Definitions

 

Role playing is when a person creates a character using their imagination and then takes control of that character. Hence, the reason it's called role playing, you're playing the role of your character

 

Meta gaming is when information outside of, in this case, what your character knows is used for your own personal gain. For example, if I have two characters, both on opposite factions, and use knowledge I learned from character A to further character B's cause. 

 

Power gaming, in role play, is when one party declares that an action is successful, without input from the party at which said action is directed at

 

In Character Information

 

Name: Cameron Grant

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 24

Bio: Cameron Grant was the son of a minor noblewomen who had died during his birth. Motherless, Cameron lived most of his life learning the trades of a proper nobleman. He learned swordplay, to read, to hunt. However, as his life progressed he began to notice the ever increasing sense of worry and despair that followed his father, and one night he found out why. His family had been in great debt, because, due to his mother's death, his father had been thrown into great depression. Unable to due any work and being nobles only in name, they were running out of money. Every class that Cameron took, every meal he ate, was just less and less money. 

 

His father, eventually, fell gravely ill. Being his father's sole heir, he believed he'd inherit the debt. So, he fled home. He took with him only the essentials, a few scraps of bread and enough money to rent a room at an inn in a nearby village. However, at the tavern he met the son of a farmer named Byrn Marston who, upon hearing his story, pledged himself to Cameron. Now on the quest to raise his families name and to clear their debt, Cameron ventured forth. 

 

Traits: Due to his desire to make his family powerful, Cameron has a furious desire to succeed  in all things, no matter how small. Cameron could also be considered charismatic, as he interacted with villagers on a daily basis. Due to his classes, Cameron is also well educated.

 

Ambitions: To become a powerful figure in the world

Strengths/talents: Since Cameron learned swordplay, he knows a thing or two about swinging a sword. Another benefit of being noble is that he learned how hunt in his spare time. Due to his charismatic personality, he can be see as an adequate leader, in some ways.

 

Weakness/inabilities: Despite being trained on how to do some things, he is rather green on performing the actual actions. For example, he was trained in swordplay, but he's never been in an actual fight. His desire to succeed causes him to not handle loss, of companions and money, very well and, due to this, is quick to anger.

 

Appearance: Standing at around six feet, Cameron wears a tailored cloth jacket, around his wiry frame, over a close fitting white shirt. His hair is a slightly dark brown, similar to the color of mud and his eyes are forest green
