What is metagaming?:using information in role-play mode that is not accessible to you in role-play mode to help you.
What is powergaming?: roleplaying something that is impossible like blowing down a mountain or a tower.

I was born in the town of Petrus with my brother, sister, my mom Elisabeth and my dad bill. Dad was a successful trader and a man of the holy Oren Empire, he taught me to trade and fight. I was not good at fighting but I was good at trading and learning. When I was 12 we moved to the town of Aldersberg.

My favourite book is the Blood Age by Yalen Grandaxe. I love that book because it tells me about a race I don't know much about. When I was 16 an orc named Unkanuka killed my dad. My family and I fled the city in horror. We got help from a wandering monk and he led us to the town of Petrus my hometown. When I was 19 I met Violetta. She was beautiful in every way, golden hair and deep blue eyes. We were happy together and when I was 20 we had a son named John. John had deep black hair from my side of the family and a love of pets from his mom's side. We had a dog, a horse and a cat. I loved my pets so much. When I was 24 I opened a trading business in a big town. And I was taught to pray by two monks. In the town I met Charlie. I paid him to be my servant. He helped me get home in time for my sons birthday.

 

When I was 29 we moved to a small town. When I was 30 I met a highlander named Jake and we got together every night near the lake close to my house. We started a little thing for men, we called it the great Oren society. When I was 34 we moved back to Aldersberg and we were socially at the top of the town. I became rich like crazy! When I was 33 Jake moved to Aldersberg as well. And the great Oren society was back! Jake got a puxie dog named Cuddles she was so cute. And my son john got a spined feasel named Fig. When I was 35 we visited the cloud temple and I had an mystic feeling. Then six days later we went back to home. Now when I am 46 I need to know the truth to the land of Athera!

Your powergaming and roleplaying definitions needs adjusting, they're not completely correct.

 

It's unlikely that a human would have moved and lived in Haelun;or, considering it's the home of the High Elves, the most Xenophobic race on LotC.

 

Thanksgiving doesn't exist on LotC.

 

At this point it would be impossible to visit the past realms, so that ambition would literally be impossible.

 

Goblins and dark magic aren't weaknesses, which makes your strengths and weaknesses unbalanced.
