into the server I'm in for a second then I'm disconnected or It comes up as

Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine

So I'm stuck of the server and I want to punch something

Try disable the server's automatic resource pack.  Go to multiplayer, select the server, click edit, and disable the feature to automatically download.
