Umbreon 0 Share Posted March 31, 2015 What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Prenumbra How old are you?: 10-20 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes, I observed this notion in the rules. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): I do not believe so, although I used to play on quite a few RP servers. I'm looking for an in-depth and mature server at the moment. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Aye. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "Structures that defy the laws of physics, underground, or automated farms/furnaces, floating leaves, and strip-mining, are not allowed." -- Nothing like a bunch of floating trees to question immersion. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): <None> How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found it while searching for 'hardcore' RPG Minecraft servers. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Role-playing is openly assuming the 'role'/portrayal of a character. In this case, one that is made up. You must think as your character would, and make decisions based on his/her experiences. Expressed sometimes as 'becoming' something else. What is metagaming?: Using OOC (Out-of-Character) information in Role-play. For instance, if I were to kill another player IC (In-Character) because of OOC contingencies (He called me a name in Skype.. etc.), the reasoning behind my character's decision would not be valid. I wouldn't have any reason IC to fight him, therefore I'm using something my character doesn't know to my own, personal, avail. What is powergaming?: Bestowing uninscribed power to your character. For instance, saying your character dodged an arrow, raised himself from the dead, or hit the other character first in combat. It can be done in many simple ways, often META-gaming and Power-gaming walk hand in hand when a person has a vendetta against another OOC. Many times these people will create an atmosphere in RP that their character is invulnerable, and they won't stand participating in RP that is not of their own doing. In-Character Information Character’s name: Braigir Darhlem Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: High-Elf/Dark-Elf Character’s age: 48 Realm of Origin: Athera, Petrus Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Braigir Darhlem is the son of a respected Dark/High Elf merchant in Petrus, of the realm of Athera. His mother, a Dark Elf, died during childbirth, leaving the family to grieve. Braigir never knew her, so he never knew what he had lost. Having begun his life in a merchant city, mixed cultures seemed to dot the city in certain areas. Most pure-breeds tended to live in their own specific vicinity though. When his father married a High Elf a year later, she gave birth to a new brother. His name, was SylVin. They grew up together, going everywhere with each other, but truly bonded over sword-play. SylVin would always win the fights, despite being younger. Braigir would get him back with elaborate pranks and tricks. Their father, Dursin, had always been especially harsh on them both. His father never fully forgave Braigir for his mother's death, and often blamed him outright, despite his new wife. He worked all day, and came home to find both brothers brawling in the house, and his new wife off in the shopping district. He often raised his hand, bringing troubles greater than Braigir's mother in the family. He eventually decided to send both Sylvin and him to an academy. The education at the academy was great, but fitting in had been hard. It was located just outside of Petrus, a few miles from the bordering river. Being a half-breed there had consequences though. Braigir was mostly Dark-Elf, with some High-Elf from his father's side. Regardless of being part High Elf, he was the spitting image of his mother. Perhaps that was why his father had been hard on him. Sylvin was Dark and High Elf as well, but had embraced a lot more of his High-Elf genealogy due to his parents being mostly High Elf. His boisterous attitude and Braigir's forked tongue was always getting them in fights. Braigir's words tore up his enemies, but he had not grown a lot yet, and always lost in confrontation. He spent his days in near isolation, with nobody by his side despite having kin in the same academy. He preferred to be alone. When they had graduated, both of them were changed men. They had learned a lot, but years of stress and anger had taken a toll on their spirits. Braigir changed especially, becoming more pragmatic and short-tempered. They did not wish to go back to their home, as their was nothing for them there except grief. Braigir didn't know where he would go, but he knew he had to find something better, perhaps even outside of the Petrus land-borders. Personality Traits: Pragmatic and Unlawful, often Malign. Mixed-Intentions Ambitions: Braigir wishes to uphold domination over his enemies. He, however, cannot do this on his own. Far from it. His words are vexing, and he is regarded as intelligent. Meaning he is less blunt, and talks with a finesse. He will likely look for companions or allies to secure a more suitable social rank. He must grow in his understanding of magic and battle, but he is a quick-wit, often escapes situations with a sly but crude manor. He can learn and grow fast in his adventures. Strengths/Talents: He is educated, and appreciates scholarly works. He has wandered off his moral compass into his own diluted apparitions. Not evil, yet not good. He tends to lead towards a more chaotic nature, but is in no way insane. His introspective diligence will not allow it. His decisions are based on corrupt forms of what he believes is the truth. Nevertheless, he learns overwhelmingly quick, and rarely gives up. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Indecisiveness His moral character seems to shift in respect to evil and good. Rather than focusing on these two basic principles, he tends to delve into misguided fervor. With this in mind, his moral-security/identity in his decisions sometimes cause an internal conflict with himself. He will likely be vacillate when a permanent decision is to be made. (Indecisive <--) Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Since I am not familiar with the weight system, I'll classify him as average weight for his size. His height is only a little above average though. He is not gaunt nor big, so his strength is not overbearing. His skin bares a dingy/ashy tint, and his eyes are crystal blue. His eyes seem almost translucent, and hold a hollow icy stare. His clothes will change, but he generally adorns adventurer clothing. He used to be short, but grew to be above average height, so you may find him to be vain.
